Sad |
No place is safe from the terrorists abi bandits now. Roads, airports, airways, now rail.. |
Nemere2020:That car should have or should be found soonest except all the CCTV cameras installed all over Kaduna metropolis are for show. |
Meanwhile in the other thread the governor of the same state donated Hillux vehicles to Niger Republic to help them fight bandits via patrolling of the borders. Why can't these bandits be located, arrested or flushed out? |
Na wa o While this move is diplomatic one wonders if the Nigerian military, police, immigration, customs and other security agencies posted to protect the territory and borders around these places have sufficient vehicles and necessary support? Is there assurance this move will end or drastically reduce insecurity occasioned by banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling and killings around the mentioned states? Till now our leaders seem to be beating about the bush regarding solving of our security problems. |
This is sad. And most unfortunate is that some comments above are childish, laughing over an important issue as insecurity, it can befall anyone irrespective of status, religion or tribe. Yes he's a northerner where Buhari comes from and lots of northerners still see nothing wrong in Buhari's style of leadership and stewardship of the country so far but there are those on opposite side of the coin, likewise people of other ethnic and religious identities facing this challenge. |
Miracle2022:Where in the whole writeup did you see 'Kaduna' let alone the boldened or is it in your imagination as you try to defend the obvious? |
The meme above perfectly describes the way one leader Asiwaju brought does things.., a step forward and many backwards. |

All these postponements point to one direction, that the caretaker and those backing them don't want to lose grip on the party and power, it shows there are more permutations than meets the eye. |
Truthisunique2:Very possible. The clues are strong. |
donbachi:LMAO ![]() |
BetBuilder365:Have you checked this option out? "Player milestone" All the games were played this morning. Result is almost always like this. Only one player most times fails to deliver. But such player can be picked out easily.
|
dfrost:Those accusations shouldn't deter him/her from reaching full potential please. |
naptu2:My own reaction Whenever one reads from naptu2, this re-echoes in the mind, that - naptu2 is a name, brand and icon on Nairaland who writes well, reports brilliantly and possesses the qualities of one who'll be successful in ownership and management of media outfit. Don't you have a blog, Facebook page, news website, YouTube channel and the likes where people can get content? |
MITCHELL96:Yes long overdue. But guess what? It is now obvious the app is desperate to win back to its platform the bogus tweets Nigerians make and they must have noticed Eguavoen as part of a lot of discussion ongoing on social media. |
ILoveDemMANNA:You mixed good advise with sorry thinking. The good advise is your charge for the OP to strive to work smart and make progress despite the challenges. But my take is the statement you quoted, in your opinion isn't it duty of the government to make conducive environment for businesses to thrive? The insecurity, high rate of inflation, etc mentioned, do you have idea how many of the generality of "youths" you are talking about have been thrown out of their businesses, jobs, lives and opportunities? |
Sad |
Congratulations to her. Everyday there is a Nigerian excelling somewhere outside the shores of the country, but it's been difficult replicating same within the country, why is a this so? |
Always talking from both sides of the mouth. |
mirinder:Follow your heart, that's my advise. Sport or hobby is least of things you should pressure yourself into liking. Go with the hobby you like, like reading and researching, going by your statement that you have 'encyclopedic mind'. |
Naugotaya:Well GSW had the day. As one who follows them and the NBA in general what do you attribute their poor performance in the game before this (against the Nuggets), last 4mins plus of 1st quarter GSW didn't get even one point, despite having MVP SC on the court? That was shocking. |
BabbanBura:Am happy for him. It's sad one who dedicated his life for the country was treated this way by the institution he was willing to die for. Whereas the military has it's code of conduct, the compulsory retirements in face of heightened insecurity should be properly considered. It might have been done in order to create vacancy for younger ones and more agile officers to inject new ideas, but at the colonel level it is quite below the ladder. |
1. Direct Primaries (DP) 2. E-transmission of Election Results Those with control over party register at both state and national levels are clamoring for number 1, i.e. DP, while those who aren't sure of their control are against it. Who and who do you think are in control of the ruling party's register and who and who are in control of the main opposition party's register? 2022 events will boldly unmask. E-transmission? Funny phony politricktians don't and won't want it at all. |
Combine 2 and 4. Get location that makes you visible. Partner a mechanic. While at it you can still rear pigs. |
obyrich:Thank you. This your statement is my take too. Let them publish the LGAs let's see if no one will go to the place they designate as collation centres in such places to do live internet video call, non.sense pple. |
Kriss216:This comment must have been made just to appeal to the conscience of the kano listeners that the PMB regime is better than the PGEJ regime security-wise. But our high ranking officials ignore the dire consequences that such acts may have, as you've already highlighted. So unfortunate. |
emexodoms:First question, is this your leaving country soon (1-2yrs) plan going to be dependent on the money you plan to make with your new job? Based on the boldened, FMCG is your best bet. The paramilitary job will first unsettle your plan cause you factor in six months training and posting to a place you didn't consider thereafter. And if you make a living from that N125k which will hardly get you enough when you enter the market you'll soon realize you can't count on it. |
HacheNoire: you are funny.Na from clap dance dey take start o. Make taiwa.n for no take this your advise before you know Ch.ina go turn around say Nigeria sef na their own, afterall we are owing them humongous amount. |
tife4eva:Am Sorry but not sorry to sound this into your ears, you should be thankful you still have her around, alive. Never refer to your mother as lazy, even when the parameters are pointing that direction. Some people's mothers are witches, the children know and still love them to the point they never agree their ma is a witch. Others their mums are of low virtue (hoes) bringing all kinds of men into their home to mess around, yet it's their mum and they learn to respect/tolerate her. You didn't accuse your mum of any of the two scenarios I painted above, so it means she isn't as bad as you see her. That "lazy" woman carried you as well as your other siblings for months in her womb,..lazy ones will run away from pregnancy, they will flush it. There are some nonsense you aren't seeing or receiving from other family members simply because they are aware your mum is alive, .. Let her drop today (not wishing her so).., you'll realize the saying "A living dog is better than a dead lion", that's when to marry or give out in marriage you'll see what relations make you go through. Just learn to work things around with her respectfully, with time both of you will strike balance. Tell her 'Mum pray for me that God will bless me so that your not lifting a finger will not bother me as I will employ dozens of stewards for you that each will have roles like a separate person making your hair everyday, one massaging you, the other making you up, others cleaning the house, more than one making your meals, Dissert, another reading stories, books, news for you,..' Insist she blesses you,..you never can tell, the power of her words might be the oxidizer that will ignite the fuel of your smart/hard work for glory. Best wishes. |
Naija4love:4 suspects, 20 cars. Film trick. I love your conclusion, 'make dem kwantinue', nangsense people. |
Na wa o. I want to gain more knowledge please. Religiously, traditionally and culturally, is this acceptable? |
