For someone his/her passport will expired july 2023

can the person go for capturing in january or febraury??

I later captured late yesterday around 5:30pm , I did not later bribe anyone all i did was carrying my file from one office to another until it gets to servicom from verification office. I did my interview in verification office , the officer in charge of interview keeps asking me questions about my date of birth , state of origin , my guarantor’s name , my local government and where i was born. If u b DIY , on your day of capturing make sure u get to their office early to hear necessary info cos u will need to open file first but i will advise you go to open file before capturing date if you have chance so has to reduce the stress. After you will take your file to account from account to verification and from there to servicom where you will capture and note that they will delay you cos uno do arangee. Dem hate DIY applicants like anything cos dem believe u dey claim say u wise uno want drop bar for them.

PLease is there any update for the people who their interview date were cancelled

cause have not received any information on the reschedule i need to plan ahead o

Hi guys. I've read through a lot of the replies here and gathered enough information to start this application myself as #teamDIY at the Alausa passport office. Let me add that I did my application myself and paid online, printed out all reqd docs and completed the necessary guarantor forms, court stamps and photocopies requested. If you're #TeamDIY the printed appointment slip will guide you accordingly.

First of, the information on Alausa office here needs updating; the processes have changed at the station. Please take note below:

1. If you are #TeamDIY don't bother going to open a file BEFORE your appointment date. You may be turned back or outrightly rejected. The officers will check your slip; don't try to outwit them

2. Got here around 6.30am and waited to be let in. After filing some attendance book at the security gate I was given a tally containing a number for the capturing queue

3. Every fresh applicant was ushered into the reception to be attended to by officers on a table seated on the right of the entrance. Copies of docs as well as originals checked, I was requested to purchase a white file outside and the file was filled with my docs. They filled my details in a register and I was instructed to proceed to Room 12 ( Servicom room) where my file was inspected, questions about my guarantor asked and my docs were signed off ready for further inspection

4. I exited this room and returned the file to the first inspection table for onward transmission to another room (Unknown). Here they inspected the files again and confirmed all was accurate and ready. I think this office is where the NIN is confirmed and that all details are intact

5. I went to wait in the waiting room until my name was called up to receive my file after returning the tally I was given. The next is another long wait for the actual biometrics capture.

6. My turn came to capture after several nodding and napping and lots of "the network is down". Finally had my biometrics done around 4.35pm and got my enrollment slip for passport collection

So the process has changed. Forget all you know about Alausa. Go ahead and #DIY! A guy paid some officer 95k and sat beside my to wait for capturing after getting here before 9am. If you're not ready to shell out over 180k for the so-called express service, don't listen to anyone and do it yourself

1. We applied for 2years standard visitor visa for myself and wife.
2. Biometrics date: 16 September in TLS Abuja
3. Wife travel history: Only visited UAE in 2017.
4. Self travel history: UAE, France and UK.
5. Wife Application: As a house wife with no income, so I just use my account statement for her.
6. Husband Application: Use previous visa evidence, bank statement, investment, payslip etc
7. Wife TLS Services: Self service, Courier and submitted passport
8. Husband TLS Service: Self Service, Courier and Keep my passport.
9. Wife Status: Receive Passport with 2 years visitor visa on 01/11/2022
10. Husband Status: Yet to receive call/email to submit passport to TLS.
Question: Will I get an email to send my passport or just a phone call for the visa vignette?

So I noticed it's impossible to cancel an already existing appointment once we book. Are there any Interview Waiver (drop box) dates in Lagos now? I hear the Abuja embassy is transferring its existing appointments to Lagos. Has anyone booked a dropbox appointment recently? Thanks!

All my previous visas which the instructions says colour photocopy of previous visas, this guy pulled everything out and returned to us that only Schengen and UK visas is what the Consulate requires

My visas to SA, NZL, Australia, UAE, Japan, Turkey etc were pulled out by this guy

Hi all,
Just arrived yankee for a two week visit. Just checked my passport in my hotel and surprisingly my passport was not stamped. The POE however, took my facial photograph and I spent less than a minute with her. POE was at Atlanta. Is this a new POE policy or she forgot to stamp my passport?

In my case, the company I own is sponsoring.

There's a letter I attached stating this categorically.

That's this family trip is being sponsored solely by the company. Hence, Company bank statement was attached with a letter from the bank affirming that I am the sole signatory.

On this basis, I felt Why should I add personal statement?

I may be wrong on this or write.

But the TLS contact staff categorically put incomplete documents (no personal statement)

I saw it and I was like, why would you do this, despite explaining the reason, not because it's not available.

He then said, if the embassy wants it, they will ask.

Seems the guy just want to deliberately act up

my last application
i didnt include my company account it was only my personal account i tag as salary account
and i submited my company bank reference letter

I thought about this, but I was like, what if the case officer feels it was deliberately omitted and then rule against my application.

The reference number is with me, which is what was sent to the embassy.

I can send soft copy via email and also do hard copy drop off myself at Walter Carrington on Monday.

Just worried about the reaction of the officer.

It was nice. I managed to see the places I wanted to visit, including spending a night in the desert.

My own advice is that you should send it to the embassy via any means and tag your application no the one they sent to you after submittion

Guys I need advice please.
A very serious one

Recall I said I only added the Statement of account of my company as sponsor, and did add personal statement for myself or wife.

TLS then wrote incomplete documents on the application because of this, but they already sent to the embassy yesterday Friday.

I called the customer care of TLS and they confirmed they sent that way and put incomplete documents on it which the consulate would see.

I further asked since it was an error, I can get the documents send via email to the consulate or have it hand delivered on Monday morning. They said I should not worry, that if the case officer needs those documents, they would send a mail to me to bring.

My concern is that, what if the officer decides not to even ask me and take decision that it's not available?

My question to you guys is this:

What would you advise?
Should I send? Or hope that the consulate would ask?

I've been seriously worried since Thursday.

Anyone with similar experience should post in this regard.

Book hotel room that can accommodate 4 adults.

There are suites with 2 bedrooms. Book one, and photocopy the original print out.

Flight, one reservation for all of you.
