Our interview was by 8:30 at abuja, we went earlier and the queue at the the gate was formed by 7
Me and my siblings had a group interview and was interviewed by a lady. I had a lot knowledge about this interview stuffs from here on Nairaland, reddit and a little from quora. So I told my siblings that I will be in front and do most of the talking.

She asked the purpose for our travel and I answered that we were going for our mothers funeral to pay our last respects,

then she asked what I did, I told her I was a third year student @ xxxxxx, then she said all of you, pointing at my siblings- so they answered ( 2 of us are students and the other 2 are working) it seems like she wasn’t paying attention to our replies while my brothers were answering, she was was just scrolling and looking at her computer

Then she asked if we have ever been out of the country before , I said no, that I’ve never had a reason to (none of my siblings replied to this, even the one that has been to uk - I guess he was anxious)

Then she asked if any of us was married. I feel one thing that helped Is that we have no intentions of staying back after the funeral. The interview was barely up to 2 minutes
I really appreciate everyone that replied to my questions.

Didn’t know it was a local flight. But same method may apply also to get flight changed.
Refund may be impossible, so look at changing flight date and also make it a “changeable” ticket.

Regarding to booking of flight early

if not for the terror news they won't have cancel d appointment cause it just days time

Airlines don't or almost never sell tickets that can be refunded.
Confirm if you can change your flight details from the airline directly.
Create an account on the airline website, add the flight details (Confirmation Code) to MyTrips (whatever they call it).
Look around to see if you have a Modify link or button after adding that flight details.
Will cost you a minimal extra, but you won't loose out completely.

Please don't buy a ticket before your interview. Its just a lot of postponed blood pressure and added emotional distress if an application goes south and you will not get a refund

1)ROSS 308.
The Ross 308, they don't grow very tall and are always short but very fat, they can withstand cold but they hate heat.Ross 308 grows faster than other broilers breed. They have a good conversion ratio and are more suitable to be raised for 4-6weeks and then sell them off. they can weigh up to 2.5kg at 5WEEKS of age. The hatcheries that produce them include SAYED AND AGRITED HATCHERY.

2)COBB 500.
Not as fast-growing as the Ross 308, but they grow taller than Ross 308. They can’t withstand cold and often sneeze and contact chronic respiratory diseases(CRD) easily even when they are still a day old chick. They are also strongly resistant to heat more than Ross 308. And more agile and resistant to diseases.
Hatcheries that produce COBB 500 include ZARTECH, OLAM, CASCADA, AND NPG.

3)ARBOR ACRE.
They are more similar to Ross 308 and can weigh up to 2.7kg At 6 weeks of age, they have an average daily weight gain of 93 g and an average daily weight gain of 79g at 8 weeks of age under good conditions. They are also more resistant to diseases.
Hatcheries that produce ARBOR ACRE ARE AMO, CHI, AND FIDAN.

4)MARSHALL
The only disadvantage is that Marshall doesn’t grow up fast like the other breeds do but they are the broilers that grow the tallest among the broilers breed. And they are more required during the celebration period because of their physical appearance. They can stay up to 12 weeks before you can start marketing to sell them.

OK. Now I understand. You can reschedule your flight at no cost. That's what I did with Air peace last year. I dont know about now. Please call the airline. Also call the embassy and ask about the visa fee. It should still be valid. Don't worry so much. Things will definitely work out well.

this a very sad time for me with all the preparation, and money spent

When I applied last month, my passport was returned to me In exactly 2 weeks with visa on it. I wasn’t asked for paid flight ticket either.

Does that mean you will have to travel to Abuja with your documents or you can submit at Voya visa?

I finally had my passport request letter yesterday. I submitted my application on 19 June. I applied using the new portal. Since the portal only requested for a copy of my passport, I didn't attach any other supporting documentation (because I have a valid US visa).
No bank statements
No employment reference letter
No payslips
No LOE
No nothing.
I saw someone here on Nairaland with the same experience and that's why I also confidently submitted.

Good morning. I posted this information to tell those awiating their decision not to be discouraged or get tired because there is light at the end of the tunnel.

i am a frequent traveler to Canada`. My last visa expired during the Covid-19 period. I submitted application for renewal on December 2021 and i received my PPR October 2022. It's a visitor visa. Normally renewal dont take more than 21 days but this one took longer time to drop. i requested for my GCSM notes twice and many web mails.

Those awaiting response should not get tired, get discourage and be persevere. I think their priority now are the Ukranians, Study permit and Work permit.

nevetheless, we should not stop sending them a reminder web mail. All will end in praise.
