Yes, also to prevent any reoccurrence to any other person. Charcoal is one of the fastest methods to clear poison from the system, I'm surprised no one suggested it even in the hospital not even the doctors.

I'm a Medical Doctor & I run HIV clinic every week.
Only everyday HIV drugs are free, but the drugs and management of hiv-related diseases are not free. They pay for their care like every other person.
Advice your dad to take his drug very regularly while your mum should be tested immediately.

A woman at 43years, without any kid is likely carrying fibroid with consequent heavy & irregular bleeding resulting into Anaemia.

So, let her meet a good gynaecologist for accurate diagnosis & treatment

Which town or city are you ?

Moreover, hardly will any gynaecologist do it for you without any living child. So how many kid do you have ?
Also, arrange a visit to a good gynaecologist, who will make accurate diagnosis & perhaps u might change your mind when offered a better option to your decision of hysterectomy.

The doctors will be very foolish to call off this strike on the basis of promise to fulfil their demands. FG has never kept to any promise and won't keep to this too.

You guys just open your mouth to say thrash.
Did FG ever call Resident Doctors for dialogue.
I don't think you know Federal Government of Nigeria.
Give them 50 years ultimatum, remind them everyday, yet FG won't see you nor call for dialogue.
You will be moving from office to office in Abuja but no one will give you listening ear.
Immediately you declare strike action, FG will still not call you for dialogue but instead declare no work no pay.
I can bet you that NARD will collect every penny including strike period money before we resume.
FGN is very insincere and doesn't have the masses at heart.

It's no longer news that Resident Doctors in Nigeria are on strike due to government negligence.
The Residency training in Nigeria is under attack from all sides. The downgrade of Postgraduate Membership certificates without cause, lack of payment of Medical Residency Training Fund, and refusal to employ doctors are worsening the brain drain and frustrating those who chose to remain in Nigeria.
Let's gather to save Nigeria from imminent health sector collapse.

I marvel whenever I see ignorant people vomiting their thrash in order to insult doctors.
For your information, it's not easy to be a doctor, asides the fact that training is very very expensive.
The situation is worse in Nigeria where a doctor is made to do work of 20 doctors leading to burn out, mistakes and premature deaths of doctors themselves.
Despite the above, we Nigerian doctors receive peanut from government as take home when politicians who haven't contributed to nation building live at large.
Even the budgeted peanut don't come regularly until we are forced to embark on strike.
Fellow Nigerians, the little sanity you still see in Nigerian hospitals today is courtesy of RESIDENT DOCTORS.
Why should we be begging the government to pay our money that was budgeted for ?
Why should a senator be receiving over 43 million naira monthly while me that have studied (and still studying night and days) and treated human lives for over 15 years receive 400k monthly.
How do you expect me to put in my best when I can't afford good food, housing, good school for my children among others ? The 'Dr' title doesn't pay our bills nor buy us drugs when we fall sick or contact dangerous diseases at work.
I expect the whole Nigerians to mobilize themselves and protest against Federal Government of Nigeria to do the needful.
The People in Government are not bothered because they don't use our hospital, but I expected the masses to be bothered.
Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors is fighting for Nigerians to improve our healthcare delivery as we have the best trained doctors worldwide even without equipment in our hospitals.

Many people have died bcoz of "ordinary" headache. I will advice you to consult a qualified medical doctor physically to prevent story that touches the heart.
