No, that's weird. Ha! Her taste in men might be off for starters. She might choose some fatherly type But on the same breath, might not be such a bad idea since some of us tend to go for the same douchebags over & over again. Someone else's pick might actually be the right choice.

Always legit TO ME. No outrageousness about it. But in hindsight, I do tend to overreact & end relationships on a whim. I once broke up with a guy because he whispered when I called. Technically, I never broke it off, I just stopped talking to him because I didnt wanna sound crazy by saying, "Your whispering makes me suspicious so it's over!". 3 months or so after, he came to apologize & admitted that he was with another girl that time. So as ridiculous as my reasons may be, my 6th sense about people is always on point.

Anyway, I stand for honesty & acceptance because I dont like relationships that are laid on a foundation of lies. Plus I like the idea of being liked for the real me & that includes accepting my past. Personally, I dont shy away from airing my dirty laundry with significant others because I want to gauge their reaction. I want them to leave. How a person reacts after you've told them unflattering details about yourself is a good indicator to whether they're worth keeping or not. I like "tests" like that because I prefer genuine affections or none at all.

Tell him the truth & if he has a problem with that, then he can hit the freeway. Never be afraid to lose people in life.

All I'll say is armour up. Relationships arent always a walk in the park, but you'll learn to roll with the waves eventually.

With a good head on your shoulders, you'll manage to be in a relationship without ever falling pregnant. That's what protection is for. All those other girls that fall victim to numerous pregnancies must be careless & reckless. Pregnancy should be the least of your worries when there're bigger threats like STDs. Which is why you should always be protected, if/when you choose to have sex. And dont let any guy pressure or guilt you into a sexual relationship before you're good & ready. That tends to happen when one is still clueless & inexperienced.

With that said, enjoy the ride while it lasts & keep in mind that he may not be the one that you'll spend the rest of your life with so dont be deluded. Heartache is unfortunately a downside of relationships & boy, are they plenty where that 1st one came from!
