The crux was not related to his account. He got into trouble using forged documents belonging to the bank to take delivery of his goods without the bank's knowledge.

The bank was preferably going through a legal process. It was not a suspicion of a fraudulent transaction in his account rather a case of forgery to circumvent the bank.
