nohitch:It is good to be realistic in all of these. Where do you see hosting $6? The truth is, this thing is not easy and spending money on ads doesn't guarantee anything. It takes some real hard money to see results. Is the person willing to experiment on Facebook ads with $500? Facebook ad billing can be crazy when the debit alerts start rolling in. Not to discourage anyone, but making money through affiliate marketing seems to be the hardest of making money online as it requires time, experience and money to work. |
uboma:Deals with escrow ends like this on nairaland, it's the one without escrow. My believe is that you have your way and resources of getting your money back and that's the reason you dawned the risk. |
Nairaland story always long. I am very very much interested in the outcome. Who no like better thing? |
bukatyne:Why did you bring up this topic. Hahaha. I wonder why people will go and dig out dead topic by commenting on it. |
This guy sounds like Indians when they want to give you a job. Brand new car for your useless naira of one million? You will know how old a tokumbo car is to sell at one million. Las las na brand new bajaj you go buy |
crackhaus:Eggzatily my brother. This type of question comes up when the landlord either does not have his own car or expect his tenants to be poor and to remain poor. I reject that type of landlord |
mariahAngel:Hahaha My landlord is just a young guy in his 30s (it's an inherited property anyway). He's a real nigga huh. All we do is say hi to each other when we cross path, view each other's WhatsApp status and call/text each other when the need arises. It depends on the type of place one stays sha. Here, no one talks to anyone for anything apart from the conventional "good morning, good afternoon" thing. Nepa Bill and all other utility bills are pasted on the notice board. I'll just read it and make transfer to the designated bank account. No other form of communication/interaction again. And this has ensured our compound remains peaceful for the past three years that I have been living here. It's all these "Baba" landlords that give their tenants issues |
I work from home. Have never revealed my source of income to anybody living in the same compound with me. Got two cars already while always indoors. I don't think your landlord has any right to ask the source of income of his tenant as far as it has nothing to do with ability to pay his rent and utility bills. And to think he knows the guy is working. So, he never believed that the guy could save his salary, borrow money or even get gifted the car. That landlord needs to mind his business. |
For those that get confused when Google maps says, head East, or West or Notheast to Opebi road. Here's the solution. First click on "Direction" on the Google map and the arrow should be pointing on the direction you are to take. Alternatively, head north means continue straight on the road that you are. Head South means face front where your back is. Follow the images below for the rest.

I carried a young guy yesterday from Festac to Domino Pizza, Gbagada. Trip ended 3k. Bolt gave him 800 naira discount. He was to pay 2200 naira. The guy said he wants to do transfer. He brought out his phone and I called my account number. He called my full name as displayed by my bank and said he's done the transfer. He said he did it with Opay app. I waited for an alert which I always get within minutes after the rider has made transfer but I didn't get it. After waiting for some time, it appears the guy is delaying me from taking on other trips. That place had surge and always have surge on Sundays. I just told him that I will call him if I don't get the money. Today, I checked all my transactions yesterday on my internet banking app but his money is not there. I tried calling his number but it is not going through anymore. I reported to Bolt and they compensated me with 1500. All through the trip, I was gisting with this guy. He told me that he schools at Uniben, how he wants to get a car, etc. I wonder why people will do this. Among the 4 sins that cry out to heaven is denying a laborer his wage. They're in this order. 1. Murder 2. Sodomy 3. Oppression of the poor 4. Denying a laborer/worker his wage (James 5:4)

For the records, I just got paid yesterday. Because it seems this gbagbo will not let people see road post alert.

TheWatchDog:Bro, I am exercising patience. I just want to get his contact to keep up with it. Please, don't fight me |
airsaylongcom:Bro, can you drop your telegram contact. My sister's due date is on the 21st because she made the payment on 20th of August but nothing has dropped. The guy who is supposedly my account officer isn't responding to my WhatsApp message nor my calls. |

Now it's clear. I thought you meant the cost of building the entire house. You can get better answers to this question in the property thread here https://www.nairaland.com/2550211/general-topic-thread-to-discuss-anything |
TransAtlanticEx:For your mind now you have made sense? |
Phylife:This question is ambiguous. Can you explain better |
I made this mistake sometime ago. My landlord's kids that were between the ages of 4-9 years were playing in the compound. So, the youngest child (a girl of say 4-5 years) came to my window and later ran away. After sometime, she came again peeping through my window and I wasn't comfortable with that. So, in order to discharge her, I brought out three mints 50 naira notes and gave her to buy biscuit. Few minutes after, the girl together with her siblings (they are actually two girls and a boy with the boy being the eldest) came and knocked on my door. When I opened, she gave me back the money that the mother said she should give it back to me. I told my sister and she warned me never to give another people's children anything whether money or gift because I am not their uncle. Sorry, I am uncle to many nephews and nieces so I thought I could give money to any kid but I was wrong. I learned my lesson that day. Now, if those kids are coming right, I am tilting left, for my own sake. Even to touch or carry a child of someone you don't know nor have any relationship with is risky. |
odimbannamdi:I drive corolla as my personal car and sometimes use it for ehailing when I have the time. How come I have never experienced this intimidation/harassment from any law enforcement agents, whether police, VIO, etc. I think they look face before stopping the driver. Many personal owners of Corolla are out there so I don't see how police will be stopping any corolla arbitrarily, with the assumption that they are ehailing drivers |
This is for InDriver drivers that say that the rider is being unfair by paying the agreed amount despite the traffic. Did you not agree to do the ride for a denarius?

Does this buyer use juju because I don't understand how someone will make the same request 10 times in a day and still get hundreds of offers. |
Who can help me build this type of house in Imo state. It's urgent ![]()
