Good evening peeps. To every scoundrel there is an honest citizen. On the 22nd of December, 2015, I opened a thread here with the topic: 'Can I survive with a 50k job in Lag' considering the fact that I am based in Akure. That the only succour I had with respect to accommodation was with a friend who lived far away in awoyaya, Ibeju Lekki LCDA while my workplace is at Ketu. Well, Mr Gbenga who I am thanking here, doesn't know me from anywhere besides nairaland. He responded to my plight by offering his one bedroom self contain to me at no charge at Ketu where I just have to walk 5mins to work, meanwhile he is away on work transfer!!! In fact I am typing on his bed!!! Nairalanders please say a big thank you for him on my behalf. God bless you all. Modified: His moniker is

If you know you Av good intention and would show your face here on Nairaland. I Av a one bedroom self contain you can manage for free till around March ending 2015 when I will be coming back to lag.. Hopefully u would Av saved enough to rent a room compound house in Ketu which is around 70k to 100k. Depending on agreement and agent fee... Call menon 07032728941...

@op, you will be driving against traffic most of the time, which will not only make your fare cheaper but less stressful. The problem is the distance and where exactly in ketu the job is located.Its okay, take the job, you will surely learn how to cope after the first few months . Good luck.

Forget determination let's be realistic.
1. You are going to spend more than 50k on transportation.
2. From Ketu to Island from Island to Lekki through and fro! find 20k add to the 50k and get a standard well furnished self contained with tiles and water at Mowe.

Please, can I get accommodation of 70k at Berger? I can still afford dat. Please educate me

Good evening nairalanders. This is my first post on this platform and I enjoined you all to overlook my simplicity. I need your views on the scenario I am about to relate. I have a degree like many other peeps out there, completed nysc july this year and have hitherto been jobless. Well, Like a twist of fate, I got a job just yesterday that will be paying me 50k in Lag. I based in Akure and the job is in Ketu, Lagos. My friend that I can squat with temporarily lives at awoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki lga. Can I survive? What do you think peeps?

Got it too. Email Interview slated for monday. I dont think fake company can go all that stress.

I hope all this is real because I cant waste my time at the interview tommorrow. I call on people who have had the interview and got the job to speak up on the reality of this coy. I have had enough of fake stuff.

From d mssg I got, this business awareness test, as it was called, precede the GMAT based aptitude test.

I was earlier scheduled for 15th of oct. Last month, but because I culdnt make it I reschedule and I just got d new date today.

No. I have no idea. But I consulted google and I got something relating to numerical, verbal, diagrammatical and situational judgements. Perhaps working on that can help. Besides, I have till 5pm on monday as deadline for the test. I will still wait to hear some people's experiences.

am surprised too. I never knew rescheduling will brimg me this. Funny enough, it is a prerequisite for d GMAT bases aptitude test.
