It's everywhere but it's harder in Nigeria, outside the country like US is easier, especially for contract jobs, US policies forbid companies now outsourcing to EMEA, unless some South american country and others. Upwork is still a good avenue to earn. I can earn more than my salary on Upwork if not for the country's reputation.

Ai helped me alot. I only turn it off when it comes to Algorithm, but it helps with code and content generation, I've accepted defeat, the content the AI generates is so good, that I now test my thoughts against the AI and work off that and improve.

AI hasn't stolen any job, it has just eliminated the redundant ones, AI still can't generate efficient code, Copilot is not even 100% accurate , it sometimes generate code that fail, it makes alot of heavy assumption, but it's good for devs who don't want to write boilerplate code.

But going through the documentation, I noticed it doesn’t come with a DI container out of the box but rather provides a service class for creating your objects . Although the service class resolves and provides all the dependencies the class will need, I still don’t like fact that you will manually call the service class from inside the controller. Do DI containers affect application performance? If not, why is codeigniter doing it differently.

DI is more of a design pattern.

How about you use your time and develop something like a WhatsApp based chrome plugin that can auto send messages, export contacts from groups to csv and also extract unsaved contacts and save in a csv so user can easily export them to their device using Google contacts then charge users for it after you've gotten some downloads.

Not to take sides, but Blackmentor has a point, a WhatsApp Chrome extension actually makes sense, and I have seen tons of gigs like this on Upworks, @LikeAKing it's really beginner level, the idea he gave is more practical.

Like I said no offense, Tech is becoming harder so we have to push each other's skills.
