RomanceRe: My Mum Doesn't Want Us To Get Married Because Of This Picture by qtguru(m): 6:24pm On Feb 08, 2023
Zikonna:
I need serious advice. I grew up an only child, raised by a single mum. My dad abandoned us as when I was a kid and few years later he died in an accident. My mum is the most important person in my life and I love and respect her. She is also a very religious woman and raised me so.

I am settled and ready to get married and I have met the woman I am sure is the one for me. My mum has met her once and although she had her reservations she wasn't opposed to it. But yesterday while going through my fiance's whatsapp status(bacause she has her number), she came across the picture below and because of it, she is now opposed to the marriage. According to her, she can't let her only child get married to a girl that wears bum shorts in public. She says "this sort of dressing is from the devil"

I have tried to explain to her that my girl isn't like that and she only wears clothes like that once in a while. My mum is still adamant. She wants me to end our relationship and find a "responsible woman"

I am currently torn between my mum and the woman I have decided to spend the rest of my life with. I am afraid that if I disobey my mother's instructions, it would lead to serious circumstances as she is also my spiritual mother.

I do not know what to do. Look at the picture below. I really don't see anything wrong. I cropped her face to maintain anonymity.
Bro even men wear shorts cuz it's comfy, but maybe you should free the babe, and let your mom pick for you.

Remote US job that pays at least 20k usd per annum. Get your laptop, running shoes and headphones. Tour the beautiful countries in west Africa (jump Ghana).

Rent is available on monthly or 3-monthly basis.

Dont be afraid of the francophone countries.

Did I remember to warn you about Ghana?

For income above 40k usd, come to the uae. It is more secure than USA, UK and Canada combined if you promise not to stay in the cheap immigrant locales.

Above 60k, go to europe. Portugal, Sweden, Germany etc. UK only if you must.

Above 90k and you are remote? You be chairman. Any place is home.
UK is so expensive and overrated, I'd rather be in a cheap EU country and have access.

You guys that learned and understand javascript very well, are you guys having double Brain or only for genius.
Please someone should recommend the concept, book or video that really helped him. because I am beginning to question myself if I really I have Brain🧠. How can I stay for 5hrs without getting it.
I have some free time, what you must understand about JS is some things,

JavaScript (EcmaScript)
This is the Syntax part, ES5,ES6,ES7 the two important concepts I will advice is understanding the prototypial nature of JS and the newer offerings of ES6, if you understand how to add to prototype and do inheritance through that, you will understand the core of JS, Class is to make it easier to write. Then learn about Closures, Scope and global variable. There are new features like Generators, Promise and Proxy. You can do some complex features but it requires studying. That's how i learnt I studied the book for years, since I tend to work on a lot of complex JS built projects. Debugging frameworks will show you how different it is from the regular JS code, design patterns too are involved.

JavaScript as an API ( BOM, DOM, Chrome API)

BOM => Browser related features e.g navigation and the rest
DOM => DOM Trasversal, Event, Node and all that
Chrome API => Chrome Browser itself using JavaScript to perform core browser functionalities

what's a good resource to learn chrome extension development
If you are more of a visual learner, a simple Youtube will work, there tons of videos, but if you prefer reading material, you can study the API Reference from Google, it's written with detail to give you an insight into Chrome Extension Architecture, it's mostly HTML, CSS and JS mixed with Chrome API (still JS).

No man is sad being single. That's a question for women. Only ladies find it difficult to be happy without a man in their lives.
Not really, if you were with a good woman and she left you would be sad. staying alone is not good.

I've a graduate trainee video interview with them tomorrow Sir, any valuable tips?
I'd be graduating in June/July and I only have a surface understanding of Spring boot.
Baelung is your guy when it comes to Spring, and watch alot of Youtube, Spring is mostly plain Java Objects and annotation, I found Laravel to be complex than Spring Boot, once i covered the basic of Spring, it was easy to use for work. but I'm no Spring boot expert.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35EQXmHKZYs

Always search for anything on Youtube, Youtube has most of the answers placed here.
ProgrammingRe: I Must Learn Spring Boot by qtguru(m):
Luckydonalds:
OP, learn Spring framework (Spring Core, Spring Data, Spring security, Spring Cloud, Servlets, JDBC and Hibernate) first before moving on to Spring boot. Spring boot relies so much on annotations and abstractions which Spring would open your eyes to with XML configurations. You'd need to understand how the spring application context is initialised and how spring beans are managed by the application context. Also, dependency injection and inversion of control should be your best friends.
Exactly Spring boot Auto-scanning and bean configuration, Read this book by Manning OP Spring boot in Action.

Note: I was told Spring boot adopted Servlet API, but I think some aspect where Servlet is exposed, like Filter chain. I used this package Quartz, SimpleJDBC Stored Procedure, Jackson. I really enjoyed Spring so much, It made no sense writing PHP. Interswitch exposed me to alot, with docker, you can fire multiple instances. Follow this man on Twitter Alex Adeyemo, he built an SSO for Interswitch.
