Hello, it isn't just about applying to schools. You did not state your qualifications or program you'd like. This factors are very important in choosing a school. And generally speaking Canadian education is expensive.

How about in the case where the owner (applicant’s brother with same surename)of the company is the sponsor ?
Meanwhile, he will also add his private account.
Yes it can fly all things been equal.

Hi Qudkom,
It’s been a while, hope you are good.
Trying to reach you via our last means of contact.

Meanwhile, I would like to know if these documents will be required if it’s a company from UK or US
Hello, I am doing great. It's still the same output. A lot of questions will be asked;
1. What do you bring to the company that's leading them to sponsor you?
2. Why would they want to spend all that money on one person?
3. Will the directors, shareholders etc allow the company sponsor an individual etc...

If your father will also be using his personal savings account then it will fly. That way you're showing that your father as a reliable means if income and also savings to sponsor you

To begin with the chances of a visa officer getting convinced that a company will use their working capital to sponsor your education in Canada is extremely is extremely low.

On the contrary using company account requires CAC documents, tax documents, business licences etc...

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

What should I do next please?
Sorry about the refusal, try and order a gcms note. It could be generic sometimes but at least you can deduce some facts from it.

Regarding the personal asset and financial status, you probably used a 3rd party sponsor and also you didn't attach essential documents to show your financial status in Nigeria like assets, shares, financial documents, company documents etc...

You should also try to get enough documents to show your families deep rootedness in Nigeria

Good evening house please I'm lost in the air.... I got my LOA from loyalist College of Applied Art and Technology last year December and the payment deposit due date was 30th of January 2020, and I was able to make the payment by 23rd of January and got payment acknowledgement receipt by 27th of January. Please as I'm planning to apply for my study permit, I got to know that my LOA expired by 30th of January and I'm yet to apply for my study permit. Please do I need to request for a new LOA or I can still use the previous one to apply for my study permit. I'm confused my program start by September 9 2020 ( fall) cry cry
Simply send an email requesting for a deferral. But you must check if the program will take place in whatever semester you're differing to. The semesters include; Winter(January), Summer(May) and Fall(September) semesters.

Lastly, always familiarise yourself with the schools refund policy.

Please how do I apply for student visa with 5 months old baby, will they give me Visa?
I am to resume school by September.
Please how do I apply
Thanks

Regardless of the age of the child you need to provide documents showing your plans for your child in Canada which is usually daycare documents. And also specified funds for any accompanying family members.

Regarding if they'll give you the visa? There isn't any 100% guarantees with immigration. You must have to put your documents together and see how it all turns out. The only thing I am not sure off is travelling with a 5month old baby.

Kindly assist to list those schools and provinces.

Due to the large number of applicants requesting information on immigration only to three main provinces (Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia), I wanted to inform you that there are several opportunities for new immigrants to immigrate to smaller provinces in Canada as it is often an opportunity overlooked by many.

As mentioned the Government wanted to invite 1 million immigrants within the next 3 years, this was announced 2017 and this would be the last year of the project. So once the project ends everyone’s chances for immigration decreases significantly, if you wish to immigrate to Canada it would be this year as it may be the last year in which immigrants are in demand.

A few factors to consider are:

Accommodation is cheaper in smaller cities

Cities like Moncton, Halifax, Saskatoon can have excellent accommodation available for much cheaper prices.

The competition for finding a job is lower

I understand that finding employment is top priority. Smaller cities in Canada have an ageing population as most young Canadians move to larger cities where competition for jobs is higher. Many organizations are setting up offices in the smaller cities due to lower real estate prices and they consistently have requirements for skilled workers.

Quality of life can be significantly higher

Smaller cities have several recreational activities available for families. Due to the lower housing prices, travel times are shorter to work.

There are over 72 PNP programs available

The Federal Government of Canada has consistently been increasing quotas for smaller provinces as they want to encourage new immigrants and future Canadians to populate the smaller cities. This presents an opportunity as there may be lower competition in obtaining a quota for you.

Good evening all, please I need help. I am 40 years old and intend to apply to one of the colleges for a diploma course. My friend told me my age will disqualify me. I have a degree already, 2 Masters degrees and ACCA. I started a school business recently and I just finished my PGDE because I did not have any degree in education prior to the PGDE. I was not satisfied with the way I was taught and would like to give the school international standard. I have some capable hands but I also want to understand the principle of Early Childhood Education indept. I have searched for the course in all the universities but seems it is only offered as a diploma course. The truth is I don't Intend to stay after graduation ( how do I prove this ?)

Please can my age disqualify me?
Thanks.
The best route I'd you are education inclined is to apply for an msc program. There are various programs available in the field you want and the career options in Canada is extremely wide. Going for a PR might be difficult because of your age. If you can justify your home ties, proper financial portfolio then the sky is the limit.

Please, is an Advance Diploma(fast track) program same as a diploma or a postgraduate diploma? The program I'm about to apply for is an advance diploma program and it requires that I must have completed an undergraduate program in a related field unlike a diploma program that requires post secondary result only. I sincerely wish to know if it is advisable to apply for the advance diploma or find another post graduate diploma program(have searched for that particular course in PGD but haven't seen any school offering the course in PGD). Please guys, I really need your input and advice on this matter.
Thanks and God bless.
A diploma is a post secondary program while an advanced diploma is a post degree program. Which means you need to have completed a 3 or 4 years post secondary studies/degree to qualify for it.

P.s: A waec certificate can be used to apply for a diploma and a degree certificate for an advanced diploma.

Hello All,
I got my study permit application refused today due to:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, based on your personal assets and financial status.
I ordered my GCMS note already.
Any idea on when to expect my GCMS note?
I will also appreciate any help in tackling the above reasons.
Thanks in advance.
It takes 40days standard to get your gcms note. You probably didn't include or provide enough documents to back up your financial portfolio. Also did you make use of a 3rd party sponsor? If yes being able to provide a good link to show that the sponsor isn't just a random person with funds is also very important.

SAVE MY SOUL
Good day house I am a 19 year old fresh graduate from secondary school and I got an admission to university of Manitoba last year and I put in for my study visa application in November last year.

MY TIMELINE
Application online route through an agent -November 23
Biometrics -November 26
Biometrics validation letter -24 January
Refusal- 24 January
*based on family ties in Canada and home country
*based on financial assets and financial status

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED
-Standardized Admission letter
-Complete application forms
-International passport data page
-Sponsorship letter from a politician with SOA ending balance at 21M and has good turn over

*sponsor is not related to me but my uncles friend whom he had known for 20 years and this was stated in the sponsorship letter.

*No form of commitment was made like transfer of funds to my account towards the scholarship.

*The sponsor stated that I am a beneficiary of his initiative as a way to giving back to community but didn’t state how I was chosen for the scholarship.

NB : No Letter of explanation was written

I will like to reapply this month because my admission is still valid til September 2020, please house how do I tackle this ?

Hmm a 19yr old flagged for PERSONAL ASSET AND FINANCE. firstly, you need a detailed letter of employment explanation outlining your future career goals in reference to the personal asset clause. I wish you had the resources to pay your tuition for one year tuition.

Thank you so very much sir. I appreciate your contribution. My question hasn't been fully answered sir,

Is it compulsory that my employer should mention that I will have my job after studies. I have only been with the company for about two years.

Please help me answer this question everyone,
Is just a leave letter or leave approval sufficient?

Or the letter must mention that I will have a job after I am done studying.
Thank you everyone
Leave letter on a default show the date you're required to be back on duty. Which should be a month after your program elapses in Canada.

Hey guys i just got admission to manitoba for my masters, currently in the process of applying for visa.

So my dad is going to give me a loan of 10m from his company.

1)Pls, should he pay it into my account or not yet

2) what documents do i need to submit in regards to this loan?

Also i am a little confuse, is study visa different from the main visa? In other words, do i apply for study visa first, then get another visa before i travel?

Thanks guys
Your dad is a principal sponsor he doesn't need to pay anything into your account. You just need his financial portfolio. Also you are applying for a study visa when you get to Canada at the port of entry you'll then be given a study permit with a conditional work Permit. Do make sure you read the permit given you because sometimes the immigration officer forgets to add the conditional work permit which can prove to be an issue. After that you can then proceed to any Canada immigration office to get your SIN( social identity number). A friend of mine here in Canada had the issue with the immigration officer not applying the work permit and he couldn't work for 4months it was hell for a guy that was del sponsoring.

Hello everyone, please I want to ask a question from the open as I am currently in the process of putting my apps together.

I have been employed for about two years, since the completion of my nysc. Now, I'm gathering documents together for my Visa application.

Please, I want to enquire, do I need to get STUDY LEAVE from my employer.
I want to ask about the necessity of having a study leave from my employer.

Do I need my employer to write that they will give me job after my studies, bearing in mind that I have about 2years work experience with the company.

I want everyone that has related experience or have similar work experience, who have been successful with their visa to please contribute.

Do I need STUDY LEAVE
Do I need the STUDY LEAVE to say that I will have a job on return?

What do I need from my employer, specifically, please!
Documents you need from your employer;
1. Employment letter
2. Letter of introduction
3. Pay slips
4. Promotion letters*
5. Leave approval letter
6. ID card
7. Precious employment letter if you have etc...

P.s: most don't submit all and still get approved.

You have to find a way to plug those loopholes to boost your chances. You most likely don't have issues with, purpose of visit and finance. But finance and personal asset, home ties* can be a serious let down. You need to start by showing good accountability of your activities right from your undergraduate Years followed by a way to shoe that you've been actively evolved in developing your self both intellectually and work experience.

With an economic degree and an impressive cgpa you can definitely go for master's in supply chain management. Check mastersportal on Google to search for programs. You can also check provinces like new Brunswick, nova Scotia and new foundland for cheap schools that offer scholarship

Firstly, when is the resumption date on the admission letter and have you paid your tuition fees? The requirements are simply broken into ;
1. Education documents
2. Employment documents
3. Sponsor/financial documents
4. Proof of home ties among others.

However you need to ask your self basic questions like;
1. Do I have a sponsor?
2. My chosen program correlate or show progress with my previous qualification and work experience?
3. Do I have travel history and if not how do I cover up for this?
4. What's the province is I chose like?
5. Do you understand the basic policies and details regarding working and studying in Canada.most especially working to pay tuition.?

Attention: Justwise, Frank, Vibrant and all Canadian student visa gurus in the house.

Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please my lil cousin was offered PGC admission to study Information Technology for Spring(May) at Confederation College, Ontario, Canada. We have been so confused with the next steps to be followed given the raising rate of visa refusal at the Canadian Embassy.

Please my immediate questions would be?

1. is the application for study permit different from the application for student visa application?

2. At what stage, is he required to go for medicals and biometrics?

Thanks.
To answer your question, when you apply in Nigeria you're simply applying for a study visa. When you get to Canada at the first point of entry you will get the study permit at the counter from immigration officer. Note that the length of the study permit which also doubles up as a conditional work Permit cannot exceed the date of expiry of your current passport.

2. Biometrics is a default request for every applicant. You're required to go for it immediately after submission of visa application. Also note that medical can be done before submission and attached to the application or wait for the instruction from the visa office to go and do the medical exam at the designated hospitals.(kindly check the CIC website for the hospitals as this changes from time to time.)

Furthermore, are the documents for visa application to be sent to the Law firm in canada? Your response will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
To be honest, it doesn't matter who submits the visa application. There isn't any favoritism given to the agent or third party that submitted. Matter of fact a foreign lawyer will simply ask for default documents and doesn't know the detailed requirements, methods etc most Nigerian applicant utilise when submitting applications. I am here in Canada and I know this for a fact.all you get is a default to do list....

It's actually funny that you might be destined to be in Canada but the fact that you're scared of getting refused is impeding you. Even if you got refused there is always a way out. Dust your self and Prep your self to apply. Cheers

Please kindly help me clarify a few questions or if there is a link that gives insights to POF for study visas related questions , I would be happy if someone can direct me to it. I have been searching through previous parts and reading up but haven't seen specific answers. I don't want to just assume. I know U.K. doesnt accept siblings sponsor just spouse and parents but does Canada accept sibling sponsorship/writing to support study financially and including bank statements? If my fees and up keep amount is in my personal account, how many months bank statement are my mandated to provide? Is it a disvantage to apply alongside hubby and kids for MA Economics?
Finally, I keep seeing the POF requirement for express entry. Can anyone help with relevant info on how much I am required to have if children and spouse are accompanying for study or how to calculate it. Thank you so much

1. Your siblings can definitely sponsor you. However, if they will be doing that together with the fact that you wish to apply husband and kids then you're directly telling them WE ARE NOT COMING BACK

2. I will suggest you apply first and then apply for your husband via Open work Permit in the future.

3. The siblings sponsoring you will be closely evaluated based on their own individual dependencies. That is what's the propensity for them to cater for their needs and responsibilities and still sponsor you In Canada?

4. I really don't know how you intend doing this buy your husband needs to be able to provide some sort of sponsorship
