Abby2cute:NECO is recognised in a few schools. You might also need to apply as a mature student and make use of your work experience to boost your chances of getting an admission. Also try and apply for a skilled diploma program. 1 Like |

The school is located in a small city though but if you want to start in a small city then it's the right choice for you. There are so many Nigerians here by the way. 2 Likes |

odinkaru: You cannot get an in depth reason for refusal. You can only get default solutions to those refusals. When you list detailed documents you can get better advice's. On the contrary? 1. Where do you work plus salary? 2. Are you above the age of 27yrs and did you submit any personal financial documents. 3. What family documents did you provide |

Also for her age she needs serious proof of her work experience and a solid personal funds and assets also. Because Canada visa officers are something else 2 Likes |

tobiasbeecher:You seem to have a good thing going in a lot of ways; 1. You have travel history and apparently no record of breaking any immigration law 2. You have a very very active sponsor that as a history of sponsoring you so you just need to get the proof of this in addition to what you have. 3. I'll advice you gotl for a PhD program or restrain from declaring your msc so you can apply for a msc program if you apply for another msc program you might have issues with "purpose or visit with the VO not understanding why you need to come over to Canada" 4. If you try the study route you can apply for your family via open work permit and all. 1 Like |

wvictory: You have to have a very high CGPA plus apply early for the scholarships because it's highly competitive. About working at the point of entry you automatically get a conditional work permit that'll allow you work for 20hrs during school session and 40hrs during off sessions. p.s: if you plan to work to pay Tuition and all please ensure you have someone pay your first 2semesters or at least sponsor 60% if your first year expense so you don't get stuck when you get here. That's the reality of Canada. Working during school session (20hrs) is only good enough to pay for your living expenses. |

adigun98:The least you're going to get is an acceptance deposit between $500- $1500 but you'll still pay the tuition regardless. P.s: it's pretty much a waste of time coming into Canada and not enrolling fully in school. I can't count how many people have tried that and at your end get tracked down by the immigration. 1 Like |

adigun98: Bro the vivid truth is most people that come into Canada through the study route actually want to work. They just have to go through the study route because it's the easiest route to Canada. They get in and can establish themselves. For example you can do the normal part-time work of 20hrs and work full time of 40hrs during holidays. If you can withstand the pressure you can do other jobs like food delivery, uber etc to make extra cash. If you want to get married that's the easiest part. In terms of cheap schools you'll have to look beyond onatario and other popular provinces to get affordable fees. All the best and I hope you do what's right for yourself. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nkechi48: Only you can answer this questions you asked sincerely. However, this is my opinion; 1. Going to the UK; it is extremely expensive after which you get the two years work permit, but it is very difficult to convert that to a permanent residency going forward or finding a UK company to sponsor your work permit. 2. Canada express entry; With your work experience and IELTS you should be able to meet up with the requirement and get into the pool age and other social economic factors also considered*** the process can be long an tedious. 3. Study visa Canada; This remains the most popular route to Canada. With your experience you can come in and after a year try your luck and apply for PR. Also your experience in the banking industry will also help you get finance jobs here in Canada. Good luck 1 Like |

missnigeria: With your experience you should be looking at an advanced diploma program in accounting. As for your husband and kids you'll have to exclude them from your application so they can serve as your home ties. You can always apply for them to come and join you but that will cost you a lot of money in terms of proof of funds for a family of 4. If you had an msc degree I would have suggested express entry to begin with. I'll also advice that you look into provinces with decent living expenses and good immigration pathways like Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the likes. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Laurendee:They both have similarities. They are post graduate programs that require a post secondary qualification (Bsc). The post baccalaureate acts as a bridge to further graduate programs and also helps in adding extra credits to the previously acquired Bsc degree. It is most suitable for non-business degree holders who went to acquire knowledge in a business Field. For example engineering graduate who want to study business administration can do a post baccalaureate program. The Graduate Certificate is similar to an Msc program just a little streamlined, doesn't require a thesis and less expensive compared to an msc program. The 2 programs also guarantee a PGWP( Post graduate work permit) |

Donbigi2:I don't think you can really predict the outcome of the type of job you get during holidays. Almost everyone works fulltime during holidays (summer and winter) that also depends on the shifts you get. Regarding your program choice there are different schools. Use the "find masters" website and you'll find. |

tosiiNO:Sociology is a broad field. The field you decide to specialize in should be based on your supposed previous studies. You can choose specialized fields ranging from Public administration, Care giver programs, psychology, human resource management etc... You just have to find the perfect program and provide a good nexus between the program and your work experience in your SOP(Study plan) P.s: I'll advice you go for something related to care giving. It's a lot of money here in Canada. If you can come in and do small certificate programs in First Aid, CPR, food safe etc... Then you'll definitely get a good job. |

AKALAMAGBO: Your CGPA qualifies you for Diploma, Advanced Diploma and some graduate certificate program if you can prove you have enough work experience in your field. Also the IELTS will also count in your favor. P.s: I'll advice you apply for education programs in Colleges and try and check the competitiveness status of the program before hand. |
