n_delta: Would have! Not the president!,
Did you remember ITT and less I forget, The drowning of Containers carrying Bibles for the lost, he was responsible for that, I believe, if Abiola was President, then many Church would have been changed to M and Canaan land, Redeem Camp, Love world and many praying Camp would have been a dream not fulfilled. Good point. The man was as fanatic as they get with his Islam. He swore that he'll spread Islam all over Nigeria until the Al Koran is dipped into the Atlantic Ocean. Well, looks like God had a different plan. The cold hands of death snatched up his soul before his mission could be accomplished. |

StephenP: Naw dear, you're dead wrong.
Preach on. Sometimes doctors ask for nurses' opinions on what to do and how much to give the patient. That doctor needs to be stripped of their license will the nurse also bear part ofthe liability if she gives wrong advice ? a doctor asking a nurse how much to give a patient here in America or in Naija? that tells me how much you know all he could ask is perhaps how much the patient weighs every doctor has access to a desk or online PDR if you know what that means |

"More men are entering nursing as they discover that it is a competitive and challenging career. For example, when the University of Pittsburgh increased its admission requirements for its nursing program, the number of male applicants spiked significantly. Many men are also attracted to the profession after learning how important mathematics and science (fields traditionally dominated by males) are in nursing."
It has become even more challenging.
Did you really expect men to help in childbirth? The general emasculation of men I say. which mathematics does a nurse need. How to calculate the volume of urine? abegi |

onyinye2: You have no idea what you are talking about. Nursing is one of the hardest most rewarding profession there is. I'm in pre med, and i see what the kids who are becoming nurses go through. so sad. I'm thankful that i grew up around nurses and doctors, because they the ones that inspired me to become a doctor. Because the same people you guys make fun of are the ones who organize funds to send to the hospitals back in Nigeria. I don't see any one of all doing squat. I wonder why they didn't inspire you to be a nurse |

Chat2MeBac: Really? Well I spent a few days hospitalised at NYU last December and I had 2 white male nurses at my beck and call. I always noticed that there were ONLY 2 black male nurses on my floor. I am wondering if it's due to the stigma attached to such a profession, why our men would rather make minimum wage as bartender, or work construction toiling in the sun and cold, than earn a decent living wearin scrubs and husslin bed pans? were you a violent non compliant patient that needed restraint ? I wonder why they sent you males You're an exception |

onyinye2: Oka let me say this. If you are a nurse here, you have a job any where. The amount of money made is a blessing. All my naija friend's parents are nurses. And they all live in the best neighborhoods. Becoming a nurse is an accomplishment and worth it. I would encourage any one of my kids to become a nurse, doctor, or surgeon. so do ashewos does that make it a great profession for a female No wonder you're talking like this, all your male role models are nurses. as you encourage your kids to be nurses, encourage only Ada and Chinelo O not Emeka and Chima |

stillwater: Lol!!!!!! Nursing is a female profession period! How many male Oyibo nurses do you see? In Nigeria how many men go into nusing besides awusa people? If the tables were turned and we all decide to go home, which face will these men take to be answering nurses in Nigeria. It's good for economic reasons in America no doubt They need those Igbotic muscles to lift them 500 lb patients But it still remains a female profession A man running around with bed pans and pads in the postnatal wards? God forbid! |

I don't blame guys who go back to get married to the woman of their choice. When my cousin got married in 1987,her husband took her to the US to start a life. can you imagine that she later divorced this man after 3 kids because of her new found rights. What was her reason for divorce? She claimed she could not enjoy her marriage to him because he was always coming back late. Her husband is an aeronautical engineer who was doing everything to give her and the kids good life. What a shame. So i don't blame brothers who go back home. Though, there are still some women abroad who have not gotten influenced with the so called immorality and new found rights . @ bluehorizo, you just told us your cousins wife came from naija and changed and you are still advocating people go to naija and marry. My dear good women are good women everywhere no matter where you pick them from |

onyinye2: Nne, abeg go and submit your life to your husband. You don't get it do you? you told us you were born and raised Anglican, same here did you read about marriage in the Bible from the teachings of paul ? all those women lib stuff will only lead you to multiple marriages. If you're not ready to play by the rules of marriage then remain single. marriage is afterall not compulsory. Anyone that knows me here on Nairaland can tell that I'm not one to take abuse from anyone To submit to a husband is not to kneel and serve him his foo foo. You both submit one to another, that's what the Bible says and when there are differing opinion, you accord him the respect as the head of the household. I believe in divine order in marriage as stipulated by the BIble. And I've been in a loving relationship for years now and have no plans of changing it. |
