the more i read the less the story makes sense, so there is a naming ceremony for a woman who has no food and has been taking gluscose, all those of you reporting her dilenma havent been able to get her food? plus she is breastfeeding but she has given the child to someone to look after till it is decided if shes going to look after the child- despite the fact she is actually a student of a private school (ignoring the case of the missing schoolfees) who puportedly carried around a pregnancy for 8 months undetected. on top of all this we are to treat her like an orphan who has no parents? the whole thing reeks of scam, sha sha- continue- tis elementary my dear nlers! lmao |
seriously? so if i blow some people up will he dialogue me a million pounds? whathappened to 'we do not negotiate with terrorists'? o i forgot its only in america, besides they go around the world blowing up innocnet people instead. |
ur a jowka! lmao ![]() |
yes last page- in YOUR household according to YOUR principles but not written in any book or carved in any stone! just because YOUR tradition has laid that foundation for every one of its women doesnt mean its the way, the truth or the light. If you and your partner have agreed she will sit at home and care for the kids while you work then thats your agreement. Doesnt mean every woman must sit at home while her husband works. in the 21st century and as a 21st century individual, i dont believe my husband MUST pay all bills because i also do not believe i was created to be domesticated, im not a household pet and have no intentions of sitting at home and doing anything. i will take no ownership over any kitchen or its utensils unless its a wine bar or a beer kitchen and neither will i leave all the bills on the table awaiting his payment. We will do all things and make all decisions TOGETHER, imho if most nigerian women adopted this rule they will not find themselves in the hell they call marriages! they shouldnt even deny it most of the marriages i have observed esp in yoruba households are bloody hell! |
is Uju pregnant for real? wow how time has passed on this nl! |
sexkillz:Ok at this point i realise im arguing with someone who has no point. You asked the responsibilities as a wife- i told them to you, what else is your problem? Who owns the kitchen? Are you joking me? I cannot continue- im sorry i will also agree to disagree with you too. |
so her primary responsibility is to cook? ok- lets agree to disagree and leave it at that, sexkillz:just saw this- lets lay aside the word duties and replace with 'responsibilities as a parent' i dont feel as if these responsibilities are sex specific, there are single mother and fathers everywhere playing the role so its obvious your sex doesnt determine what you must do in the house. I believe my responsibilities together with my husband are to take care of OUR children pls note the key words here This will involve providing for them financially, giving them love care, providing an education and blah blah blah. This will be shared between me n my husband and we will take on whatever is convinient. Compromise maybe, sacrifice likely so- queensmith sitting in a kitchen cooking a meal everyday HELL NO! |
lol- there is also rumour of him disobeying her broda sha oo- so i will be careful if i were you. |
i beleive some men- and women like the abuse. |
freecocoa: |
lastpage:tis not a 'wifes responsibility', tis the female physiological burden. that cannot be helped. I didnt read the paragraph after wifes primary duty- excuse me but id rather just agree to disagree with you on that one. this is the 21st century i believe, thats the ages i currently live in, will advise you to do the same! |
^^ cant dictate the future but yes I plan on getting married and having my own nuclear family-point please? he's english/ we may or may not have a traditional (we most likely will because i want to wear my fancy clothes) we dont pay bride price in my culture and its likely my parents will buy the gifts the groomspeople present themselves so everything is line with the fancy decorations. point please? again we dont exchange money for children in my culture, we dont sell women again no bride price so what is your point please? |
freecocoa:OP may i please have a pincture of the baby please? just to ogle over and say awwwwwww shes soo cute ![]() |
^^ not neccesarily i was making a joke. . . . . . . . . . .seems men are not big on jokes here. . . . . im off! |
^^ i take my comment back after the 'i maintain its a wifes primary duty' i no longer live in those ages ![]() |
^^ help with what exactly- is it not help all the ladies here are doing and its turning to something else? can i not just see bebe pics i wanna see the baybay its safe to assume poster probably wants to take advantage of those that are helping her to also get money. its not uncommon with the way *ehems* are. I also honestly beleive u cannot continue to run around her without informing her parents. its also borderline dangerous. if her story is true then a student has dissapeared from school. |
sexkillz:inclined? erm nobody is legally bound to doing anything in a family |
this is where being a nigerian becomes interesting. . . . . slightly entertaining. I like how this has turned from disaster into full fledged drama. Stephen Speilberg needs to get on this asap. meanwhile, is it too much to ask a photo of the little baby? wanna see cute she is ![]() |
i beleive it will make more sense to close down the religous section and have the 'men of god' discussed in the business section. those of us that wish to make money need to tap into the undeniably incredible talents these men have. those that are bothered about the moral outcome of the situation can remain in the religous section to discuss religion. . . . . til the soo call jesus comes. |
^^ if you all talk too much he will kolumbi ur sister in a minute! |
do you need a place for a baby? i need to go back and re-read this |
seriously? is he speaking with his mouth or typing with his fingers? how dare he even assume any sort of moral highground over fela? mshew. on a lighter note- if akon can do it he can do it. but he should know he's a man that lacks moral integrity sleeps around without protection and probably has hepatitis! :p |
this story seems interesting but the op has been deleted, can someone fill me in? |
did you say he is rich? so what is the problem? he must not be rich if he is still short in your eyes. even akin and pawpaw have grown 6ft because they stand on the cash in their pockets. you better tell him to buy u better eyesight! good luck with all that! |
i responded to this by rollin over my chair lmao! |
But a man expecting the woman to cook all the time is not taking her for granted? Its not a role for one sex unless the woman has specifically been employed for the kitchen! This is what i dont get? |
And the evidence is ![]() ??, i guess we have it thenLove doesnt exist @op good luck with all that |
Can anyone explain why it has been soo difficult to erase the ghost workers? Isnt it as simple as taking attendance in the office and noting roles? Or having civil servants take social security numbers Or firing everybody and letting them reapply for their jobs? Its like every little issue is difficult to tackle in that country i will never understand it? |
Kilode? Im just asking! Not to say that maybe some do but he mentioned oyibos and im wondering if both he and his spouse are of nigerian heritage! |
I dont think so. I dunno where my own jealous streak comes from. I think its a peer thing. Im getting rid of it ,my man isnt bothered and seems to trust me so i should be the same. Jealousy is only a problem because there is no trust. Your partner should never make you feel jealous of anything. |
Well i dont expect anyone on this forum to say otherwise tosinville; i will agree love exists when yoou present me evidence of the fact. #thatisall. Without evidence absence is assumed. |
