kmt, then you will hear dave cameron and nicholas sarkozy lament about humanitarian efforts! kmt bunch of hypocritical fools! |
Slyr0x:this is truly disheartening, I keep hearing bad upon worst about the way things are done in this country and nobody seems to want to initiate change besides running for government office! |
so all the above concludes it!! the FG isnt serious at all about improving power supply because under the pretense of getting it fixed and handing out contracts they are simply filling their pockets! no doubt with billions of dollars from gasoline money! Now what are we going to do about it?? |
CIMTHOG:why do u say that? there are bigger countries with more people more industries higher demands and less resources that supply constant electricity? so how will it be impossible for it to be done in Nigeria? Statements like these will only fuel the government with more excuses. |
^^ why is that so? that doesn't even make any sense, and nobody has questioned this move? why will the government intentionally favor monopoly in a country with record high unemployment rates? i'll understand if importing cement was banned altogether since we have the resources to produce it locally, but unless cement is also used to make dangerous weapons I dont see these special permissions helping anybody?? |
Afghanistan is the most corrupt country even with all the US troops in it? so what are they still doing there then? kmt. I really hope Ribadu doesnt sell himself out on this mission. I heard the UN runs alot of ish from afghanistan. . . . Ribadu has just been placed between a rock and a hard place with the worlds most powerful people. Lets see if he'll turn out to e a hero or a puppet just like the rest of them! |
^^ 'capacity to import' meaning permission. . .or that these companies just have the money and the resources? |
^^ oboii, forgive me for my ignorance. . . . but cant someone just import cement from libya? wouldnt that make good business? |
whats the best way of getting something to my village in ekt? i dont mind paying but i dont want anyone to collect money from the other side. that will piss me off! |
right up my alley! lol independent all the way!!!!!! Depending on the area you live a state school can be very detrimental to your childs education and social welfare. Sending your child to an independent school gives him/her opportunities you will NEVER find in state schools. Nepotism is far from extinct esp here in the UK. Private schools cover wider activities, syllabuses, travel, subjects and the whole. You will never regret sending your child to a private school! Sending your child to state school is a gamble down here. No2 you want to ignore ofsted reports, they are bias and uninformative, ofsted have a way of exaggerating little differences and playing down MAJOR issues in schools. In regards to the actual school you want to send your child, you need to get to know parents that have done the same. I feel the most reliable way is checking the ideal secondary schools and where most of the best students attended. Trust me theres always a common 1. It also has to be mentioned primary school is vital for your childs social network, I am sending my children to private schools to ensure he/she is around those I wont mind them emulating. debosky:looool look at this one!!! even in my early 20s with ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA on who I plan to marry, I've already started making applications to secondary schools on behalf of my 3 unborn kids!! (i know i sound crazy!!) but heard rumours of 10 year waiting lists and unfortunately i dont know any saudi Arabian monarchs! |
because making a child laugh brings one joy growing up, education or wisdom can never give! |
The FG hasnt been serious for the past 50 years, i dont see why they'll be serious now. We shouldnt anticipate anything, neither should we respond to promises. . . . actions speak louder than words! |
WOW nigerians are truly something else! Well since you people dont want him im sure ghana will be ready to receive him with arms wide open. Nairalanders representing and educated segment of the masses dont seem to understand the importance of having a popular billionaire from your country. I suggest he starts investing in other areas of Africa, like the libyans will soon understand ingratefulness shouldnt be rewarded! |
why would anybody shoot his own wife? are you sure these men are not mentally ill? |
Seriously is that true? How long did it take b4 soilders were deployed to the problem areas? Wow this is a huge conspiracy! |
inec should be dealing with this. . . . . NOT the president!! |
This sort of news reporting is an indirect cause of Nigerias tribal wars |
Nsiman:It means im disappointed in the president for being silent about the murders committed after the elections yet employing all avenues of investigation on alleged election rigging! It makes no sense! It shows he has no concern for anything but remaining in power! I dont disagree- with the right lawyers buhari can be jailed and hanged for inciting violence and since it was known they were chanting sai buhari, the courts can conclude they were his political thugs and hold him responsible for all the deaths. He will be soo busy fighting numerous counts of mass murder and genocide no one will even remember this nonsense of a case!
Nice way to start o clueless one
youve said it all! |
We cant have a country of numerous tribes, languages and cultures- and then be trying out best to seperate them! that makes absolutely no sense! so instead of making corpers serve in thier own states, they might as well scrap the programme and if they have to scrap the programme, it will be the very first obvious indication of Nigeria being a failed state. After that they might as well start seriously talking about dividing the country. I think the initial approach to this should be building a very nice looking prison akin to guantanamo and getting ready to pack all sorts inside it, young old and otherwise. Discipline is needed in that area, let them whack a few that think its acceptable to initiate genocide in this day and age! |
revomind:Do you honestly believe that? Is it the first time children are used to rig elections? omenala:Sharrap! In the end its YOU guys that will be complaining! no light no fuel no food no money no books no schools no this no that! Haba! Theres no satisfying you people, im here in the comfort of a beautiful country taking uneeded concern over my ethnic origin and its responses like these that put me off completely! kmt. 'Eni ti a gbawe fun to jeun osan' im not suprised prominent Nigerians set up shop abroad and only come home to rid you of your resources and steal more money! why dont you open your eyes for once and see beyond the limited sense you have! Kmt @mcd4real - i was hoping for some sort of change, or is that seriously too much to ask?? Theyve paid more attention to that rabid animal called buhari than they have to the murderous tribalists roaming northern nigeria? Wheres the forensic investigations for that?? I seriously dont understand these people!!!! |
Seems Jonathan will rather spend his time defending his votes than seeking justice for those murdered in the post election riots. Talk about misplaced priorities!! Ahead of legal battlesource http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/05/jonathan-alleges-6m-fraudulent-votes-for-buhari/ |
^^ i will certainly do so, but if ARIS really exists then why dont they do anything?? @10cirenoh, dont let our politcal opinions divert the topic at hand, I have no interest in praising anyone that hasnt shown me any benefit. What have these politicians you mentioned done for anybody in Nigeria? @cap28- it makes sense, some of the US cables leaked by wikileaks confirmed the libyan rebel group is lead by a US puppet. Us not being united is because the govt hasn't made an effort to bring us all together. Even by simply making it compulsory for every Nigerian to spk at least 3 local languages will enable us to appreciate our cultures and bring us together. Nigeria is disintegrating at an alarming rate, to an extent that we celebrate peaceful yet highly suspicious elections! |
I take it they didnt return the bodies to the family? |
jay bee:protesting seems to work nowadays! the only think we need to ensure is whatever leader we get hasnt been conditioned by 'the masters' the last election showed us we lack trues visionaries to move the country forward Jonathan being the best out of a bad bunch. I think we should start weining individuals for leadership from now. young and old! |
^^ think about it for a minute- i know you say that out of anger at the way africans behave but please take a minute to think it out. How cheap is life in london? How accesible is everything? how affordable are things? esp the things we dont produce! there is a very well established theory that says- only vertain races should enjoy benefits of resources because only they have the initiative to use them. The more you look at the situation around the world, the more sense it makes. How much value will you put on most of these resources? refined or otherwise were being bumped here meehn! big time!!! |
yes, but i dont think its stops at the nigerians in high places, i think the westerners benefit from keeping africa down! then again i dont think we need anybody in a high place to do anything, we put them there didnt we? we can simply take them out? |
jay bee:oooooo i see, so the oil is then refined abroad well then, why dont we then build more refineries? since other countries can refine enough for triple the demand? this all sounds very simple to me imo |
^^ but we can refine enough to meet the demands of other countries?? why do we ship oil when we dont have enough for ourselves? |
^^^ I googles ARIS and didnt find anything about them- where is the base? I'm only beggining to understand this, do people also know its cheaper to buy oil in europe and the us than it is to buy in Nigeria!! does that even make any sense! considering the fact that oil is a much more valuable commodity here than back home where its made! @cap28 your right, gadaafi might have been tyranical but he will never allow his people to be violated by th eus! |
abeg, all of you are wasting your time. . . . .the US are now finding ways to commit those who disagree with his bullshit as *mentally deranged* dont bother yourself trying to teach these people anything, allow the US to continue bumfu**ing them and their 'democratic president'. Gadaffi has done more in his autocratic rule than Nigeria has in the past 50 years! JUST ASK A LIBYAN! meanwhile we should open up another thread discussing these things, with the US setting up almost 1000 bases around the world theres no doubt something BIG is happening soon. |
