Romance › Re: How Much Are You Willing To Change: ? by queensmith: 11:16pm On Feb 06, 2011
not willing to compromise anything important to me for romance- not willing to change anything either

then again im trying to look at it from the other side, for example i dont like ear piercings or too much bling on a man, will it make sense for him to remove such for me?

when it comes to things like religion or beliefs then its a whoole different level. Many people think to truly be a christian you have to attend church every sunday and consult the pastor of every aspect of your life- not gonna happen
I cant bend my opinions of anything esp God for a partner. things like that should be kept as a private practice
Christianity Etc › Re: Christians Protecting Muslims During Their Prayers In Egypt by queensmith: 3:41pm On Feb 05, 2011
to be honest it makes sense- its nothing to do with religion. They are all the same ethnically. The same can happen if a tribe of yorubas were unlawfully attacked by religious militants. We fight for ourselves regardless of religion.

What is happening in jos is an ethnic battle rather than a religious one- igbos dont care much for christianity, but they dont take shit from nobody. Theyll give you what you give them in 10-fold.

For some to now insinuate that the way the igbo's are behaving is representative of a christian nature truly baffles me, if anything its the total opposite. Muslim militants are known all over the world to simply bully communities with no retaliation. The igbos are simply showing you they cannot be bullied.
Christianity Etc › Re: Christians Protecting Muslims During Their Prayers In Egypt by queensmith: 5:55am On Feb 04, 2011
they have all been working together recently during the protests, its heartwarming to see soo much love between people of different religious backgrounds- although I personally think religion should never be a divider. Man has made it so.

the problem they are having in egypt is political, although if you think with a reasonable brain who will want to live under islamic rule?? and be having peoples heads cut off left and right!

respect to the egyptians boiii! we are all giving life as a gift an need to demand freedom from those who try to take it from us!

I thought I said lesbians disgust me?

The "action" does nothing for me personally. And even if it did, I don't see how that changes anything.
just curious- u dont need to bite my head off!
tensor777:
And what have you just said. I already told you to nstay out of this debate as you are fond of sentiments.
So to you a man sleeping consensually with a post pubescent teenager is perverted. What is perverted about sex and procreation dearie? Or have you totally lost it
Or maybe to please you he should stick with menopausal woman. huh
what post pubescent teenager?? get over yourself, im sure u didnt see me write post pubescent teenager
i stated very clearly the word CHILD and dont give a toss if its consensual or not its still disgusting!
you are clearly a very distorted person, with a filthy and evil mind and in an ideal world its ones like you that should be murdered in alleyways
at least for the safety of my own children!

How can you justify men having sex with children?? and preach all sorts on others?
Politics › Re: Uganda Gay Rights Activist David Kato Killed by queensmith: 7:10pm On Jan 30, 2011
Sagamite:
Because it is less understandable as a man myself and more disgusting somehow on the disgust totem pole. Seeing a man trying to behave like a women and being over affection is disgusting and odd. Women at least are known to be and expected to be affectionate.

When I see lesbians together I do feel disgust.
and girl on girl action??
what do you have to say to this

tensor777:
All these things you are mentioning have absolutely nothing to do with the topic of perversion.
What has the political struggle between blacks and whites in USA got to do  with  faggotts and other sex perverts?? Nothing
What has evil violation got to do with granting rights  to faggotts to adopt children. Nothing
What has early marriage  in some sharia states got to do with filthy disgusting faggottry. Nothing
here we go! now i think your the one that has to leave because you lack sense

how is an old man that likes to have sex with children any less perverted than one that likes to have sex with men??
how is it not ok to have sex with a consenting adult and ok to rape children?
hehehehe if tensor ruled the world!

i gave you examples of social norms and rules- they arent always for the benefit of the people are they?
so you can rethink your soo called opinions on rules governments and civilisation

people should be free to do what they like- regardless of what you think!
Politics › Re: Uganda Gay Rights Activist David Kato Killed by queensmith: 6:22pm On Jan 30, 2011
where are these soo called sentiments tensor keeps lamenting abt anyways?? if anything you are the one being sentimental here abeg!
tensor777:
Well we can't pursue life based on unrestrained hedonism. Human beings were not fashioned to live like that talk less of the society as a whole.
We must have rules norms and regulations that govern the conduct of each individual member of society. Without that there would be no civilization and the law of the jungle would prevail.
Anyway faggottry has always been taboo in disparate cultures and civilizations because the very nature of the act is disgustingly repellent and a breach of public health,
talk less of being a breach of common sense and common decency.
people can pursue any life of which they please! One thing you should understand is that the conformity and lack of creativity at large in africa is the very reason why africa is soo backwards

Do you listen to yourself at all?? I doubt hitler sounded any different,
lemme give you some examples rules, laws and conducts
abt 200 years ago- it was abnormal and illegal for a black man to receive an education or a decent paying job in america
It will have been absurdley abnormal for a black man to run for any political position talkless of presidency
In saudi arabia, its abnormal and illegal for a woman to walk the streets without a man
In south africa- its normal for a child to be raped
In nigeria, its normal for a 60 year old man to marry a 15 year old girl
How normal are technological advances?

I suspected that you would get sentimental here but to be fair its not as he was lynched or anything like that.
In the grand scheme of things it's not even important as everybody dies in the end.
But we do have a responsibility to live right whilst on earth. It is part of what being a human being is all about.  angry angry
IMO- according to my own philosophy- I see life as a gift, do with it as you please live it how you want.

I dont see why ANYBODY should be oppressed or forced to conform to things they dont believe in

If your attracted to men, THATS YOUR PROBLEM NOBODY ELSES! Nobody else has a right to tell you jack!

Its your responsibility to do what you want so long as you dont affect others while your doing it!

I wasnt given my life for you didnt get out of bed this morning for you and wont go to sleep at night for your benefit!

I said ideal, root of ideally. I meant staying with a partner in such a situation sounds very noble but how practical is it?@bolded,Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!
im unfamiliar with the context u used, anyways
Atreides:
Back to your example, sure i'd take care of my father because i love him. But i'm not in love with him
lol- american television is very bad for your brain
Atreides:
I said ideal, root of ideally. I meant staying with a partner in such a situation sounds very noble but how practical is it?@bolded,Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!
Back to your example, sure i'd take care of my father because i love him. But i'm not in love with him-i wouldn't love him the way i'd love a guy and so the way my dad's illness would affect me is verra diff from the way my boyfriend's own would affect me. I don't think staying with someone out of pity is right for any party involved-i mean i would prolly end up resenting him or something. So if we were just dating,i think i would sit down and consider it very thoughtfully. I didn't sign up for that and i dont want to be heroic and suffer in silence for the rest of my life. I'd also have to consider how severe his injuries are. Would we be able to have s.ex? I dont know about you but if i abstain from it until marriage(which i plan to do),when i do get married he'd damn well better be able to do it and do it right. After not doing for all these years i plan to enjoyit to the fullest extent possible in my marital home. Would we be able to have kids? I love kids and i don't know whether i'd be able to give that up. If we were married, then that's different-i took a vow before God and man to stand by him through thick and thin and that-my vows, marriage,it's sacred to me and i plan to honor those vows. I guess i wouldn't know for sure if i could stick with a boyfriend, but ideally,i'd stick with my husband.
Im not talking abt casual dating or a dude u met yesterday
im talking about a partner, someone you have decided to spend the rest of your life with
someone you claim to love or someone you believe loves you could be a bf could be a husband
absolutely nothing to do with pity, love doesnt become pity overnight
Also depends on why most people get married, if you marry with the sole intention of having sex, then i dont see the point in marrying at all
lemme use myself as an example- the only reason I will marry someone is because I love him
nothing more nothing less- dont need to be married to have sex, have kids or anything else for that matter
same for my parents my family, i do what i do out of love and not out of pity
so sticking with your husband simply because you want to 'honour your vows' in my opinion is foolish
what if he beats you? cheats on you? maltreats your children?

. Ugandans have every right to repudiate faggottry and other perversions and don't really need to justify it to anyone. WRONG IS WRONG.
no- they dont

who died and made you morality decider? wrong according to who? measured by what?
every action, esp those that result in the murders and oppression of innocent people need to be justified!
if you want to stop people from living how they please HAVE A GOOD REASON FOR IT!

you not being comfortable with it isnt good enough!
tensor777:
It is the insiduous Western-inspired pro-faggott lobby trying to force their agenda down the throats of Ugandans who are noted for their conservative Christian views.
What right have these evil perverts got to force their repellent views into the public arena?
there are many gays in uganda- whether or not you have noticed, and they have rights just like everyone else in the country
not everybody has conservative Christian views
it really makes no difference what you think about him, so long as he's harming no-one he didnt have to die!

adconline:
Anyway it is really none of your business if the Ugandans are rich or poor. They do have an inalienable right to totally repudiate this perverted practice from their lands.
Any brainwashed activist that does not like that should just take a walk.

What a moronic display of idiocy,  they do have an  inalienable right to repudiate a sexual lifestyle, but dont  have the same right to fight for economic equality. Their president has been in for over 25yrs and he appointed his wife as as  a cabinet minister.

It's my business to question their economic status, since we are talking about morality. Why  would you not go against someone who has made your life poor and choose to go against someone whose lifestyle doesn't in any way hurt you?
They are poor, because their oppressor is the ruling class, not homosexuals. What's the correlation between homosexuality  and Poverty in Uganda? NONE. What's the correlation between political leadership and poverty in Uganda? millions. From  Obote,Idi-Amin to Museveni  all hugely contributed to great economic problems in the country. Uganda's real enemy is the ruling  class  that has passed poverty from generation to generation.

Why is it their moral value to condemn and maim gays while it's not in their same moral value to kill and condemn their leaders who rule with iron fist?

How does killing a gay activist improve their living conditions? Zilch. How does protesting against Museveni's leadership improve their living conditions? Go figure in Tunisia and Egypt,
*standing ovation*

word!

Righton:
Uganda has been among the rare HIV success stories, one of the reasons being openness.[35] In the 1980s, more than 30% of Ugandan residents had HIV; this had fallen to 6.4% by the end of 2008, the most effective national response to AIDS of any African country

In 2000, Uganda was included in the Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) debt relief initiative worth $1.3 billion and Paris Club debt relief worth $145 million. These amounts combined with the original HIPC debt relief added up to about $2 billion. In 2006 the Ugandan Government successfully paid all their debts to the Paris Club, which meant that it was no longer in the (HIPC) list.

Suppose the Ugadans do not want to become "London". There is a trade off for most things. Suppose the preservation of their way of life is more important than a rapid increase in GDP. BTW the Ugadans have received more commendation than most countries for their battle against HIV/AIDS. Perhaps their commendable stance against homosexuality is part of the strategy fro curtailing HIV prevalence.

And the argument that until ALL their problems (including natural disasters) end, they must tolerate an idea that will snowball into huge social and economic problems in the future to fester is silly

Ugadans have the right to hate homos and their deadly lifestyle
thats better- keep your responses like this and we can have an interesting discussion!

I will completely understand if the sole reason for this 'battle' is to prevent aids but its not.

There is alot of homosexuals in that country ALOT! an abnormally high amount! If anything their way of life may actually be much different from the way me and you know it! The last story i read a man was prostituting himself to treat his mother and sister who were HIV positive and he also caught the disease in the process.

Nobody should live under another mans opinions, or another mans rules. The worst is that this whole stint was started by soo called men of God!

how will homosexuals snowball into anything?? how exactly do they affect you? state this very clearly so i can understand!

Is it everything act consented to by adults that are bad?

What about Suicide? Again what if someone asks you to take his/her own life, even under written agreement?
Do you think one would go free if found to have taken another's life even in mutual agreement?

Thats just one of it,  Much as I dont support killing of any gay person, I still think that homosexuality is a perverted lifestyle and people should understand when others comapre it with paedophilia or Necrophilia.

Problem now is that homosexuals as of now have louder voice to push their cause and paedophilia or Necrophilia is frowned upon by the society.

No one should tell me with the way things are going, no one should tell me that in a very long time to come, paedophilia or Necrophilia rights will not be even louder.
Its really funny you should say that- there are groups that are pushing for acceptance of 'love between young boys and grown men'
pedophillia is accepted in africa isnt it?? or where else can a grown man sleep with a 12 year old and not fear prison?
when u really think of it necrophiliacs are doing no one any harm?? so maybe one day they will be accepted! ( the idea is hilarious)

but yes homosexuality is a perversion, but since its not harming anybody they should be left alone! people dont have to like it  undecided undecided they just have to live with it!
