You have to think about what life will be like when you are 40 and she is 52, though. Or you 50 and she 62. Right now while she is still young, it might seem OK to you. But once age hits a woman, it hits her hard undecided (no offense intended to anybody here, just keeping it real.)
be more specific, how exactly will age hitting hard affect their relationship? what will be the difference between it hitting hard when hes 40 or hitting hard when he's 52? Im just curious because I know people approach things they dont understand without thinking deeply about it so im wondering if you have? specify exactly how the age difference will affect either of them?
In the short terms things wouldn't be bad. She can even have kids up until age 40 (though the risk @ 37, 38 is way higher than having kids at 22 or 25.)
Well like you said, she can still have children, women have children well into old age its not unheard of and even if she doesnt they can always adopt, you can still marry a 22 or 25 year old and not be able to have children? is it not so?
The only I am saying is that most men do not mature before they are well into their thirties and most women in the thirties already have an idea what they want in life so do not be surprised if the relationship seems more like mother and son, if you are not on her level mentally or financially.
I wouldnt say most men do not mature, Men mature more slowly than women the same age, so a 25 yo man will still be very mature, just probably not as mature as a 25 yo woman. Regardless they havent been dating for long but the fact they are even dating shows they have the right form to be in a relationship I dont see how a 37yo can be a mother to a 25 yo one bit! She will have more experience and I think that will probably work to the relationships advantage- ive seen soo many times where men actually prefer dating older women!

Good one queens. Tnx. I would hav taken ova her sponsorship, but my means are limited. Anything u tink she can engage in?
you dont neccesarily need to sponsor her if you cant afford it i guess, i know things are really hard back home but if she cant afford a further education you can encourage her to start looking for work, at least if she works for a year or 2 she can sponsor herself through a further education and you may then be in a position to help.
She can also start learning all sorts of trade that can make her money, dont limit yourselves to anything just because your young, anything is still possible!

Romance › Re: Can She? by queensmith: 1:13pm On Jan 08, 2011
There are alot of homes like that unno, where everyone is out of control except one. If she isnt like the rest right now, its probably because she already knows better so you wont have to worry about her changing.
But you can express your fears to her and still try and keep an eye on her like you would your sister, once she sees you really care and appreciate her for not being like her sisters. It will encourage her to keep a clean life.
Alot of things change in a persons heart when theres loss in the family, so refrain from keeping a judgemental tone when talking about her sisters because you dont know what they have been through or what they had to do to survive. Respect them regardless and understand that your friend has someone important missing in her life- fill the gap as much as you can and make sure she knows you care.
also keep her in your prayers
gd luck

I dont think you should make anyone marry you. If hes not ready to commit then you should probably start fearing for your future. for all you know he may have absolutely no intentions of marrying you!

but to answer your question you can talk to him about it, threaten you will leave him if he doesnt start showing his commitment soon

no1 his friend probably just thought he could go to Nigeria and simply pick up a woman without knowing her! isnt that what they do in america now?
no2 you and your girl have been together over a decade, but do you really know her? do you really love her? why do yu think she waited for you?
I think you should marry her and not bother about what may have happened to your friend, you probably dont know the whole story, how do you know your friend wasnt maltreating her the minute she stepped i the US simply because he brought her there? that happens too!

Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Chris Charges Gate Fees For Watch Night Service? by queensmith: 11:59am On Jan 08, 2011
for those who truly believe charging was done to control the amount of people that come quit deceiving yourselves

You decided to charge to take advantage of the fact that people will still stupidly pay to attend!
Crowd control can be done in a number of ways; what this church has basically done is say; only the rich can attend this service!
why was charging the first thing that was thought of? why couldnt the church distribute wristbands instead? why did you not think of printing a limited number of tickets? must you charge for everything?
I know there are alot of things churches nowadays charge for but this one takes the biscuit!
I feel for members that continue to pay in the delusion they are receiving any sort of spectacular blessing, salvation is free and true men of God are extinct!
better pick up your bible and preach to yourself!

MOBO, why are you soo stupid? everything that comes from you is senseless. you chat soo much shit i doubt youve ever left you village in wherever the Bleep you come from!
I highly doubt you will survive 2 days i a foreign country cos your mind is full of trach! I advise you to go and get yourself an education, illiteracy for you is a disease!
Christianity Etc › Re: Pressure On Offerings And Thanksgiving Offerings. by queensmith: 5:26pm On Jan 07, 2011
I think the church should highlight the importance of giving without barraging the congregation unnecessarily, its not by force- you have to give with your heart. The rewards and consequences are down to you and not the pastor.
But people should remember that its the offerings that keep the church going, like using any voluntary service if nobody is contributing it cant go on. People should look at the works that thier church is doing so they can be assured its not simply hopping into a pastors pocket.
Romance › Re: Few Months To Our Introduction And I Fear She Is Cheating On Me by queensmith: 5:18pm On Jan 07, 2011
Meldrick:
What broke my heart was when she removed my name from the updated status on facebook and she claims we should not announce it yet till married. She prefers the status of ''in a relationship'' alone.
Someone who will be ready to talk to me till midnight but now when we talk for three minutes, She asks how Iam and how was work today? The next thing she says, she wants to go and sleep.
The fact she doesnt want people to know shes with you is suspicious, when your truly with somebody and your serious about the relationship you will want everyone to know. esp when you plan to get married. if you have also noted changes in her attitude you shouldnt ignore them. Look at the way she is now and ask yourself if this is the woman you truly want to marry- knowing very well her attitude can change.
I can say as a woman that it sometimes happens, she may not love you as much as you love her, but not want to let you go because she fears she wont find someone else. Meaning you are in her life as a substitute, its better you marry a woman that can love you as much as you do her.
Romance › Re: Few Months To Our Introduction And I Fear She Is Cheating On Me by queensmith: 4:11pm On Jan 07, 2011
Hold off the introduction, dont marry a woman your not sure of. your family will understand, what matters is your long term happiness.
your fiance does sound like shes up to something, esp since she had a problem updating your relationship on fb, sometimes little things are the signs that there may be a big problem.

even with what they showed, obviously hes not the most likable person personality wise but he has his life in a good place- he enjoys his rapping there is nothing wrong with that, this is how all famous rappers start out but I wont because of that brand him as lazy or irresponsible

cheesy cheesy cheesy
Responsible guy ke huh Each to their own sha.
The guy lives at home with his parents, sleeps all day. At 27, he is still rapping up and down the whole place hoping to be discovered. I doubt his "successful business" can sustain him were he to stay alone not to talk of if he decides to marry.
Now if you want to talk responsible, the Olu guy is very responsible and very young
is that what you got from the show? you might need to watch it again!
he lives at home because his parents dont want any of them to move out until they are married
if u paid attention u will know he was living with his girlfreind when he thought he got her pregnanat, I can assure you ayo will have no problem looking after himself, he is known for what he does and is very succesful with it! The whole point of being self employed is choosing how you work, whether he decides to work all day and sleep at night is his choice, so long as the job gets done!
His rapping is his hobby, might not be my style but i wont take that away from him, at least he has a job! an enjoys what hes doing!
they are all responsible and have done well for themselves, olu is also very lovely i know olu well and thats why hes described as the 'goldenboy'

ooo i dunno about ur universe of superheroes!

but in this country- getting a degree followed running a successful business that generates sufficient profit is a great achievement!
whether he does it part time or not ( and i really dont think he does) is irrelevant. what matters is that hes making money! he does look after his family and defend his siblings, just because you dont like his personality (alot of people dont) doesnt mean he hasnt done well for himself
give credit where credit is due! I have enough respect for the boy esp since I know what he has done for himself isnt common in the community!

I also found him annoying but julies issues got to me more- i still respect them both sha, people are not without their flaws!
