I think his success is moderate considering the exposure that he's had. Fine he entered the british charts but who doesnt? We brits listen to all sorts. Artists like p square, flavor, bracket and the likes are still more popular than he is minus the exposure.

You've based this 'success' on the fact he sold records in britain? What of the records psquare are selling in south africa? Does that not count. What about Asa who is very mainstream in France? Nneka who is rocking emo and pop culture worldwide (something no Nigerian has done). 9ice (who is even a pure yoruba artist) gaining recognition performing at historic events.

I think it's silly to tie intelligence with religious beliefs. I've met many brilliant christians muslims, pagans, atheists. It doesn't make you any more or any less intelligence when you are born to a religion (or lack of one).
Those that think they are intelligent simply because they turned to atheism are still under the same spell, their quest for some sort of hierarchy, the same way we mirror reality into religion.
It's not as if the atheists here are answering any questions, they are just asking them. Any old fool can ask questions, how many people can provide answers.

As i said in my essay, men are the root cause of the problems they complain about and are therefore responsible for fixing it. Simple solution to your problems.

Nigerian men 'date down' because in some sick way it reinforces their masculinity to have the woman as 'property' a working independant woman probably being a threat.

I 100% agree with the op, they are the root of their own problems.
Nigerian men like to chase women on the street, they chase after everything in skirt. They make all sorts of demands from their women yet they know how to complain.
The same man will probably be expecting his girl to look like beyonce, intentionally date down (a woman younger, less educated and poorer than him) and then come back to wonder why she expects things from him? Erm you chased after her because of her looks? Obe to dun owo lo pa.
If you all took your time to get to know the females you chase after before you date them you will know the goldiggers, the dependants, the expectants, the ones who cannot take care of themselves and so on and so forth.

Most of you even use these things to entice women before getting to know them, after denying you, you try to appease her by buying gifts presents and all sorts. Why do you bother doing these things if all you are going to do is complain? You perpetuate the cycle you claim is causing you greif and you keep banging on about it and using it as an excuse to be disrespectful!

If you can't afford a dinner, don't bother asking a girl to one, if you can't afford a recharge card don't offer to buy one (dont even chase a girl with a mobile phone), don't run after a girl that has no job and wears brazilian weave then come back and complain when she expects you to pay for it, get to know the damn female before you ask her out! stop dating down and date women your age! date mature adults that look after themselves, you cannot have it all. and to top it all off be damn respectful!

The guy actually took her virginity while I left mine as a virgin she was when I met her. This other friend told me that it was because we weren't intimate that's why she left me. Of course! I'm sure you guys shared alot more than sex in common? Thats the reason it lasted a year, you shouldn't rush into sexx because you think it will will make her fall in love. You should have sexx when you are both willing and ready, and tbf sexx is probably the reason most relationships don't last, it cannot cement a relationship.
