Christianity EtcRe: Daddy Freeze Criticizes RCCG On Tithe Banner "Don't Be A Robber! Pay Your Tithe" by rabzy: 8:08pm On Dec 03, 2018
HeyCorleone:
Idiots before me said Freeze is looking for attention. How?

There was a time the Catholic Church, which I'm a proud member of btw, placed so much emphasis on indulgences. It was said that purchasing such would gaurantee the remission of a soul in purgatory to heaven. This was the belief until Martin Luther challaged it. Luther was called names. You think y'all insult Freeze? I laugh. Luther was called all sorts. He was condemned by a number of clergymen. But you know the remarkable thing? The church granted him attention. Debates were held (that's why it's stupid to say "carnal mind can't understand the things of the spirit blah blah blah. You should be able to argue things out). Luther went from city to city trying to prove his point.

But perhaps the most astonishing thing is the very thing Luther fought against has found its way into Protestantism, a sect he established, which the Pentecostal church is an offshoot of.
It is producing Uber rich pastors and financially and intellectually poor members. Members who are scared to hold a contrary opinion to their pastors. Members who don't think for themselves. Worst of all, members who feel that you have to deposit with God a certain percentage of your income for Him to bless you. That is so preposterous. God blesses everyone. Don't we have rich atheists?

If you think God would do more for you because you give him a percentage of your income, then you're under a delusion.

Freeze should fire on. I'm solidly behind.

Come and tell me how you became a Jew or your pastor, a Levite, since you don't read your Bibles well.
God bless you for this... I have argued with people that pentecostal churches are a product of people going against established and recognized men of God such as the Pope, Martin Luther, John Calvin, William Tyndale fought and died for this and now pastors who came from this movement do not not any debate or challenge, claiming they are anointed. Where did they get their anointing from that precludes them from criticism. Christianity has regressed terribly. Foolishness abounds

Don't think it's a matter to thank God.

Like has been said multiple times here. The MRI scan is indicative not conclusive.

Abuchi Obinwa born in the USA failed a NFF administered MRI scan when he was 16 round about the same period Success would have had his own test . The NFF failed or rather refused to submit the test results for independent inspection. Why ❓ anybodies guess.

The test is flawed by the baseline data used to make deductions. An excerpt from the Scientific American journal which is high standing academic journal highlights the problem.

Meanwhile, subsequent work also throws more cold water on the science of these wrist scans: One study on 86 young male Ghanaian players concluded, “There was no significant correlation between the chronological age and the degree of fusion.”

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/dear-fifa-there-is-no-scientific-test-to-prevent-age-fraud/

However, the reality is that the alternatives are not in themselves practical and or viable. It's essentially the most cost effective and efficient system we have for now. Just be aware it's not conclusive but indicative so it can be beaten.

The final word, without AUTOMATIC BIRTH DATA CAPTURE there will be age cheating. From Brazil, Peru, Africa, Asia, etc, etc
Den dey craze, that's no science. So it works for everybody except when you test it on West Africans. To them nothing can exonerate us as age cheats not even science. They can go to blazes. When it comes to us Our paper is not valid and their since can't tell the truth. That's just disguised racism

Your approach will not prepare them for success in Europe but failure by accepting mediocrity and changing the standard to suit them. The price of success will come to those who are prepared to pay the price in blood and guts, bravery and courage and not expecting preferential treatment.

He used them to show that first team players can still be involved in scrimmages in a side's feeder team be it U-23 or a youth team like the U-19s or U-18s. Even Hazard have featured for the Chelsea U-23s abi na U-21s before when he was returning from an Injury setback. But it didn't mean he is a youth player. I understand ur point..Randy mudafuckers are plenty in form of lecturers and they do stuffs...my issue is that CU girl did that shiit wilfully and now came out to scream rape/molestation ONLY when shiit hit the fan....why couldn't she do what ur SIL did eh...I know how a lecturer was beaten black n blue to free a female victim...it can be done....but most girls find it easier to give in and later claim harassment.... That's my point
I have met very strong girls who really death with the lecturers, there was a friend of mine in Ife who went as far as wotclef ngo, wrote to Senate, and really fought. The associate professor was expelled despite his notoriety for being an ogboni. The man was sacked, but it's not all girls that have such strong constitution, it's not all that have a strong support system and some are facing so much in life that they can't add more to it, so some just resign to their fate and succumb, so does that mean they should not be bitter with the lecturer, does it mean they should not ever speak out, for me it is rape, it was a forced consent.

if you expect the students who pay the school fees To obey the rules, what of the staff who are paid to apply the rule. Did the staff also pledge not to exploit the students. Students would always break rules, there is no student that passed thru that has not broken a rule it is inevitable but to sexually exploit a student is not inevitable.

U keep talking as if most of these girls are innocent...I have seen where they also use their bodies to get marks from lecturers!!! Sexual abuse occurs..yes..but also blatant soliciting for marks through sex by these females.....
If u don't agree to these, then ur biased!!
It's not a case of innocence, it does not matter whether they are innocent or not. Have you seen a lecturer complain or report to the authorities that a student is sexually harassing him... Hardly....why? Because the lecturer is in a position of authority. If a lecturer does not want to sleep with a student, what can the student do.... Nothing except jazz. But when a lecturer is after a girl, there so much he can do, they can fail the girls boyfriend, they even ask other lecturers To Help them fail the girl so that it won't be traced to them.

My sister-in-law studied in Ife, after writing a test, the lecturer tears up her answer script and claims she did not submit. The poor girl failed twice before she resorted to physical threats. She went to the lecturer and threatened him face to face and put the fear of God in him. She was ready to kill him and go to prison.

Would she just be suspended or expelled without a cause? Did the man go to her hostel and drag her out? Lets cut the slack and face the issues here .....she threw herself on the man and he did what he did by her compulsion angry ....if as a student you mind your business and still get harrassed or failed, report to the authorities and not succumb to their entreaties and not after 5 years you come out and be playing victim angry
You obviously don't know what obtains in this school. I have 2 boys from landmark university and 2 girls from covenant university. These kids are very bitter with the school. What they made me understand is that the school breeds fear amongst the kids most of whom are even ajubutter and very young. Every little thing you did can be exxagerated and it's your word against the authority because no student that was there would even come to your aid because of fear. You can't even argue with them because it would be tagged insurbodination or something like that and you would be expelled. On one of the boys phone, they saw a chat with a girl who was not their student. He begged and begged so that he won't be suspended or expelled. He had to sort the guy with hefty cash. Just imagine if it was girl and you went to a party secretly and was caught, now the guy is asking for sex to quash the case, how many girls would opt for suspension or expulsion when you can do a 10 minutes sex to escape. The culture of making admins and lecturers supreme master and lord over your academic and social life breeds abuse. A land with too many laws would catch too many crimes and then this leads to exploitation. The most restrictive society and prisons are the most abusive, it gives too much power to those in charge and power corrupts.

Komekn has strong convictions on what he believes and he has had heated arguments with a lot of people but he never gets abusive or used caustic words on people, that alone should at least make people to reciprocate his gesture. Once you have sold your land you have sold your inherent rights of rulership. Your holding on desperately to historical relics that have no relevance in modern society.
The Queen must have lost her rights of ruling abi oga, The king of Spain has no domain he rules over, he is landless, Oba of Lagos does not rule again shey or the otaru of Auchi. You need to pen your eyes and see what is right in front of you. If you buy any land in Lagos from a particular family and then a court case that has been ongoing for decades decides that the land is owned by another family, you have entered one-chance. You will buy the land again from the new family at the going market rate, nah then you go sabi say landowners dey.

Why dont you go and claim any virgin land for anywhere in Lagos whether you go last the night.

And I still insist that Yorubas are not the indigenes of Lagos, they are settlers. In another two hundred years, someone will call Igbos indigenes of Lagos, having settled there for centuries.
All these are relative terms, who was born from the land, everyone came from somewhere, everybody is a settler no matter how obscure the history is. The original settlers of Lagos came from different places, people came from different parts of the yoruba hinterland and became first settlers, some came as warriors and soldiers from benin kingdom and became indigenous settlers, others from Togo, Benin Axis into Badagry and became original landowners. These people came, discovered, lay claim to the land without dispute or fend off all disputes, settled created a functioning society, a system of government and an identity. They became the the indigenes and original landowners, all other people came to identify with them.
While the White Americans and African Americans may rightly have become indigenous to American, 'Indigenity' still get levels. If you type indigenous Americans in google, you will just get pages full of information about the Native Americans or American indians, not olaidah equino or harriet tubman or kunta kinte not even George Washington. You can also try Indigenous Australians and wonder why 300 years history of white Australians still does not make them 'indigenous australians'.

thanks for this

Lagos is the only state, aside Abuja, where University admission is not based on cachment area. What happened to indigenes there too? In the next hundred years, who will occupy Lagos? The indigenes of Lagos don't make up 15% of the population.

Those omoniles you speak of are not even indigenes, they are settlers like most of the people in Lagos. Lagos and Abuja are distinctly different from every other state in Nigeria, the only other state close to them is PH.

As far as I am concerned, Lagos has transcended tribal affiliations. It belongs to everybody and belongs to nobody. It was built by the blood and sweat of all Nigerians from all walks of life and all erhnicities, so, it is an injustice to omit those people, some spanning three generations, from Lagos, and refer to them as non-indigenes. And no, contrary to popular belief, the day Nigeria scatters, some people that are referred to as 'non-indigenes' will not have a hometown to go to, because their entire lives are in Lagos
To call Lagos a no man's land is just an unnecessary attempt to rile people up. No matter how few the first settlers are compared to the current population, they are still the landowners. The case of calling 3rd generation descendants in a place non-indigenes is not peculiar to Lagos, it is the same all over Nigeria, there are people who were born in Ife, Onitcha, Kano, Benin in the 40s and 50s, their grandkids cant lay claim to being indigenes, what clan would you say you are from, the indigenes would promptly tell you how modern your history is in their place. As long as an indigene still remains, the land can never be a no man's land.. The American Indians are still accorded their respect as landowners despite their decimation and political castration, they are still called first Nation or Native Americans, this is to acknowledge the fact that they are the original landowners. Every Land you buy in Nigeria including Lagos has documents that acknowledges the original indigenous settlers as owners and any transfer of such land often involves these same families and the authenticity of your document is not complete without the evidence of original sale from these families. How can someone who has documents attesting to such ownership in his wardrobe then turn around and say he is living in no man's land...haba.
Despite the cosmopolitaness of London or England as a whole, the original indigenes are still acknowledge, you cant be a duke or lord if you are a 3rd or 10th generation british citizen, they wont ever bestow it on you.
If you are a british citizen, your rights as a citizen is well protected and respected according to the constitution, but you cant go and tell the lords and dukes that england is no mans land or because onitcha or benin is populated majorly by people from other parts of the east or west and then you go and say before the Obi of Onitcha, or Oba of Benin and other ancient families that Onitcha or Benin is no man's land, they can take off your head. Likewise in Lagos, your right should be protected as a citizen but dont because you have bought acres of land in Oniru or Ajah and then you go and meet Oniru, or Elegushi or Olumegbon that his domain is a no man's land. Such behavior wont be accepted in Lagos, Benin, Ife, Kano, Onitcha, Warri or London.

Those Omoniles causing havoc all over the place might not be from Lagos, but i tell you they are acting on behalf of one baale or oba, whose families can be traced hundreds of years to these places. All major towns in Lagos have what they call 'orile', the most popular Oriles are Orile Iganmu and Orile Agege, but all other towns have their oriles and if you know any of these oriles, that is where the most rundown ramshackled, ancient mud house and shrines are located. The oriles are the places where the indigenes first settled and their you will see the ancestral homes, idols, shrines of all the original settlers, all the masquerade houses are generally located in these areas, the sacrifices and festivals and oros are still managed by hereditary families. Propitiatory sacrifices are still been done in all major towns and villages in Lagos, how many Hausa man or Igbo or idoma man is part of these initiates. How many non-indigene has been honored with an Eyo burial festival
With all these structures still in place, the families managing them still very much in force etc, it would just be mere pontificating for a 3rd generation settler to tell these people, their land is no man's land. Let him try and destroy their shrine nah, or become the custodian of the shrine nah.
If we are talking to rile people up or get under their skin, it is understandable but to actually believe some what we say are true is baffling. Every Nook and Cranny in Lagos has its landowners and they are still very much in charge of their domain.
