Please can u explain better,
Firstly I want to scan,
Post code
Then call a rewire/electrician.
To look into it.
Is this the right step to take?
Do NOT call a rewire/electrician. Pretty sure you just need a starter. Get the car scanned for confirmation

No it's not rolling.
My radiator water gone down
I topped it with water to see if it would drain probably there was a leak but suprisingly I wasn't up to a half a pint it filled up.
It had be never been this low(I could see the base of the radiator handle where the water is poured into.
It made a blitz sound this morning (not a click sound but like when 2 wires are touching) when I tried to start.
I will buy a car scanner and post the codes.
I am sourcing for a car I will use temporarily.
Thankfully I am not going to work on Monday.
Your car is overheating and low coolant too?

No..it makes no noise.
Starter without seeing it. Don't let a rewire get their hands on it.

Dear Gazzuzz and other auto guru
I need your informed inputs.
I drove into my house this evening after visiting a relation.
I parked the car in. Then tried restarting to repark properly.
The car won't start but the check light comes on as if it wants to start.
Pls I need ur 3rd eyes here as I have to attend to an important meeting tomorrow morning
It looks like a rewiring issue if I can suggest but I don't know what to look out for.
Pls kindly assist.
Car is Toyota Corolla sports 2006.

So many variables. Fastest check as previously mentioned by others is a scan. Does it make any noise at all and is it a "click"? If it is, you need a new starter.

I want to know if i should be worried about getting a V6 RAV4 as opposed to the 4 cylinder variant.
I would only get the v6. I don't want a sluggish 4 cylinder in my suv

You're lucky. Your car is 5w30 only and doesn't require synthetic though because of it's age it might benefit from it. Problem is what they've been using before is 20w50 and may have already damaged the engine. You can try one oil change with conventional 5w30 and see if it shorts oil. If it does, go back to 20w50 and when you have the money get the engine rebuilt. If it doesn't, continue using 5w30 and if you want, synthetic.

Good morning ma, quick one - do you stock Front Lower Control Arm Bushings - 08 Dodge Charger Lx RT? If yes, please tell me the lockdown hasn't affected your shipping outside Lagos? The shipping rates on Amazon and Ebay are scary and I don't want to buy "tokunbo" from the spares market here.
Which one specifically? Not in stock but I can bring it in 3 weeks $2/lb. Will be MOOG.

Car Talk › Re: Is Visco 2000 Engine Oil Good For Es 330 Oil..? by radautoworks: 1:13am On Jun 06, 2020
UzomaFC:
What's the difference between both oil?
And which one is the best?
Synthetic is a higher grade than conventional (mineral oil). Technically synthetic is better hence the higher cost HOWEVER, it is not necessary if your car does not require it. Some cars require synthetic oil and will have engine problems if you don't use it, others don't.
Conventional oil typically have 3 months/3,000 miles between oil changes while synthetic typically having 6 months/5,000 miles between changes with some going as long as 15,000 miles for extended oil changes.

Thanks for your intervention. Since the report was made here, it is proper to post an update here as well.

We did get round our communication glitch and I dashed down to your place and picked up my order promptly. It turned out that one bottle was not enough and so I had to pick up a second bottle thereafter.

At the moment, the whining noise from the power steering unit at idle has ceased. When I turned the steering at stand still it turned as free as it should for the first time since I had the fluid leak. I'll take the car for a spin tomorrow for a concluding test of the steering system. I'll be too glad to find that the Lucas stop leak product solved my problem definitively. That stuff'll certainly come across as a miracle in a bottle.

Above all, thank you very much for your concerned and timely intervention. You guys certainly make life a whole lot easier when it comes to picking up 'exotic' products and supplies for the car and I'm glad to have you here.

Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thank you so much. Apologies about the miscommunicated. Lucas is REALLY good. A lot of parts people replace here can be saved by stop leak products not just power steering.

When next you hear people saying idiotic stuff like COVID-19 is a hoax or that the government is lying, show them this video. It was taken at the Yaba isolation center yesterday. 4 bodies being taken away in body bags.
Truth is people are dying. Daily cases are on the rise. Regardless of whatever relaxation the government announces, ensure you take very extreme caution if you must go out. It is better to err on the side of caution. The hospitals are stressed. Many of them are turning back patients who show symptoms of COVID-19. Only God can help us but you must do your own part too."

Umm, yes. That's why NEW cars are not allowed to be imported. The distributors are already here. Read a book.

After reading his write up, I could only come up with a conclusion... He’s an ignorant fellow that’s opportuned to use the internet. He goofed severally but I’m not bothered. I’ve chosen to sell at N2000 now. Let me see how he’d tell me to run my business. I’m sure he nags while his wife shakes her head.
Oh, okay. That's how you want to play this? You should probably do some research to know who you are talking to. I was being nice before because I saw you as a young man just trying to hustle.

You are selling BLACK MARKET CARQUEST OIL. The stock you have was for USA distribution ONLY. Only we (Carquest Nigeria) have the copyright and distribution rights registered with the government in Nigeria.

I am going to chalk up your first response to ignorance of the law and the situation. If I see more inventory after this "few boxes", we, Carquest USA & Nigeria WILL come after you. If you like, let the internet stalker lead you astray. You're not the first and you won't be the last.

Madam radu, from the Uber thread. Pls, I was with a company I had relationship with earlier today and I notice, from conversation that they need a company like yours, that will help in maintaining their vehicles. Right now they use metropolitan but I think they want another. Immediately I remember you and I directed them to you, I quickly Google radautoworks and I got this number= 08034197461. I gave it to them, they also said one of their drivers will check you out, I gave your address also. They're in V. I, with about 50 vehicles or thereabouts, Mostly Toyota.. Pls, is the phone number right?
Thank you for thinking about us. These are our numbers below. Also in our signature. Just tell them to ask for my husband Glen.

[s]lol, you are a Nigerian after all

your ad hominem attacks are hilarious and beside the point

litigate what? sue a private business entity retailing merchandise at comparable and non prohibitive prices? you must think you're the only one with legal knowledge, just like you think you're the only genuine mechanic in all of Nigeria

of course youre very wrong on both counts, but don't let your ignorance stop you, that hasn't been a problem for you so far

like i stared before, his price is absolutely none of your business, why don't you take a gun and force him to give it all up for free

the only honest mechanic in Nigeria[/s]

I don't understand what your motives are on this thread

first, this is cartalk and no adverts are allowed,

you made initial unsolicited posts on his thread making uncalled-for comparisons, did the OP ever ask for all that?

even if somebody besides the thread owner asked questions concerning pricing on this thread, isn't it common business courtesy not to make negative or de-marketing posts on somebody else's business or sales thread?

that passed and the OP wisely ignored the derailing and provocation and tried to move on

now you're here telling him how to run his business and telling him what price to sell his merchandise?

your business ethics don't tell you that his price is absolutely none of your business?

even if he chooses to sell one can of engine oil at 15000 Naira, how is that your problem?
For someone who just joined the forum less than two weeks ago you sure seem to have taken a lot of time to know that I am "someone who loves to point out how she's so special and different from the pack, yet does the exact same things her imagined subordinates and detractors do".

We don't owe you an explanation but since you want to go there, I'll hop off my "high horse" and indulge you.

WE OWN ALL RIGHTS TO CARQUEST PRODUCTS IN NIGERIA AND IF WE WANTED TO, COULD PROTECT OUR BRAND AND LITIGATE THE ISSUE WHICH WE HAVE DONE BEFORE.

Based on your comment, you do not seem to understand what "advertising, negativity or de-marketing" is.

1) The op advertised (which you don't seem to have a problem with).

2) I was CALLED to this thread because someone saw our brand for sale by another party.

3) I actually wasn't bothered by the post or we would immediately have issued a cease and desist. I just saw it as the op getting his hands on some stock and trying to flip it. No harm, no foul with just a few boxes.

4) Op posted that he still had the product and I informed him that the actual manufacturer was in the country so he would see two things. One, why it was moving slowly and two, that it may not be worth his while to sink more money into the product as he would always be at a disadvantage price-wise.

5) if you truly understood business ethics you would realise that the fact that he sells and the price he sells our product is EXACTLY our business.

I assume we are done until you follow me to yet another thread to feign indignation about something I have said. Go back to your original moniker. You know who you are.

Op, if it's just a few boxes you got your hands on I have no problem with it.

Thank you very much. I did get a response this morning but yet again communication trailed off and at the end of today, I still haven't received the product - never mind that I made payment for it as early as 10am. I didn't even receive so much as a confirmation of payment made let alone a response to a follow up question as to whether I can swing by and pick up the product myself.

Email is by no means a preferred channel of communication for me. It is as opaque as it is slow and therefore requires a hands-on, quick response, customer care approach to be bearable for the likes of me. It is rather trying to receive an email asking me for delivery address and then to go completely silent after that until the end of day with no apology for inability to deliver product same day - seeing as you and me are on the same side of town - and no promise of what is to happen the day after so that I may plan my activities better going forward.

Please don't be like GIG logistics: be different.

Thank you.
They did respond yesterday at noon. Please see below.
