I keep saying it that DANGOTE is not a business man,he is just a willing tool to powerful NIGERIANS,he is just a frontier nothing more,I don't rate the man

What makes a businessman? I guess selling Gala and Lacasera in traffic. angry

the same loan you and I cannot obtain? I think Civic education is more important for Nigerians at this moment and how about the waivers he gets from government above his fellow competitors. I thought you earlier said government didn't lend any money to him. If we keep dragging this thing,ur last card you are going to play is the "AGUMENTUM AD HOMINEN" I'm jealous of him.

Did you attend a school for goodness sake?

1. Name a company in Nigeria that has no access to loans.

If you have a company worth N10m, walk into any commercial bank and provide them with solid plan of making money, you wont leave the premises without gurantee of a letter of credit.

Talk more of a $19b facility, banks would kill themselves to be a part of that partnership.

Do you know what bonds are? Do you even know what a capital/money market is?

Stay in your village and let poverty kill you while hating on successful people who dont know about existance.

2. What waiver did he got above his peers?
What were the criteria for getting the waiver? Did he fulfil them?

3. The article you quoted mentioned of "loans from domestic banks for local funding and foreign banks for import of equipment"
How does this translaate to loan from the Govt.?

Is is that the level of education people are getting is seriously eroded or you just happen to be a dunce?

It's is very unfortunate that igbos have been predominantly fingered in these disgraceful acts. Am not sure why some of them don't understand what it means to respect the hospitality of their hosts. but the question is how did they pass thru our airports with d drugs enroute Seychelles?

Whether we like it or not, this country aids and abetts the criminality of it's citizens and in a way exports such criminality because we always adopt d path of least resistance as a way of solving problems.

If something as big as a fuel tanker (33,000 litres) carrying petroleum products can easily cross our borders into neighbouring countries and we feel fuel subsidy is responsible and not d border guards, then why will things as small as drugs not pass thru?

The Nigerian government needs to seriously put in place measures and systems to ensure people going out of the country have no 'baggage'. Our Ariports and Seaports should have maximum security and search facilities.

The rate at which Nigrians are being banned from travelling to countries and harnessing opportunities is becoming alarming, we might wake up one morning to discover we cant set foot in Benin, Cameroun, Tchad and Niger because we've been banned.

Genuine Nigeerians with no dent on them are being victimized around the world because of the actions of a few.

Read the story you just quoted and link it to the topic.

1. A company took a loan and paid it back, how does that concern you? Companies do that all the times, every single day.

2. You probably skipped the part that said commercial banks lended money - not the Nigerian government.

You guys should do away with your entitlement mentality.

Dangote owes you nothing, and if you are putting your hopes of survival on the refinery, its time you start looking elsewhere because to him (and his company) its a business opportunity, not a charity venture.

No religion scares those who embrace terrorism like Judaism. This is the particular reason Judaism is spreading like wildfire in the east presently. The era of turning the other chin is gone. What is en vogue now is slap for slap and blow for blow .
Christianity is too cucumber cooled for my liking.

Are the Ghanaian authorities watering down the vigilance of their people on purpose to later introduce gay rights laws.
If 90 % of the country is impaired with all types of mental health, treacherous laws can be passed easily.
If Ghana ever try, that country should get ready to swim in the Atlantic to Europe or to the south pole, because Pan-African volunteers will
invade and tear down the moda foka laws of that country.

Ghana of Akufo Addo has been trying to be 'woke' since its inception.

Countries sharing borders with Ghana and others like Nigeria need to be vigilant as we will have to deal with spin off effects.

Got to ask why someone is so concerned about the refinery - a private one for that matter.

Dangote owes nobody an explanation and full beakdown of timelines and milestones, he moves as he and his investors deem fit.

People need to learn what to worry themselves with and what not to.

I am learning more and more about the South East as a region. It's the ultimate land of paradox so far from this kind of posts. Smh.

Today, I learnt that a FG owned university in the SE is making the local language a university compulsory course at a time SE people online are complaining about Bauchi state and Lagos state. Now this! Smh

The SE is a land of facsists, it has never been hidden.

Victim complex, better than all syndrome, dominate and emasculate, stand logic on its head, do anything it takes to pepper my enemies among a few, plus a brand of christianity that looks more jewish than actual christianity.

These people have a mountain to climb to attain true civilization. It was as true in 1950 as it is today.

Politics / Re: Would North Survive Tinubu's Extreme Capitalist Policies? by Raheeqilmaktoom: 3:18pm On Jul 03, 2023
proeast:
Tinubu's sweeping policies have hit Nigerians hard, but many don't even understand the dire situation faced by Northerners, particularly NE and NW. For a region that has always enjoyed subsidy in almost everything, from fuel, to education, electricity, health etc. what is happening now may lead to famine and chaos. This region is already the world's worst performing in terms of maternal mortality, extreme poverty, infant mortality, illitracy, insecurity, under 5 mortality, out of school children, pervasive malnutrition etc.

Consider the facts below:

1. Fuel 500 in South & 700 in North post fuel subsidy.

2. From free/cheap electricity to very expensive electricity post power sector subsidy.

3. From dirt cheap tertiary education to paying hundreds of thousands post educational subsidy.

4. There was inadequate health facilities and low patronage during health subsidy so I wonder how the situation will be post health sector subsidy.

If Southerners are complaining bitterly then you can only imagine the crises that is about to hit Northern Nigeria. Unfortunately, most of them don't even understand how gloomy things are for them except few of their educated elite like Sanusi Lamido.

So, I ask, would Northern Nigeria survive Tinubu's extreme capitalist economy?

Hope the result wasn't from jamb website. That's all I am after.

The statement says they used a software to alter the result, nevertheless, as long as tempering occurred and the result is different from what JAMB has, that's forgery.

Perfectly understood! I am a muslim and I know this things. No matter the rank, there is no arrangement in mosque everyone is equal in the face of Allah.
To be logical, Seuns point is that gender segregation is not Equality in the first place. So the context of "equal" is out of place because we are all humans regardless of Gender. The segregation was brought about from "equity " and never a chance of "equality"

Within the context of Islam which the guy wrote about, not from Seuns jaundiced mind view.

Given your explanation how can Arrewa claim Islam is an egalitarian religion? If you cannot put gender and authority on the same pedestal, what then is your definition of egalitarianism?

Which Islamic society or country is egalitarian? Is it northern Nigeria, Iran or Saudi Arabia?

Not when your definition of egalitarian society is women treated as objects or properties and equality, women walking topless because a man can walk in his singlets.

In his own words- he said "as long as you are in a mosque, you are nobody but a servant who wants to come and bow down to his God"
2. In this context, there was no gender segregation hence Seun's assertion was right in a logical point of view. However, religion isnt logical, because if one wants to be rational, you will be left with more questions than answers.

A servant of God and within Islamic context that must submit to God's will which includes differentiating place of worship between males and females as commanded by God.

2. Or he understood one part and choose to misjudge the 2.

These things are clear.

You come to worship, worship and get going.

Men to their areas and women to theirs.

You come early as a person of authority, if there is any arrangement you take your place and if there isn't, you take any place.

And so applies to women.
