preciousuweh: .....And I always ask, what's the Economic Importance of all this beauty pageant of a thing. What does it contribute to the Economy. Why can't they channel the money they squander to organise such pageant into other things that are of paramount importance. Now, nobody will criticize this but if it is the church that says members should tithe or contribute money so that they can expand their auditorium, everyone including a day old baby will start wagging their tongue in criticism like wildfire.
Or are they trying to say this is another version of WOMEN EMPOWERMENT? No difference with what football or basketball or any other sports for that matter provides, they all fall along the same economic line. |

Imagine this, when the miss world contest was supposed to hold in Nigeria people got killed because some religious baboon extremist thought it was insulting their god, I was in the middle of that riot. They thought Nigeria is too holy for that, and that made the models not to have bikini shots in Nigeria, imagine the same event happening in Egypt no problem, happened in Turkey no problem, but Nigeria, we must kill Christians because they are the cause. Stupid people. |

delishpot: I know you or someone close to you carries hookers that is why you are this passionate about his punishment. All what he wrote are lies. He did not lose anything. He is a user. He got served and I hope he sleeps in jail likewise any man that behaves like him. Well, why does it bother you that we do, you are free to try it out if you want and if you have the money. My point has been made let your mind judge your stupidity. |

queencalipso: But the guy's intention was bad from the begining. He didn't intend to fulfil his promises nor pay her yet he used her money. He simply got a dose of his own bitter medicine. I understand his intentions were bad, but is it anything matched to being labeled a rapist and your whole life rubbished with lack of substantial evidence. I have seen too many instances like this, most do not come out on social media, but they've always existed, I don't doubt her side of the story and I don't doubt that of the guy, there has to be more than what we've just heard for us to make any judgements. I am passionate about this because I think I understand how I will feel if it were my sister, or if it were me being innocent, so I am empathetic to both sides but will not judge any criticise until we know better. I have my opinions but I better keep them with me until I know better. |

You are the biggest fool on the surface of the planet, you think with your butt, did you follow the story, based on what did you place a verdict on him, what is wrong with people, do you all think with your ass? Romance › I Love Her But We Always Fight by Ramos16(op): 10:23pm On Jan 12, 2018 |
Hey guys,
I am in a relationship with this beautiful Yoruba girl whom I love dearly, I am Idoma. I would do anything to make this girl happy, and I am sure she will do the same, I have seen her go out of her way just to make me smile so I have no doubt for that. I don't mind marrying, as a matter of fact, I have thought about asking her to marry me a lot of times already, but the problem is that we fight quite easily, we can hardly be together for 2 days without having a quarrel about something extremely trivial.
Right now we have not talked about 2 weeks going, but I am sure of what she feels about me and also sure of what I feel. I won't deny I can be a hard guy to deal with, I like to do things my way, and she likes to do things her own way, a lot of times she advises me I listen but I don't implement and that makes her angry, especially when things go south afterward.
It is not all bad in the relationship, the times we spend together I will not trade for anything, I was supposed to see her in December but could not because of a couple of unforeseen circumstances, and that is actually the reason we are fighting now.
I want to ask her to marry me, but I am afraid it might get worst in the marriage. |

HeWrites: A Nigerian lady has taken to Instagram to recount how her mom built her own house, years after being chased out by her ex- husband who was living in a one bedroom apartment.
http://www.torimill.com/2018/01/woman-builds-her-house-years-after.html Let me tell you a story of my own, my father's sister comes to the house from the village to undergo some eye surgery so we accommodated her, it isn't long before she starts saying my mom is not feeding my father properly and she would either request more food for my father or try to cook up something for him in my mothers kitchen and my mothers house, e no fit work na, of course, this, later on, caused trouble that saw her leave the house. Now let me tell this story from the point of view of my aunty I went to Kaduna to visit by brother who offered to take me to the hospital, when I saw him he was looking thin and hungry, I could not recognize my brother anymore, later on I discovered that his wife was given him very small food, food that even the dogs will not eat, this same man that will go out and come back late at night, how can you be giving him that quantity of food, one day my brother comes home hungry and I decided to cook something for him oh that is how trouble started and then his wife asked him to kick me out of the house, choi that woman is wicked. Whose side of the story are you on, it is all about perspective guys. For me, if my mother in law comes to my house and feeds my wife I too will kick her out. It is stupid, if she walks up to me and offers to bail me out, then we will be telling a whole different story. |

She will find her way back on her own because it no more your battle it's of the Lord. You will be surprised. It has worked in many families I know OP this is exactly what you should do, don't listen to people who have asked you to beat her. |

LagosCiti: I watched the video and I was very ashamed of that lady. There are some ladies that do not want to be corrected. And God so good, the man is married to a well-mannered Yoruba lady who doesn't act like a tout.
Why should you put your feet on someone's seat, that's just rude? I cringed while watching the video, at a time I had to pause the video because I felt really really bad on how she smeared the Nigerian name with filth. |

But I guess the summary is...
Christian Soldier harassed Christians, kills a Captain and 3 others, and then shoots his Christian self dead...
I still have this weird feeling that somebody will still find a way to blame Muslims for this chain of events.
May God grant the families of the deceased men the fortitude to bear the loss... Where the F do you come from man, you are darn slow minded amigo. |

Hedonistically: You're probably endowed with slave mentality - coupled with ignorance and inferiority complex. A very deadly combination.
So policemen do not sacrifice their lives to protect us? Policemen who die everyday protecting us from the more direct and dangerous threat posed by criminals such as armed robbers and kidnappers? So they don't deserve our respect more than cowardly soldiers who derive more fulfilment from bullying unarmed civilians than from actually protecting them? Are you mentally alright? What is the meaning of this direct attack, did I mention you in my comment, if you can't stand my opinion then it is your cup of tea, it shows how immaturely your mind works. You should go work on yourself boy a get a good education maybe then come back and talk like a human. |

Seriously, I feel really bad for the way our military men are treated in this country, no single respect, we should always give them priority treatment in public, they risk their lives for us to feel safe and we pay them with disrespect? I am appalled and vexed right now. |

We shouldn't encourage hypocrisy in the bid to promote the black skin. I'm sure the only reason why she's still keeping that complexion is because it is her means of livelihood. I don't know where you come from, but from where I am from we call that beauty, she is really pretty. There ain't nothing you can do about it lady. And take a look at your picture beside that lady.

Lordave: Pathetic, what religion has done to us is fast becoming incurable.
Even Jesus Christ dined with all manner of people but here family and friends have abandoned this man, his pastor doesn't even bother about him. At this stage, his pastor and church should be the ones looking after him(if he attended church).
Wish you quick recovery. More good fortunes to your niece. I hate people like you, either you did not read the article or you are just a sadist, nobody mentioned pastor or Christianity in that post, nobody even mentioned religion, where did pastor come from, what makes you think he is a Christian, try to be a rational thinker, don't let hate fuel your judgments, think smart, act smart, talk smart, don't be a fool.. |
