I strongly considered ignoring your thread, as I'm sure hundreds if not thousands of others have. Maybe you're lying, maybe you're not. But the sad truth is most people in this world simply don't care about others - and in a country as tough as naija, you can't really blame them. The few who do care are tired of being scammed - a favorite igbo proverb: all lizards are lying on their stomachs, how do we know the ones that truly have stomach-ache? So why am I not ignoring like everyone else? I don't know. Maybe I just wish we could all show a little kindness to each other in this sad, sad country...

Bros, i don't know what your situation is, so i will not tell you to stop asking for help if you see it as the only option. But I can tell you this, it is an open invitation for insults of all categories. Now folks are advising you to sell your phone. I was raised to have a very strong self-pride - I will break before I bend over. And I learnt very early to accept the fact that this life is not fair - some people have enough to waste and throw away, while others like myself have to grind it out the hard and painful way. The only thing left is what I intend to do about it.

By the way, I see you advised someone some weeks back to consider going into agriculture as a business; have you tried it yourself? Yes it is. Let me help u here. The only reason u are not attracted to ur mother is because of nurture not nature. If u didn't know she was your mother, u would not have any qualms about it especially if she is your type. At the same time, even if she is not biologically related to you and she raised you as her son without you knowing, the same nurture rules will still apply.

There is no internal mechanism for identifying mothers and precluding attraction to them. Same goes for sisters and cousins. That's why some cultures have no qualms about bedding their cousins while others find it repulsive.

These 'cures' are dubious. Mostly forced conversion therapy that uses torture till the victim has no other option than to be 'cured'. Same with how parents 'cured' left handedness. Or how Nigerian police torture innocent victims till they confess to a crime they never committed.

I don't know about this cure thing. Anyone can stop a habit at any time. I wouldn't consider it a cure. That's why there isn't a cure for being an alcoholic or a drug addict. You can only be considered sober.

Also it is hard to really know if someone is cured of homosexuality. Does it mean they don't crave such sexual acts again? Or does it mean they just restrain themselves more? If a man can be cured of being gay then a man should also be able to be cured of any sexual desires entirely? So are u saying I can be cured of my predilection for moderately massive and perky female behinds?

Another reason why it is hard to know if someone is really cured of homosexuality is that anyone who makes such claim of being cured probably has an incentive to proclaim it. The person might do so under societal or religious pressure to assuage their guilt or gain more acceptance with a group. So if the guy is still gay, he has a lot of reason to hide it and just play along. This is the same like all those guys that claim to have been healed of one sickness or another in churches but hide themselves later when symptoms of the sickness persists.
