I met someone in the USA who played a great role in getting me situated in that country. She housed me free of charge for a couple of weeks, got me alternative accomodation , helped me get a source of livelihood, vouched for me when i went to get my drivers license and traveled from one state to my wedding in another state... all because she liked the way i reason and explained my points back in 2014. She reached out to me. We did not date and she has helped hundreds of people as well.

Nairaland is not just a site. It is a forum where many things happen. Its what you want out of it.There are levels to everything. In Dallas today there is a nairaland community of about 20 members that still hangout during festive periods and provide support to each other in real life. They met on nairaland.

I remember a debate i had with user name Billionaire or so back then on existence of God. We were at it for almost 4 days dishing out deep arguments. This was before nairaland was hacked and their data wiped out years back.

We are looking it from a different angle, for example, women are more emotionally intelligent than men,i think we can say that women are superior to men in that aspect.

I understand your point, but the differences can also bring about superiority and inferiority if we objectively look at it. for example, a higher iq is superior to a lower iq this is fact but also differences in a person iq which led to the superiority of a person of higher iq over a person of lower iq

i will like to ask, in what aspect do you think there is discrimination against women?

[b]i wont say there have been like a discrimination against women, women are attracted to people, men are attracted to things, that is why there are more female nurses, doctors, teachers, marketers and many other jobs were you have to interact with people, men are in engineering, in the army, in construction and other kinds of stuff which have to do with things.

Gender equality will be hard to achieve, even in Scandinavian countries with their gender equality, women are still going to jobs where they have to deal with people while men are in professions that deal with things.

i think been too politcal correct will make use not see the real pictures of the inequalities between the gender.[/b]

Hm...i see your point but can we use your logic of the coin for gender equality? according to your logic both sides supports each other to form a coin even though they are different

in humans, even both male and female aree human beings, there are lot of differences between us, even though we complement each other.

for example in brain size, there are lot of researches that shows the men have a more larger brain than women

maybe we are equal in job opportunities but there are still many differences between us, again physical strength, men are more stronger than women.in my opinion equality is just an idealogy it is not workable in real life
