Christianity Etc › Re: The Christian Legacy Of Smartphones by randomperson: 3:14pm On Dec 21, 2016 |
4everGod: You so like thinking anyone runs from you. On the contrary the stench of your ignorance is so pungent one has no choice but to beat a hasty retreat. I simply do not want to argue as this is not debatable. Even you with your little intelligence ought to know this. The plaque put up on capitol building for Samuel Morse says it all and historians and telecoms experts worldwide know this and they all agree that without Morse there would have been no them. Without morse the idea of the transatlantic cable would not have come. Without morse , Braille for the blind would not be existing as its the same technology. Without Morse, receiving communication through a skin buzzer for the deaf and blind would not have been a reality. Without morse NOKIA would not have existed. Without morse your famous SOS signal would not be there. Without morse your modern day internet nd 3G or 4G would be nowehre to be found or fibre optic cables would be non existent. Without morse your FM or AM radio would be non existent.
The list is endless.
This is why debating you is a waste of brain space for me or anyone else. Like i said, pocket your argument or lodge it in the bank Can u read or u only know how vomit programmed responses.... Who said Morse code isn't important?? But where is the proof that it was god that instigated that particular innovation... It's pure folly to suggest god caused inventions. If u remove the god factor, these inventions would still have happened perhaps at a faster pace. The Egyptians of old invented things without the Christian god, so did the Babylonians, the Greeks, Persians and Romans... If the only response you can come up with us Morse code is this, Morse code is that, then don't bother because that doesn't prove the part god played in the actual discovery... But if u can surprise us and come up with something intelligent, we will be pleasantly surprised |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Christian Legacy Of Smartphones by randomperson: 2:55pm On Dec 21, 2016 |
4everGod: Read my last comment and pocket your argument. Everything depended on communication. Any discovery needed communication to travel and be replicated. Every medical breakthrough needed communication. If you still do not realize the strenght in communication then OYO is your case. So by suppressing knowledge about communication, god suppressed medical knowledge leading to deaths of probably millions of people... God is truly good... And u haven't answered, what changed that God stopped suppressing knowledge |

Save yourself from being ignorant. Think before typing... Where did I say it's a new dictionary discovery? 4everGod: Abeg go and sit down somewhere with your predictable tantrums. Who cares about what your opinion is when its like a dust in the wind. Christians never cease to give Glory to God for anything we do because we believe that their is a creator whom we owe all our wisdom and intelligence to. How does that affect you?
If the Asian countries which are developed today did not need God does that stop them from being part of His creation? Even the Asian countries still rode on the back of the telegraph as without its arrival information spread would have been so slow that development would have greatly suffered and perhaps we would have been in the development of the 1900s if not for the invention of the telegraph. It revolutionalized telecoms and became the carrier of ebery other form of communication we know of or have today.
If the very first man who invented a car Karl Benz did not do so would you be talking about the latest model of any vehicle today or even a hybrid of any vehicle today?
Oga abeg shift. This thread is not for debate as its not debatable. The facts speak for themselves. The whole world knows it. Even atheists such as stephen fry know it. So you can put your argument in your pocket or lodge it in the bank. It's still my first comment and you're already running scared?? The points I raised were not even specifically for you. They are for any Christian who can posit contrary but intellectual arguments. Nothing in the Op proves that Christianity is synonymous or even relevant to scientific invention. Not the appreciation of the Christian god by some scientists and not even the argument that many of the past scientists were Christians proves that point. And the Christian scientists also rely on inventions and discoveries from other climes. Why don't u just Google inventions by the Chinese.. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Christian Legacy Of Smartphones by randomperson: 2:23pm On Dec 21, 2016 |
4everGod: if you had watched the last video even the historian said the period before and leading up to the invention of the telegraph machine was known as THE GREAT HUSH. The bible says that God makes everything perfect IN HIS TIME so I can safely assume that he suppressed knowledge until such a time it was required then the idea of the telegraph was given to a man such as has never been done before. A man out of the blue just imagined he could communicate with someone else while being absent from there and he went ahead to create a machine and also create a unique set of codes to go along with it.
Immediately after that every other thing regarding communication fell in place. It wasnt coincidental...go and research history and you will see that everything fell in place immediately after the telegraph came.
Today you have the advanced kind of telegraph in your hand as a smartphone. Now you know its history. - so does suppression of knowledge include medical knowledge because all the people killed by diseases that were later preventable would have lived if god didn't suppress knowledge... - and what changed that stopped god's suppression of no knowledge. What made god changed his mind |

4everGod: Oh so now Christians are intelligent! Wow what a quick about turn from you.
so all the glory given to God throughout each step of the invention and actualization did not show you that God was involved?.
Go and sleep. All of you are butt hurt - who ever said Christians are not intelligent?? Of course Christians are intelligent, just like Jews, Buddhists e.t.c - And if you're claiming the fact that they gave glory to god means god was involved, u couldn't be more wrong. Christians give thanks to god when anything good happens to them. For example they give thanks to god when they give birth to beautiful babies but if the babies have down syndrome or anencephaly it's a different story all together. Unless you are saying if a Muslim give thanks to his god for something then invariably, the Muslim god was involved. -Christians scientists did not invent BECAUSE of god, they invented INSPITE of god. Scientists that have rejected the idea of God have not experienced retrogression in their scientific research. In fact, scientists are increasingly becoming atheist. And the argument can be made that as knowledge increases, god reduces - The Asian countries that are developed didn't need god or Christianity. In fact countries like china, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore can give the west a run for their money. - And since hopeful landlord used the word butthurt on you yesterday, you have been repeating it like a nursery school student. Well I guess repetition is a sure way of learning and u really have a lot to learn |
