It's not about ability to control. While control it if it doesn't harm anyone. Paedophilia harms children but homosexuality is consensual. BTW, the bible doesn't condemn paedophilia but declares death for homosexuals

U know of a Greek girl?? And that proves what exactly??... In developed countries in the western world, Christmas is a traditional festival just like Thanksgiving in the US. Check all the major American TV stations, they all celebrate Christmas but the emphasis is not on Jesus. Even in Nigeria, many people go to a bar and enjoy themselves, they don't do anything remotely Christian during Christmas... It's a holiday, it's the end of the year...

This is a silly question, to be honest. Christmas is more or less a traditional festival.. Even the countries with very high percentage of irreligious people celebrate Christmas on a large scale. The things which resonate most about Christmas in these countries are Santa Claus, decoration, lights. Hell, even frosty the snowman gets mentioned a lot more than Jesus.
Besides, atheism is not a religion. It doesn't require my hatred of religions and practices. No god is going to burn me forever for celebrating with my friends. So...

Those two adults were in a covenant with God, they knew the laws and the punishment, if they decided to have consensual sex knowing that homosexuality wasn't allowed in the land and that the punishment was death then that's their own fault.

The bible declares death for all sins not just homosexuality. As far as capital punishment goes, that only applies under the context in which in ancient Israelites were living, christians don't live under that context so they don't have any right to kill someone just because they homosexual.

So at some point, the God u serve actually declared deaths on adults who engaged in consensual sex with members of the same sex... That isn't fair is it

And please, gender inequality is not a recipe for a successful marriage. In fact, there is a study that shows that christian have higher rate of divorce than atheists

Luke says "they said unto them". The use of the pronoun "they" indicates that the young men had the same message for the women. My mother can tell me to shun smoking. However, I can rightly say that my Parents told me to shun smoking.

Am not even going to waste my time showing what a shoddy job u did there... Just excuses galore... There are multiple contradictions so don't just pick the one u have ready made excuses for...

If stories that are these pivotal and fundamental to the concept of Christianity have contradictory accounts, in a book that is supposedly inspired by an infallible Holy- Spirit, then why do Christians still believe this bullsh*t... I guess most people need their delusions..
