Na gode mutane na. We choose to ignore the infantile rants of inferiority complex ravaged bigots on this forum as they bear no consequence on our existence and are a result of trans-generational 'painment' from a humbling experience. |

This man collected money from Jonathan's cronies just this Saturday at the ICC in Abuja, I have that information on solid authority, therefore I'm not surprised. It hurts that this is supposed to be the leader of my Church, and he is defending Jonathan on the issue of BH while forgetting he is the endangered one. The church in Nigeria has been corrupted by GEJ. |
General Buhari made it clear that he will not witch-hunt or investigate past corruption cases, but will draw a line from May 30th, and any official in charge of public funds from then on must be accountable, he emphasized that there are mechanisms already within Ministries which will make this possible; mechanisms which he explained, are ineffective at the moment, because a fish rots from the head (Jonathan). This point is especially necessary to silence those questioning his ability to fight corruption, based on allegations that members of his party have corruption cases to answer. This is a leader. |
poiZon: shift15:There's a difference between drug abuse and Drug Trafficking. One carries a warning and pat on the wrist, while the other carries a death sentence. So because he comes from a region allegedly known for drug abuse, you assume he will not take action? Do you think we are talking about Jonathan here? |

kastonkastrol:The way he undermines them gladdens my heart. His epic retort to the Channel 4 correspondent in Kano was just classic - "What is Boko Haram?!" This is a leader. attn: lalasticlala, Seun, oam4j please move to FP. |

Not even once did General Buhari attempt to attack the personality of GEJ, despite the several questions on insecurity which presented many opportunities to do so. Instead he highlighted the fact that the Nigerian Army which used to be a lethal and effective peace keeping force across several countries, cannot secure just 14 local governments today, a development which is clearly indicative of the lack of political will to fight the insurgents, the reason for which started becoming clear with yesterday's election postponement. He then goes ahead to confidently clear the myth of the sects near invincibility by undermining their significance. This is a leader. |
tswitch:There's a thread for beer parlour discussions - https://www.nairaland.com/1414798/politics-chat-room-beer-parlour |
datguru:I can back up what I said with documentary evidence. Can you? |
"If people want to make money they should go out and work hard, not bring drugs and destroy Nigerian youth " - Gen. Buhari on drug pushers. No wonder a certain section of this country notorious for drug trafficking are hell bent on frustrating his candidacy. |

Mr. Remember - my headmaster that never forgets to whip you back to your default settings (funny enough, it was his real name). Mr. 'Ohms Law" - in retrospect, it seems that was the only thing he knew in Physics, he was one unrepentatnt womanizer. Mr 'Uban Ka" - "Uban ka" in hausa translates to 'your father' - our PE teachers favorite insult when you're being lazy on the tracks (or just when he's plain bored to be honest). Mr. "Slow-Mo" - this guy's speech, actions and classes are so slow it's more interesting watching paint dry. |
vislabraye:What kind of logic is this? The criminal act of B is acceptable because A also did it? Since when do two wrongs make a right? I hope you realise you are on the receiving end of whoever did it, so be wise. |
Now who is the person violently suppressing the freedom of the press? This will only make the book go viral when released, like the OBJ book. Jonadunce will never learn. |

Jonathan must be watched closely from now on, at least we are sure it is not the U.S he will run to when he is kicked out. |
lasrondo:Gbam. The discontent among the ranks right now must be indescribable. I knew the military would be used extensively by Jona to rig since hearing the disgraceful Brig-Gen. Momoh on the Ekiti election rigging tapes, in cahoots with Fayose, Koro and Jonathan. |
The choice of the majority must be respected. Jonathan has succeeded in destroying the army, first by destroying their morale through their ordeal in the hands of rag-tag BH, as a result of inadequate resources and poor leadership, despite the billions of dollars approved for Jonathan; and now by creating division within the Army as some officers will definitely see an ethnic agenda in the postponement of these elections, and react accordingly. Jonathan will get what he is asking for. |
Jonathan is on a path to self-destruction, and he doesn't know it. This government will battle to regain the trust of Nigerians, and what is common knowledge is that truth always triumphs over deceit. The APC anticipated this move, it is the incumbency factor, and is well prepared. Jona is a Goner ![]() |
This is supposed to be the former Minister of State for Defence who should be worried about how to assist in making sure the crisis-ridden areas are brought under control for the elections, but he cluelessly prefers to call for the resignation of a highly competent Professor and electoral chief. Under a normal administration, this tout would be answering several questions under duress regarding the voice recordings which have implicated him among others (including the President) in the rigging of the Ekiti elections. |
chamboy:Bless you. You captured the point the General was trying to make unlike the simple minded comments that litter this thread. |
Impressive strike, but I smell propaganda, if we were half as effective as this we wouldn't be discussing this now. Why all the excuses and references to the coming elections? |

The dog should be charged and a collar tied around his neck to match his barking. Until then, Ogars statement is as useless as Jona's chances at the polls. |
Jonathan deserves to be disqualified for being so audaciously clueless. Haba. |
These people... |
This is as sad as it is hilarious, Jonathan's handlers should be put on allowance by the APC for helping their campaign. |
Rubbish. The final kicks of a dying horse. |
Jonathan is between the devil and the deep blue sea, it is therefore in his best interest to embrace the devil and pay for his sins, than jump in the murky waters which hides a dozen serpents by postponing this election or trying to muscle his way against the will of the Nigerian people with the active connivance of his creek dogs. Anyway as the author stated; "How quickly warships can be destroyed with missiles that are remotely fired from a comfortable distance will be realized by these illiterate perpetrators and probably awaken the much needed sobriety in the consciousness of these intoxicated sons of Jah-most-high in the Marijuana creeks." |
The voice of Sunday Oibe, but the hands of Oritsejafor the bling bling illegal arms transporter. The entire population (including under-18's & Muslims) of the affected states cannot be more than 9 million, so why is the umbrella body of the church in Nigeria lying? I am a Christian & I say NO to election postponement. |
