Onyeka Aja who was a professional football in the Nigerian Premier League, a first team player with Wikki Tourist Football Club of Bauchi before an unfortunate accident he had with fellow teammates on their way to Katsina for an away match with Katsina United in September, 1999.

The most painful part was that the match was his last match for Wikki Tourist as he just signed a deal with a Belgian club.

Onyeka who was a defender in the team ended up with spinal cord injuries as a result of the fatal accident, and has since being incapacitated.

Today the once regular player has become a burden to his family, friends and colleagues as he now leaves from hand to mouth and finds it almost impossible to feed his wife and three kids.

According to his narration to Omatablog.com, the once spirited defender stated that the accident occurred under the government of Ahmad Adamu Mu’azu, the Executive Governor of the state at the time of the accident and the Governor in all kindness put the accident victims of the accident on life time salaries, Unfortunately, the successive governor, Malam Isa Yuguda stop the salaries and ever since life has been very difficult for Onyeka, who has found it very tough to carter for himself and his family.

He is using this medium to appeal to the incumbent governor, His Excellency, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed to come to his aid and support him in setting up a business to carter for him and his family.

Former Senator representing Kaduna West ,Shehu Sani urge President Buhari to re-appoint former minister of transportation,Rotimi Amaechi back to his former ministry.

Rotimi Amaechi should be re-appointed to finish what he has started,rail projects are yet to be completed and most rail lines and vogue contractual agreements are yet to be met says Shehu Sani.

There is an agreement between the Federal government and China to build railway stations across the country which the former minister over sees the project.

This massive projects has put the country in a huge debt and are been neglected at the moment because there is no current minister on that sector, Amaechi should complete the process he started and should be called back immediately to seal up the agreement with China


Rotimi Amaechi has told the presidency that the rail projects will generate N140 billionaire and creates over 3000 jobs in 10 years.

The immediate past Minister of Transportation,Rotimi Ameachi resigned his position from the ministry as he pursue his presidential ambition.

The former minister failed to clinch the presidential tickets for the party as he pulled 316 votes to beat Vice president Osinbajo,while Ahmed Bola Tinubu pulled a total votes of 1,271 to become the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC)

Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN and human rights activist, Festus Keyamo has berated the Peoples Democratic Party’s pdp for trying to tag “North” on the people of the north as an antics to win the Presidential election in 2023.


Festus Kayemo accussed pdp of its desperation to win the 2023 Presidential residential election by fielding a northern candidate,as he assures APC will still retain power even if Buhari leaves office in 2023.

Mr Kayemo said the @OfficialAPCNg 2015 victory was because of an additional ‘Buhari effect’, and not just because Buhari was a Northern candidate.

There have been an uproar from certain qauters on where the presidency should be zoned to, while many are of the opinion that power must go back to the south for fairness and equity.

Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu is an advocate of power rotation,appeals to the rulling party that there should be equity and fairness in order to gain back confidence on the party.

Some political analyst says the former vice president of Nigeria,Atiku Abubarkar emergence as the party flag-bearer is a work over as the people of the North will massively vote for the former VP as against any southern candidates.
