To get car is the way to go in this country oo. This waka don Dey tire me. Please if you have any advice on best application to monitor and get good deal for bus and trail let me know. Also , where can I get the bus card. I have asked but their accent is giving me heartburn

Good morning people,
I applied for my NI immediately I got my brp 2 days after I got into London. I used my hotel address hoping it'll be ready just like the brp (I never knew that was not a good one.) I applied on Feb 5 and I have left the hotel since Feb 8. I was told it'll be ready in 16 weeks so I was chilling. Not until a friend who entered last week got his own yesterday.
I called the hotel immediately to confirm if they received any package on my behalf and they said no. Please, how do I track to know it has been delivered, or if not, how can I change the delivery address to my new address. People I asked said it should have been delivered by now.
Please I need help. I got a job through a referral but I couldn't push through because NI was requested.

It's quite interesting to read that racist locals can be an issue in that part of scotland. I'm curious to know if this is peculiar to Paisley. I have always found the Scots and Irish to be the most accommodating of all four nations. Infact, Glaswegians are the most friendliest of all.

There's bound to be dredge of society everywhere, but I'm yet to have a single racist encounter in over 10years of living scotland. I experienced racism living in three cities in England over a period of 7years before relocating to scotland.

I'm about 2 weeks in UK with wife n 2 kids

Just finished my quarantine and ready for work life.

Sent out numerous CV for care worker/assistant role.

Got couples of calls, but they keep asking for at least 1 month UK experience. Some even ask if am moniker and have driving license.

Need guys with experience to tell me how to go about this asap.

Need to start making some money ASAP.

Aside from the care home jobs, I need recommendation of a credible security training outfit that I can take up their course for SIA License.

I am already working out on keeping the kids here but will like to give more insight.

My 16yr kid will turn 17 by April and was in final class in Nigeria b4 we moved. He is expected to register for WAEC latest tomorrow, write WAEC & JAMB before June. I have not be able to secure permanent accommodation yet and all my kids are not back to school after 3wks in Scotland. I am just thinking allowing him to return will give additional opportunity to possibly apply to any other university/college outside UK. I know that will be at a cost.

The house search is causing me serious stress and making it difficult to take a clear decision.

A friend just told me something that I have not been able to confirm officially anywhere and i would appreciate clarity. While I am well aware that your family must be in UK to be eligible to apply for the post study visa route, He said that they must be residing in the UK not less than 6 MONTHS to the planned date of application and sent some youtube videos to back it up.

I haven't seen anything like that in the government sites concerning durations and so I decided to bring it here for more information. How long is officially required as stay period before application?

I applied to the University of South Wales and got my CAS today, but I feel they made a mistake on the English Course Grade section because I applied using NECO SSCE. Instead they wrote WAEC WASSCE.

Please, anyone who got their CAS and applied using NECO should help clarify.
