1) if a job employs me, lets say virgin for example, and they sponsor me, and i land another job with another employer, can i use the sponsorship of the previous employer to keep working for the new employer? Or the previous employer will revoke their sponsorship?


2) do i need a transit visa to tour the city of doha. I have a layover at doha airport qatar. And its over 7hr layover. I'd like to tour nearby places at the city. I even heard there is a free tour right from the airport. Who has explored this before

Thank you icon8 for your input, I know mostly the care work visa is 3 years or 5 years and you need to work for that employer, switching role or job means the 5 years route will reset.
The question is, would corporate employer be willing to employ with Care visa?
How would I be able to convince employer that I am still relevant in my profession with care job? Those are my thinking really.

If you're on a skilled work visa, (and/or health and care visa- not completely sure), if you take up a second job, and you're working more than 20hours, you need sponsorship. REGARDLESS of the employer

I just had my son in Canada, the mum is PR holder there and the son is entitled to a Canadian passport but we hold a work visa here in the UK.
Can my son come with the Canada passport and convert to the work visa when he arrives or needs to apply from Canada? Thanks for the answers

Plz have a reread of what you posted again mayB I'm the one not comprehending right, the minimum requirement is 5 years and if within that 5 years there is any gap up to 6 months you must provide proof, I don't thin this means you can get it within 6 months of arriving in the UK fresh!
PS I think I have to re read and adjust all what I post so as not to come across rude as I have been told on here which by the way is not a true reflection of my post, all I post is for information purpose only.

SIA badges requires you to have 3 years in the Uk and b4 one has right to do security job and your vetting for security officer is 3 years that for door man is 5 years and for you to do these jobs you must have the rights to work which takes more than 5 years so where is the need for 9ja vetting?
Airport jobs same thing go your vetting periods are 3 to 5 years which you would have spent in the Ul already
Probation service this one off me, you cannot be a probation officer without having a 1st degree in probation service once again we know how long that takes in the Uni
Met police like UKBA is a reserved job for British citizens .
Look you guys should stop assumptions or giving misleading advice to guys on here.

I live in Scotland and have dealings with a few local authorities. I’m very sure you are not eligible for council housing if you are subject to immigration control. Housing association is different though as anyone can access this.

Council house/social housing is NOT public funds. It’s not free. It’s low cost housing offered to low income earners. We’ve discussed this issue months ago.

The bolded is NOT misleading. I suggested housing association cos it’s easier to get an apartment from them compared to the local council. Seem you’re not familiar with this topic and you just wanna jump on it.

Please, can a salary of 18-19k qualify for a skilled worker visa. The position is for a medical laboratory assistant and the post says those requesting sponsorship can also apply. I am confused because it is lower than the required rate from gov dot UK and I have been coming across similar vacancies.
