Mukina sharrap! ![]() Vierra, I know. I read the papers daily. But listen those guys want to sell those 9.9% worth of shares because they can see that the club is turning to sh*t! ![]() Other shareholders in the club would soon join the trend and you would be a full member of the LovePeddler club! ![]() |
Bla bla bla. . . Like I said before, you guys should encourage women to participate in political discussions more. Respect the ones who do and don't make silly comments at women's post. We should be one big happy family after that. |
Ok sweety. I am waiting for you to reveal the miracle formula that would make PDP win this year. Don't forget that they have the most stupid choice of candidate. If Koro wins, I would pack my bags and go live in Abeokuta, sharp sharp! ![]() |
All this politics of thuggery and criminals sef, i don tire o. ![]() |
@femilangy I can't believe an intelligent 'fine boy' like you just made that statement. ![]() If PDP is so powerful, then why have they not been able to grab control of Lagos state since 1999? Lagos is much more complicated that that. Make no mistake about it, AC would continue to rule Lagos for a very long time to come! Fashola is winning this coming election, if the area boys and agberos have anything to say about it. ![]() |
4Play, let me tell you why women seem uninterested in politics. It's because people like you are always surprised when women express interest in it or even in things like sports. I would give you an example. I remember a time when you had a bust up with me and Mukina in the sports section after you told her to go to the kitchen(or something like that) when she made a post. Another example is when I made a comment in a thread in the Politics section recently and Loyika asked me to bounce my *ss off to the dating zone (albeit light heartedly). I didn't take much offence to this, but it underlined the fact that you guys see politics and such as a 'guy' thing and are often surprised when women express interest in it. When you guys start to show more appreciation and respect for women who take interest in it, more women would be encouraged to come to this section. |
Buhari might not be corrupt, but I wouldn't vote for him, because I think he might have radical religious tendencies. I really wish Donald Duke was PDP's candidate. Then, I would have voted. I changed my mind about registering when Donald Duke lost the primaries. Why register when there's no one to vote for. ![]() |
A Lebanese in naija politics. Now I'm having a good laugh. He would not get up to 500 votes. ![]() |
Jimmy Agbaje is brilliant. But he is in the wrong party. Koro is a disgrace to the political sector. I told you all that he can't speak English! ![]() It seems Fashola would win the forthcoming election, all things being equal. There is nothing you or me can do about it (incumbency power). ![]() |
Seun, wait a minute, I hope you are not insinuating that people who do not take serious interest in politics are not serious minded! And why are you surprised when you see women interested in politics or sports? It's a pity that the women on nairaland are not that much interested in politics, but it doesn't say anything about our IQ. |
That's a big fat lie. 5% ko 5% ni. ![]() |
And your club is about to join the trend. At least that's what tabloids have been saying. Welcome to the LovePeddler club mate! ![]() |
Great! So we can say that for every 2 nairaland boys, there is a nairaland girl. So why do you guys expect so much from us. By the way, I disagree with that saying that women are more talkative. It's the other way round! ![]() |
Yea. Seun, your response please. Talk true o. . . ![]() |
Come to think of it, you guys should be realistic. How many women do we have on nairaland? Seun, please answer that. I bet there are more men than women here. |
4Play, what's that thing that Muki likes to say to you? Thunder scatter your keyboard! ![]() All these silly little boys. I tire sef! ![]() |
Here we have it again. This egotistic, dumb, annoying and out rightly irritating boys. 4play, why am I not surprised at your post? Who says women do not comment in politics? Go and read all the threads on this forum. Note how many political threads women have started. Also note the number of posts from women. You guys mostly ignore the posts we make anyway. Dump and irritating thread! |
Loyika, Salsa is much more exciting than the tango or flamenco and the beat is exciting. Infact, its more exciting, in my opinion, than the cha cha or merengue. That is why it is becoming very popular in the modern world today. It is similar to samba, except that there is more free-styling in the samba and its a bit more complex. Salsa is a dance for couples. It's quite romantic. Wormy, I would love to post pictures of myself, except that they wouldn't look as beautiful as those ones up there. The pics up there are those of the world salsa championships in 2005 and that's the reason for the clothes. Those guys are pros o. As for the closeness: - Its a romantic couples dance. Quite sexy, if you ask me. ![]() |
Salsa is much better for women than other dance forms because it tones your legs and abdominal area. In other words, it can give you sexy legs and a flat tummy, if taken seriously! ![]() |
Why would she throw up? It's not likely, except she's pregnant. |
Trust me, when you're dancing salsa for the first time, the last thing you'ld be thinking about would be how close the girl is to you. There would be a lot going through your mind, like how to make sure the lady you are spinning doesn't fall flat on her face by accident! ![]()

Salsa is usually a partner dance form that corresponds to salsa music. In some forms, it can also appear as a performance dance. The word is the same as the Spanish word salsa meaning sauce, or in this case flavor or style. According to testimonials from musicologists and historians of music, the name salsa was gradually accepted among dancers throughout various decades. The very first time the word appeared on the radio was a composition by Ignacio Piñeiro, dedicated to an old black man who sold butifarras (a sausage-like product) on Central Road in Matanzas, Cuba. It is a song titled Échale salsita, wherein the major refrain and chorus goes "Salsaaaaa! échale salsita, échale salsita". During the early 1950s, commentator and DJ "bigote" Escalona announced danceables with the title: "the following rhythm contains Salsa". Finally, the Spanish-speaking population of the New York area baptized Celia Cruz as the "Queen of Salsa". Salsa is danced on music with two bars of four beats. Salsa patterns typically use three steps during each four beats, one beat being skipped. However, this skipped beat is often marked by a shifting of weight from one foot to the other. Typically the music involves complicated percussion rhythms, ranging from slow at about 120 beats per minute to its fastest at around 180 beats per minute (see salsa music for more). Salsa is a slot or spot dance, i.e., unlike Foxtrot or Samba, in Salsa a couple does not need to travel over the dance floor much (although they could, if there was space and the lead decided to do so), but rather occupies a fixed area on the dance floor. The basic movement occurring in the dance patterns of the various salsa styles is the stepping on the beat of the music. Salsa is best grouped in pairs of 4-beat patterns counted "1-2-3-, -5-6-7-, ". The leader starts on count 1 by stepping with the left foot. On count 2 and 3, they step with right and left, respectively. On count 4, the lead pauses or makes an optional tap with the right foot. On counts 5, 6, and 7, they step with right, left, and right, respectively, again followed by a pause on count 8. As a standard, every step must be taken with full weight transfer. The follower part is identical, but shifted by 4 beats, so that as the leader's left foot steps forward, the follower's right foot steps back. In most styles, the leader starts with the left foot and the follower starts with the right foot regardless of the pattern about to be danced. Source: - Wikipedia |
