Muki don't mind them jare. Most of the guys here are chickens. Or maybe they are too ugly to post their pictures. ![]() Debosky has not made any comment about my posting his pic o! ![]() |
Sharrap Muki, there's nothing wrong with a man doing favours for his fellow Villa man. ![]() |
Here's the opinion of an English footie fan on the issue. - " If you compare the amount of deaths caused by each team liverpool are well and truley top of the league, and lets not forget about the poor waiter who had his head caved in by one of the low lifes, they have not learnt their lessons, the two season chelsea had to play them in the semis saw liverpool fans turn up at stamford bridge late drunk and without tickets assaulting the female stewards and trying to force the safety gate, and this was witnessed by more than one chelsea fan, on leaving the ground like the good boys they and their club try and portray this filth to be they were, spitting at women and children pushing past them and generally being scum, nothing new there then, when chelsea played them at the old trafford in the fa cup semi they smashed toilets and sinks of the walls and mocked man u's munich dead by writing abusive messages on the walls in human excretment. They are without a doubt the lowest form of human life on the planet and the sooner the fa or uefa have the courage and balls to do something about them the sooner every other football fan the world over will be a hell of a lot safer. But that said, the club doesnt deserve to be punished, they can't control or choose what filth they have for fans, so make it simply a complete ban for liverpools travelling scum, not just for one year but for life. Afterall, a leopard doesn't change its spots and years after hillsborough, they have shown and proven this to be true! Don't ban lfc from europe, the ucl would be a poorer competition for them not being in it but do ban their low life fans! Afterall, even when they did fill 3 sides of a stadium compared to milans one they still couldnt lift their players to a win like milans did, so they wont be missed, so much for the famous 12th man lmao ! " This is the opinion of just one English fan. If you ask others, they would tell you something similar. Manchester United's fans can be loud, noisy and violent, but they do not perpetrate as much criminal acts as Liverpool's fans. How can you be stealing tickets from little children for God's sake. Haba. How can you be stealing from your fellow fans and harrasing women. ![]() How can any normal fan use his excrement to write on the walls in the bathrooms of his opponents when visiting? Like the guy said, Liverpool fans have caused more deaths than the fans of any other footie club, so let's give the matter a rest. |
Well, I'm happy because the guy is from my village. He's Idoma (Otukpo, Benue State). ![]() Being my village man, I hope he'll have plenty of government contracts for me o! Or maybe a political appointment. ![]() David Mark, I hope you're listening. ![]() |
WITH a wide margin of 68 to 39 votes, former Army General, David Bonaventure Alechenu Mark, yesterday beat the former Governor of his Benue State, Mr. George Akume, to become the sixth Senate President of the Fourth Republic. Incidentally, it is also the sixth Senate of the sixth National Assembly. By 12.03 p.m., Senate President Mark took the oath of office as his supporters backslapped, laughed, and hugged. Ike Ekweremadu was also elected Deputy Senate President after Mark had taken his seat. The dramatic election was presided over by the Clerk of the National Assembly, Alhaji Nasir Arab; his deputy, Kola Ogunyomi; and other officials of the National Assembly. The drama that led to the election of Mark began at 9.13 a.m. when the lawmakers began arriving at the chamber in trickles. At 10.20 a.m., Arab in the traditional flowing black robe and white wig came into the Chambers with his officials. At 10.24 a.m., he read a letter proclaiming the new National Assembly from President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua. A roll call of members was taken, but only a little over 70 members were seated. The Clerk of the Senate had to repeat the roll call twice as senators continued to come in. In the end, only one Senator-elect, former Governor Chimaroke Nnamani of Enugu State was absent. No reason was given on the floor for his absence. All through the reading of the roll, former Governor Sani Ahmed Yerima of Zamfara State appeared restless as he continued to lobby his colleagues for Akume. As soon as the Clerk announced that 108 senators were present, he declared that the election into the Office of Senate President and Deputy Senate President would be guided by the 1999 Constitution and the Senate Rule book. He called for nominations. Lee Maeba took the floor and proceeded to tell the Senators-elect how the PDP hierarchy had picked Mark as its consensus candidate. He also referred to Senate Rule 97(1)(f) which required election and appointments to be based on ranking. Maeba reeled out Mark's military career and noted that the preferred candidate had served the Senate for two terms between 1999 and 2007. The senator from Rivers State added that Mark served meritoriously in several senate committees. Patrick Osakwe, who seconded the nomination of Adolphus Wabara same time four years ago, played the same role yesterday. According to him, Mark "will be a square peg in a square hole." Osakwe said that the election of Mark as Senate President would foster a good working relationship with the executive arm of government. Mark thereafter rose to "humbly and gracefully" accept the nomination. There was applause in the Chamber. However, Akume and Yerima were among the group that did not clap. The Clerk asked if there were other nominations. Suleiman Nazif of the Action Congress (AC) from Bauchi State rose to nominate Akume also of the PDP. Some senators began to ask loudly that Nazif state his political party, but he ignored them. The Clerk cautioned against the disturbance because party affiliation was not a requirement to nominate anyone. Caleb Zagi from Kaduna South (PDP), another freshman who graduated from the House of Representatives, seconded the nomination. Zagi quoted Sections 50 and 52 of the constitution and Section 3 of the Senate Rules Book to back his nomination of the former governor. He faulted claims that Section 97(1)(f) barred non-ranking senators from contesting the Senate presidency. According to him, the rule could only come into play after enators had been sworn in. Akume rose to accept the nomination, but his nervousness showed when he began to state that he had been "Governor since 1977". His opponents booed, but the former governor quickly stopped himself and accepted the nomination. There was silence as the Clerk of the National Assembly asked if there were other nominations. For a few seconds, no one moved. But then, Senator Dahiru Awaisu Kuta (PDP, Niger West) raised his hand. The silence became very obvious as the Senators began exchanging glances. Kuta nominated Nuhu Aliyu, former Police Deputy Inspector General, and Senator since 1999. He eulogized Aliyu, whom he described as a ranking Senator of note. Bala Mohammed seconded the nomination. And yet came another nomination. Satty Gogwin, the man who stopped former Deputy Senate President Ibrahim Mantu from returning to the chamber nominated Gbemi Saraki from Kwara State. For a while, it appeared that there would be no seconder until another returnee Senator from Kwara State, Ahmed Mohammed declared his support. She accepted the nomination. As soon as the nominations closed at 11.30 a.m , Aliyu asked the Clerk to clarify the Senate Rule on ranking. Arab told him: "We are not going into that, we are just going into voting, and it is going to be by simple majority." Aliyu withdrew from the race, declaring that he was stepping down for Akume. Arab told him to simply step down without mentioning the name of who he was stepping down for. At 11.32 a.m., Saraki also stepped down. Arab called the movers and seconders of the nominations of Mark and Akume to come forward. The Clerk then proceeded to call senators one by one as they openly declared their votes. All the former Governors on the floor - Yerima, Adamu Aleiro (Kebbi), Ahmed Markarfi (Kaduna), Bukar Abba Ibrahim (Yobe), Saminu Turaki (Jigawa) and Akume voted against Mark, prompting a Senator to declare that "it was a rude awakening to reality" for them. |
Well well well. . . It seems Sheva is not going anywhere afterall. Chelsea has said Sheva is going to stay, so that's the end of that! ![]() Personally, I think that's a good idea, as I believe the guy would be in better shape and form next season. Let's keep our fingers crossed. ![]() http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002390000-2007260057,00.html |
Yum yum yum! ![]() |
Hmmmm. . . I rest my case. ![]() |
Hmmm. . . That's your opinion. What's the likelyhood of Chimbonda coming to Chelsea? Have Tottenham officials said they want to sell him? ![]() |
I understand your point. But we have been critised for having slow players and boring games. We should add some flashy guys with quick feet to our squad to boost the entertainment quality of our games (for the enjoyment of our critics ).Alves is faster and flashier than Chimbonda. and he's young, so we can get a lot of quality years off him. ![]() |
Mr Kola, abeg no talk like that o. We all know that we have a right back problem, so this would be a perfect solution to the problem. The guy is still young and very talented. Besides, I won't call him a 'high profile' player. He is just perfect. ![]() He is very much attack minded and would make our game interesting. The only problem with him is that he doesn't play defensively, but we can leave that to the other boys to handle. Jose would make good use of him if we sign him. ![]() |
Guys, I've got some wonderful news. There's gist in the media that Chelsea is about to sign a very good right back, Daniel Alves from Sevilla. ![]() Read http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002390000-2007250844,00.html Liverpool has been interested in this guy for a while but it seems we are going to beat them to it! ![]() The gist is that we would give Sevilla Paulo Ferriera or Boulahrouz and pay Sevilla about 12 million pounds for the Brazillian (Alves). ![]() I hope this is true, because the guy is young (24) and he has a reputation of being one of the hardest tacklers in La Liga. ![]() If we sign him and one more central defender , midfielder and an entertaining Striker, we should be ok and our games wouldn't be boring no more! ![]() If we sign Alves, Benitez would hate us forever! He'll never forgive us! ![]()

Kitaun, fi mi lorun le o! Abi I be UEFA staff? ![]() |
Mukina, I will beat you o! ![]() |
Loyika, you are beginning to piss me off o! ![]() Why are you trying to spoil my thread? Stop going offtopic! ![]() If you want to talk about Lampard, you can create a thread for him, or go to an existing thread. This thread is for the unruly Liverpool fans. Kapish! ![]() |
Muki, You mean these pics?

Innocent Dog ![]() A man is taking a walk in Central park in New York. Suddenly he sees a little girl being attacked by a pit bull dog . He runs over and starts fighting with the dog. He succeeds in killing the dog and saving the girl's life. A policeman who was watching the scene walks over and says: "You are a hero, tomorrow you can read it in all the newspapers: "Brave New Yorker saves the life of little girl" The man says: - "But I am not a New Yorker!" "Oh ,then it will say in newspapers in the morning: 'Brave American saves life of little girl'" - the policeman answers. "But I am not an American!" - says the man. "Oh, what are you then? " The man says: - "I am a Saudi !" The next day the newspapers says: "Islamic extremist kills innocent American dog |
RuuDie:LMAO Ruudie. That was funny. ![]() |
Em Em. . . Loyika and Viee, that article that Viee posted was about HISTORY, not the present. There was a time in history that Chelsea fans were known to be violent, but that has all changed now. Manure and Yankeepool have taken over in that regard. ![]() And even then, Chelsea fan's were never known to steal from little Children. ![]() |
Viee, haba! It wasn't me that made these claims o. They came from UEFA's mouth. I am only veryfing them, based on what I've heard from English soccer fans. ![]() |
RuuDie:Liverpool has very few fans here in Nigeria, so I can't say much about their behaviour. But from what I've heard from English soccer forums, Liverpool fans are the worst. There was a poll in a major English forum some time ago (I think it was BBC or Sun), where English fans were asked to vote for who had the most unruly fans. Liverpool won that poll, followed by Manchester United. ![]() Ask any English footie fan, and he would tell you that the scousers are unruly beyond words! |
Loyika, the Rome and Seville events happened away from the stadium. And it was between fans of opponent clubs. It's a big shame however, that Liverpool fans should steal tickets from their fellow fans and little children. How disgusting! ![]() |
Loyika, you know what makes me laugh? I always knew you would abandon Arsenal and support another club by next season. I knew it would be either Chelsea or Liverpool. So it's Liverpool, ehn? ![]() You dey take style-style comot yansh for Arsenal, abi? ![]() If you've decided to quit Arsenal, why join a team of bandits and criminals! ![]() |
Loyika! ![]() Sweetheart, Russians do not steal from children at match venues. Ruffians (a.k.a. Liverpool fans) do that. ![]() |
Listen Ope_emi, it is not a secret that Liverpool fans are the worst in England. Just go and check any major English Sporting forum and you would understand my point. ![]() Liverpool fans, and not the club, are the subject of contention here. They are unruly and mostly ruffians. ![]() UEFA has nothing against Liverpool itself, just their fans. ![]() |
loyika:Dem get jazz. ![]() loyika:Mind yourself o. ![]() loyika:UEFA doesn't need to say anything. It's obvious that chelsea fans are the best already! ![]() loyika:Says who? ![]() loyika: ![]() loyika:Loyika, what UEFA said is quite true. This has nothing to do with politics. If you are going to make a claim like that, then you need to give us some proof. Please sir, tell us why UEFA hates Liverpool so much! |
Loyika, did you have to go offtopic? Yeye boy! ![]() This thread is about Liverpool's shitty fans and not about gerrard! ![]() Mind yourself o! Agbaya! ![]() |
UEFA have condemned Liverpool fans as the "worst behaved in Europe". The Reds supporters were criticised for their role in the crowd chaos at last month's Champions League final against AC Milan in Athens. There were violent scenes outside the Olympic Stadium as fans — both with and without tickets — battled to get in the ground. UEFA launched a scathing attack on Liverpool's followers in the aftermath of the match. And a report due to be released tomorrow by European football's governing body will land another blow. UEFA president Michel Platini will deliver the results of a four-year investigation to sports minister Richard Caborn in Brussels. It is understood the report will order Liverpool to improve security checks on supporters who follow the club overseas. It is based on evidence from undercover police officers and includes 25 incidents involving Reds fans at away games in Europe since 2003. But Liverpool's Lord Mayor Paul Clark has hit back at the report. He said: "UEFA appear to be trying to avoid the blame for the disorganisation of the final. "To make matters worse, instead of looking at their own faults UEFA are blaming the people of Liverpool. "Saying this is typical of Liverpool fans is unfair and reflects badly on the image of the city." See http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002390000-2007250726,00.html and http://www.football365.com No be me talk am o, na UEFA! ![]() |
Thank You Big B1 for this thread. I believe that a law should be made that limits the number of expatriates a Nigerian company can have in her Management. In my company, the management has no faith in Nigerias. The Accountant is Indian. The Marketing Manager is Indian. The Factory manager is Indian. The Store Keeper is Lebanese. The General Manager is Lebanese. The only two Nigerians in Management are the Chairman and the Human Resources Manager. The only other Nigerians in the company are secretaries, personal assistants, technicians, e.t.c. The Government needs to formulate a policy that would force companys to have Nigerians in half of their senior management positions. Haba. |
Listen guys, I think we shouldn't just show our face at the nations cup at all. Can you imagine what Drogba would do to that our useless defence? ![]() Even Kalou would give us some footie practice. ![]() Boy o boy. . . I love naija! ![]() |
Well, ruud boi, we've got to do something about your sense of humour, because it really sucks! |
Ronaldinho and the rest of the Brazil team are all at the Wembley dressing room laughing and joking at how they are going to beat England. So Ronaldinho stands up and says: 'Chaps, why don't you go to the pub, have a few beers and enjoy yourself while I take on England on my own.' The rest of the Brazil squad look perplexed, then all agree it is a damn fine idea and off they go to the pub. The game starts and proceeds normally, 11 England players v 1 Brazil player. The rest of the Brazil team ask the landlord to switch the TV over to the match and start shouting, laughing and celebrating, England 0 - Brazil 1, and so they carry on drinking and celebrating. After quite a while they remember the match and ask the landlord to check what the final score was and it was England 0 - Brazil 1. Full time and Ronaldinho had beaten England on his own, AWESOME!! The Brazil players rush back to the stadium only to see Ronaldinho sobbing uncontrollably saying: 'I am sorry, I have let you down.' 'What are you talking about? you beat England on your own!' replied his teammates. 'Yeah, but I got sent off 12 minutes into the first half' came Ronaldinho's meek reply, www.football365.com |
