It is ridiculous how everyone tags APC the evil party. On the contrary, they have exuded better noetic acuteness than the PDP.

Why will the PDP parade an unqualified candidate for the election? In a sane society, the PDP, INEC and other screening agencies, including the President who danced kokoma with the candidate will be issuing sincere apologies to the citizenry.

The APC have channeled their grievances to the right entity, the Judiciary and they are tagged as enemies of democracy for this appropriate gesture. It is pertinent to let the court decide accordingly. One positive attribute of the present administration has been the independence of the Judiciary to an appreciable extent.

The Ekiti case is as simple as the Adamawa case. Closed!

It is inappropriate to give people job on political merit other than intellectual wit.

It would have been more appropriate if the news cited that these job seekers resumes were sorted according to their respective disciplines of study and on this basis given special considerations for appointment in principle subject to a final mandatory verification of their credentials and intellectual abilities.

Please disregard the anomaly during the last elections; we (Ekiti people) still believe in value and quality.

Unsure of what part of the world your ancestors are from, but I know that courtship was fostered by previous generations.

Through relationships, people evolve and get to know eachother better. There is nothing wrong in going into a relationship if you mutually accept your present state of affairs. Getting married requires more efforts and is not a measure of time.

It is better to seemingly waste 4 years of your life learning the intrigues of relating with a future partner and take such lessons learned to a better relationship, than a lifetime of misery. For this couple, their bane may not be physical attraction but lack of financial wherewithal.

My reference to 2019 is because that is the maximum the present President can stay if he bends all apparatus of government just to get a re-election. Think outside the box my brother. Shamefully, societal pressure has led us to believe that the event called wedding is a mandatory dependency for survival. Unfortunately it should not be so.

If the conversation is culled from a true life experience, I deeply pity the lady and completely respect the guy. It is very tough for any husband to build a suitable home with a contemporary and modern day wife with a remuneration of N120,000 per month.

I remember years ago when I was basking in the euphoria of getting married because I had few millions stashed somewhere, how a senior colleague called me and said "wedding is a day's event but marriage lasts a life time". It made little sense at the time because I was getting married to my Dearly beloved whom I had known for 11 years and dated actively for 9 years.

Today we have gone through several storms of marital life and have only been able to remain strong because I yearned for it without being coerced and she has remained content thus far. If she had exhibited any overriding and desperate attribute of the female respondent in the subject conversation, we definitely would have hit the rocks.

I have seen many blissful weddings lead to eternal traumas for the parties involved. I have seen many men develop kleptomaniac vices because of the insatiable desires of their wives fashioned after the similitude of "I want what my friends have".

If indeed the female respondent truly desires to settle and marry her male respondent, she needs to reassure him of her readiness to leave her high horse, receive an inexpensive engagement ring that he can afford without pomp and pageantry; get married at the registry at a mid week service, host few family and friends at an eatery to cut costs on an expensive reception; and settle with him wherever he can afford even if it is the most remote of places. Thereafter, they should join efforts to save and plan for the advent of kids.[i][/i]

If unwilling to accept the aforementioned conditions, she should pray fervently for her man to immediately land a suitable job with a pay that will meet her lifestyle demands. Until then I advise she stays in the relationship and continue to enjoy the comfort of her man.

I seriously marvel at the sudden turn around and vehement vituperation by FFK against his penultimate cohorts turned enemies. This I why soldiers sabotage the efforts of the few who remain gallant. Are soldiers not human? These men are complaining of inadequacy of combat equipment and infrastructure, and the COAS action is to issue threats. Soldiers are dying everyday with no insurance to cover their families' support after their demise. What we keep hearing is they will procure more weapons. When some Governors raised the uproar that BH was better equipped, those Governors were tagged anti-government. Several fine officers and combatant soldiers have passed away since then.

To fight a war of this magnitude you need to keep the morale high. Unfortunately, our men have lost theirs. Since I was born till date I have never seen the amount of resistance we are seeing today from our soldiers.

Instead of issuing threats, they should re-plan the intelligence network, improve welfare, introduce adequate insurance and immediately get these men the weapons they require to put an end to this scourge.

Leadership is about influencing and motivating. Management is about, directing, coordinating, organizing and controlling resources.

I am surprised at the heap of venom stirred at the OP.

He has basically highlighted an irritating display of unwarranted and unsolicited breach by service providers who send spam SMS to subscribers in dozens on a daily basis. One of the corresponding consequence of these unsolicited SMS is the natural reaction to ignore the SMS tone since the world no longer trends by SMS but through other social medial chatting platforms. Though some of us may take a peep at all times to check all Text messages as they come, there is no denying the fact that we assume the service providers are at work again, since 90% of received SMS these days are from them.

What stunned me, is the OP's patience to chronicle all of the SMS for the purpose of the topic!

U expect to take a picture of an individual without his consent and demand he either pays for it in accordance with your estimated selling price/worth OR he returns the item which bears his image. I think he was magnanimous to have offered you a token. If you insist on this smear campaign, I will suggest the bearer of the picture refute further attempt to negotiate a price and thereafter you both mutually agree on a suitable date to destroy the picture. He has a right to resist your ownership or any use of an item bearing his image.
