I expect every Nairalander should at least agree and condemn this morally retrogressive decision to reappoint a man who has been alleged with evidence to have supported rigging an election with no efforts to investigate by the central government controlled State Service, a man who abandoned the same position in the heat of the insurgency few months ago to pursue his personal ambition, a man who lost at the primaries and feels it is his birthright to return to this same sensitive position, a man who cannot be said to have made any impact during his previous appointment.

I have no business with Tinubu. If there is any iota of evidence of his culpability in the murder of anyone, he should be prosecuted accordingly. Ranting and accusing on NL with no action by the federal government is an indictment of how inept and irresponsible this government is.

In saner climes, during re-election campaign, incumbents use the opportunity to visit areas and zones where they have made the most impact in their first terms.

In Nigeria, our incumbent President uses the future English tense of "I will do". In the absence of any notable project outside the FCT he can only rely on any symbolic element of pre-election goodwill which some citizens have alleged are heavily being paid for.

Whether they are cursing or praying for him, he would definitely not know. At this junction, I assume his mind was on the next set of supposed influential trado-religious entities he would be visiting next for the repeat of a similar pasquinade.

Without the right enabling environment, no one can function optimally. Without the right motivation, results cannot be achieved. Soldiers do not join the army to die, they join to protect our sovereignty and to win wars. They are human and should be accorded with right level of empathy.

I am surprised when I read that there is no "street light pole" in Rivers State. The entire Stadium Road and Old Aba Road to mention a few are always lit at night.

The truth is, Obj and Jonathan until yesterday, belonged to the same nest of irresponsible politicians who think governance is solely by looting. The duo and their shameful party have poorly captained this ship for the last 16years with so little to show. Will it be inappropriate for Nigerians to try another party?

I think Pa Fayose should be more concerned about the poor conduct of his son as heard by the world via that pre-election rigging tape where a General was coerced to intimidate the opposition and it was confirmed by Ministers that money was being moved in vans from the CBN for the purpose of inducing voters.

I do not think APC is the final solution to the issues militating against this country. I however think they are miles ahead in noetic acuity and vision than the present administration. Our President does not ever have facts or figures at media chats but controversies. His touted achievements are also of insignificant impacts after spending so much.

Stunning how someone will claim to have reformed the power sector and there is still no light but increase in bill; build universities with infrastructure that are no way better than sewing institutes; revamp airports that are falling apart before commissioning; supposed gains in fertilizer distribution with no corresponding reduction in prices of food items at the open market; and lastly revamp old interstate railway lines with nominal patronage or impact on other forms of transportation along those routes.

Strategic management is way different from management by trial. The latter is my assessment of PDP, especially GEJ's administration. The former is my assessment of APC, especially Fashola's administration, though a lower portfolio!

Stealing, pilfering and conversion for personal use of public funds are elements of corrupt practices.

A wise President would have used the last media chat as an opportunity to correct his previous gaffe on the subject by vehemently condemning either act as an anti-social behaviour. Now to the content of your own post. Has Don Jazzy made a new Dbanj? No. Has he made great hits like he always does with Dbanj? Yes. Have there been economic benefits to him and his crew? Yes. In my opinion, this is how you measure success. Ability to identify new talent and stay consistent and steadfast in providing and maintaining the apposite quality known for.

I concur that Dbanj has attempted giant leaps since the split. However, are there notable hits from him since he left? No. Sustainability relates to relevance till the future not immediate happenings. If he is unable to improve his ratings with hits at home in Nigeria to earn him accolades and awards which he was known for while with Don Jazzy, the supposed international goodwill you lay claim to may fizzle away with the wind. If international Grammy award winners can file for bankruptcy then anyone can.

Are you not concerned that a government facility has been left unkept after use by a party with no efforts by anyone to clean the mess? Are you unaware that rents are to be paid by organizations for use of public facilities, and it is from such rents that the facilities are maintained? Did the PDP make requisite payment to the State government after the forceful use of the facility? If yes, then we blame the State government. If no, then PDP should arrange for clean up!
