@real truth. Pastor kumuyi is nd remains IMO, a standard bearer nd an uncompromising man of God. Having said dt, lemme try 2 explain sm of your questns.1. Evn in d deeper life churches in europe nd america, u stil find many wt uncovered heads. D bible made us 2 understand in 1 corinthians 11:5,6,15 that a woman shld cover her hair. Bt in verse 15, d bible say that 'but if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a COVERING. This means that a woman with natural long hair(not attachment o) can say that her hair is a covering. D europeans r used 2 dt as a way of life nd u can't just expect a pastor 2 climb a pulpit nd start condemning pple. Even Jesus did nt condemn d love-peddler bt told her 2 go nd sin no more. If they read d bible, they wil find answers. U can't force urself on anybody. If a pastor doesn't invite Kumuyi, wil he just gatecrash into his church? B4 d pastor nd his wife invited Kumuyi, they must have known or heard wat he stands for bt yet, they stil invited him. Y wil miracles nt take place there wen they've clearly prepared themselves 2 listen 2 God's word.
So the Deeper life in europe and america serve a different God than the ones in Africa and Nigeria? The thing is,,,its almost absolutely difficult to use religion control people in the west,,,because they ve had a history of a fair amount of people being manipulated by religion,,,,,

And who says anything is wrong with a lady wearing a trouser or not covering hair. The ukraine experience should prove to you God is not concerned about those things we religiously fight over. The bible says that God doesnt look at the outward appearance but at the heart . If he heals a woman in pants and she was acceptable in his sight , we ought to check our theology.
Its sad when we see the truth looking into our faces and we can't say its the truth,,,,,ask any member of CEC,,,to go to Deeper life church service on a with their jeans trousers and their hair uncovered,,,then you would know better. Or do you want to tell me you re not aware of RCCG classical and Model parishes,,,,whereas the classical dresses like deeper life and the model dresses like Christ embassy,,,,,
My concern is the leaders of these churches are putting their members in perpetual confussion,,,if am a member of RCCG,,,I definitely would prefer attending the model parish as compare to the classical,,,,

Why is it hard for the likes of you to respect that everyone have different opinions and life choices? If everyone believes in the same thing or does the same thing the WORLD would be boring. Accept diversity and move on.
Hey Mrs Chima,,,, I ve not in any way in all my posts or comments infringe on peoples or individuals to exercise their choices,,,you could read and try comprehend my comments,,,,bottomline is this,,,If people knew or have opportunities to expand their horizons or increase their chances of coming to a point of making choices having had the ability to choose from many choices and not limited ones.

Christianity EtcRe: Christainity More Than Just A Religion by REALTRUTH1: 12:13am On Apr 19, 2011
emmanuel4j:
What is religion? Religion is a mans way of approach to GOD inotherwords religion is a mans idealogy of God.Today, we have a lot of religion around the world supposing that each is a right and reliable way to reach God. Nevertheless what defines a religion being right and being the truth? is it just because it has some good rules created by man and is appealing to the senses of humans or is it because is actually God who has said this is the right way to follow me.God is a big God and he has set his laws in the earth, for the fact that your ideas on morals are good, doesnt necessarily mean thats what God considers, on how to approach him.Anyman on his own can create a religion and say it is from God, he can even lead a lot of people following him, and all the rules he sets may seem right to him and the people following him, because they believe thats how to reach God not necessarily because God himself said thats the way to follow him.God is giver of life, everything he comes into receives life, and this is one major proof that God is in something, because death is of the devil, and God has revealed this life in his son Jesus christ, (john 3:16). When a man accepts Christ he receives the life Jesus came to give to the world and this is the life of God to bring man out of the nature of death. This is more than some sets of rules, is actually God imparting a nature into a man to enable him live the GOd life, this is Go
Christianity as its pracitced today is a typical definition of RELIGION as you stated above,,mostly in Nigeria,,,There are more than 40,ooo(Fourty-Thousand denominations right now in Christianinity and they all have different belief system,,God is not the author of confussion,,I believe in Jesus ,,God,,the Bible ,,but I do not believe in the most of the churches we have today as christian church,,,

"All true progress has been caused by new ideas that came about through the willingness to question what most people see as unquestionable. You are more than your beliefs. If one of your beliefs turns out not to be true, you won't cease to exist. Relax, Question everything be curious and Imagine."
With all due respect to Pastor Kumuyi(Probably about the only Pastor I ve respect for in Nigeria),,why can't he preach to these white people and Pastor Suday Adelaja's wife that wearing of earings and pants(jeans trousers) and not covering of hair is a sin or unchristianed? If these people receive miracles with their hair uncovered,,why can't Deeper Life members in Ayobo Ipaja Lagos receive thesame miracles or worship God freely with their hair uncovered and wearing Jeans trousers?
This same question I have asked members of RCCG why is it there are two different sets of Church in RCCG?? why do we have the classical and the model parisheshuh in Classical they look like deeper life and in the model they look and appear like Christ embassy(Pastor Chris),,This to me is the height of confussion,,,or am I the only one seeing these things?
Finally, why can't Pastor Kumuyi go and preach at Chris OKotie's church or Christ embassy(Pastor Chris),,atleast these churches appears and looks like Sunday Adelaja's church,,,,
The truth is that so many things re wrong with the way Christianity is practices these days and absolutely no one of the promoters or business men pastors wants to come out openly to address these questions,,,

By postal services? undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided
Certainly not through postal services,,,and with your submission it simply buttrees the point that online dating is a reality. The crux of the matter with online dating,, just like any other dating is if the parties are in it for the right reasons. There are very great and dependable online dating sites in the US that has been in existence for almost or more than 20yrs,,,eharmony and Christian Cafe are examples,,,you would need to be a financial member to sign up and use their services,,,and yearly thousands of couple are getting hooked up.
If you live in the western world or US,,,you could verify these,,,but you can not access it from Nigeria because certain people in Nigeria has taken advantage of it by been fraudulent. My main thrust is that,,I am soon hoping to launch an online dating in Nigeria,,,,just watchout!!!!

@MissyB,,,so in all you have said what is your conclusion in a logical form? You agreed the world shouldn't be stagnant,,so doesn't that tell you the definition of TRADITIONAL? For every students of Economics,, its a common knowledge to know that taste and fashion changes over time,,
How in this world would you say that I do not understand the concept of TRADITIONAL even with clear cut explanation or definition that times and tides of the trends of the day, time or age defines what traditional implies?
In real sense I do not see any need to respond to your posts because you re only aggravated by the fact that you can't accept or do not want admit reality of online dating. Online dating is a reality of our time and its a big issue,,the more reason the poster have it on here.
In the US and Canada,,its a way of life,,,and there are countless single sites that has met several individual needs for spouse(s). There re a couple of sites such as eHarmony,,Christian singles,,etc,,,if you re based in Nigeria,,you definately would not be able access simply because of certain people fraudulent act,,,
Now as I speak to you,,there re people(even Pastors) in Nigeria who have singles network where eligible bachellors and spinsters meet to see if there is a connection that would culminate in to love and ultimately marriage. If online dating is not pronounce activity in Nigeria,,its only going to be a matter of time. When suggest that a young upward going young man should change his environment cos of meeting a lady of his environment,,,the question is what is the possibility of meeting with such lady in the environment he relocates to,,,when you re in a eharmony for instance where you would meet thousands of young eligible professionals looking for a spouse,,why would you want to change ur environment when you can actually bring the world to ur door stephuh?

Traditional Dating all the way.
Funny!! Having gone through all the posts or comments here,,,One thing I discovered is the very poor and weak abilities of Nigerians to handle very intellectual and serious debates/discussion. This is a debate you can not just come here and make s statement or phrase or a sentence to prove your point.
Coming here saying its traditional or its online dating without giving very logical and intellectual submission is a clear exposure of our intellectual deliduencies,,,

Which 1 is traditional again?? Well it doesnt matter where u met some1 wha matters ia the understanding if u guys are ok with each other. The only thing that has spoilt online dating is that there are so much fake @$$ ppl who claim what the aren't, so if we can be real & protrait what we truely are then online dating is the best( yahoo ppl don spoil online things finish so everything on line is attributed 2 fraud)
Its like saying there re no good pastors in Nigeria even if I personally do not ve regards for almost 90% of Pastors in Nigeria. Its like saying there re no good people in Nigeria even if more than reasonable percentage of Nigerians re bad. The truth is the internet would lay every thing bare,,,right now there re some online dating sites in Nigeria,,some pastors even have one.
Online dating helps you to expand ur horizon,,gives you a wider choice and opportunities,,,if you re lady who is marriage conscious and needed to be married,,and you want a working class guy,,if all the guys in ur neighbourhood or church re lazy and none ambious and you found guys who re looking for ur exact kind of woman but because you do not live anywhere close by,,,and there is this opportunity for you to meet guys online,,,pls tell me what you would do?? If I were you,,,,I would definitely look out for those guys and get myself hooked quickly,,,

When backward people discuss on serious issues,,they would always take you backward and to the cave. Years back who would ve thought that you can chat and ve a discussion with someone from the US while you re in Africa? who would ve thought decades ago that you could actually go to the space and discover breathtaking discoveries. Who,, I mean who would ve thought that you can actually fly from Africa to US in less than 10hours?? Who in their right senses seven decades ago that you actually transmit information to all over the world in less than a second??Who would have thought that by january this year a revolution would be sweeping the Arab world via the use of internet??absolutely no one.The traditional kind of TV set is black and white,,,people should now tell me hw many people right now ve Black and white TV even in Ajegunle??If you fail to get along with the trend of the day,,the future would definitely leave you behind.
Bottomline is this,,,we live in a life that is ever becoming increasing transformed by the changes of TRENDS of the day.
Now the proper question is who and what defines a traditional dating? It is traditional because the times, tides and trends of that period and age accepts it that way. The proper traditional dating of this age and time knows no boundaries and limits. As a guy,,a young man who is highly driven and upward going,,and he desires a wife who shares such passion,,if all the girls he sees in his neighborhood re backward driven without a focus,,,would you advise him to stick with such girls? my answer is NO!!  My personal advice is this,,Don't limit ur self!!!!

Listening to Chief Ebenezer Obey's track:
"ko sogbon to le da,
ko siwa to le wu,
ko sona to le gba,
to lefi ta'iye lorun oh!"
I wonder what the arguement would have looked like today
if we are online talking about how things has gone from bad to worse
for a 'gospel general' who could not afford to send his children to good school.
I knew way back in 1984 when this man sold all he had to start a church in KADUNA.
Where were all of u poke-nose then, some of u were not even born yet.
26 years gone and you expect the man to still be "suffering" for the gospel.
If he were your uncle, father or senior brother, I ask you;
will you come here to say he is achieve too much or getting too rich in his work?My candid advice: if you feel that any of your pastors are taking too much of your money,
then stop paying your tithe and offering. when the 'task-master' come calling,
I bet you, that you will wish you had let go.
And as for those of you defending him, why wasting your time.
It will be wise too for the church of God (leaders) to learn from some of these critics,
as the adage goes that says: even fool sometimes speaks wise words.
So the reasoin for giving all he had was because he expected God to reward him here on earth financially? In what ways would God reward Jesus Christ who gave all including his life to save the world? I know of many people who have given all they had by listening to these seed sow pastors who today re regretting why they sowed to what God never told them to do. In what ways would God reward Bill Gates who assumed to be an Atheist and gave more than half of his wealth to save the sick and poor all over the world and Nigeria inclusive,,,Bill has spent several billons of dollars to eradicate polio in Northern Nigeria and has visited Nigeria several times to see the progress work done in the polio foundation he has in Nigeria and other African Nations,,,,(Bill has just one private Jet),,,The truth why these pastors re shamelessly doing what they re doing is because the Bible has to be fulfilled,,,we live in an age where there false prophets and pastors,,,if we don't have false prophets and pastors,,hw can God's word be fulfilledhuh?

The one that was bought before was used as part exchange for newer one. They are for the propagation of the gospel. The church is growing at an alarming rate. In the last 1 year we have planted over 3000 churches in Nigeria alone. As the shepherd with the co-shepherd, they need to reach the sheep that are all over the world. Bishop has a very tight schedules visiting up to 3 nations in a week at times. The second jet is to be used mainly by the Vice president of the ministry Bishop David Abioye and the other Bishops. This allow for wider coverage to reach millions of people at the same time. It is not our fault that God is blessing us as a ministry. But if you know you can do anything about it, please try. You know?
Someone just condemned Jesus to the old testament here,,,saying he does not have a relevance or functions as much as Paul(Whereas Paul like me look unto Jesus as the authorand finisher of our faith),,,the implication here is that in this age, time and dispensation,,,Paul does not have any relevance,,we must listen to Pastor Chris,,T.B, Joshua,,and many other confused people,,,
The more reason why Christianity is a confused state at this time and age,,,,when the words of a pastor is placed above that of Christ or God,,,who then is our focus??
