^That's simple Bible for you, not comedy hour. You have the right to go to hell fire if you despise the narrow way.
There is no man in this world that can predestinate any other man's destination after this world,,,,Nobody,,,absolutely nobody has the audacity to say IGHODALO would go to hell because he remarried. Read your Bible very well in 1st Corinthians 7 vs 15.
Also read the story samaritan woman Jesus met by the well side,,,,Being married to your wife or ur husband all your life is not a guarantee that you would go to heaven or hell,,,There are worst religiuos activities going on at RCCG than Ighodalo's issue.
I have always asked,,,was Pastor Adeboye not aware Ighodal was going to get married 3yrs? was he not present at the wedding with all his lietenant? did he not bless the union with his liutenants?? The truth is RCCG is fast becoming a CULT even if they fail to admit it,,,
How could an organisation approved of s marriage and only 2yrs later you turn around to wanting to annul the marriage because of baseless excuses. Often times its been said at the camp that if the world comes to an end,,,only about 5 or 6 people would make heaven there,,,,so whats the point gathering a marmouth crowd when heaven is not guaranteed for them,,,
RCCG is just hypocritical,,,,so if my wife choses to divorce me today and then gets remarried with kids to another man,,,,I should keep praying for God to make her come back to mehuh somebody pls asnwer my question! These re some of the religious practices that brings christianity to question. There re too many wicked, hypocritical and self rigtheous people at the helms of affairs of churches today.
If we truly believe sin is sin,,,,then what about all the criminals in RCCG who re the direct reasons why Nigeria is getting worst today. RCCG cares about outward looks of the people,,,,there is too much confussion in that organisation,,,how can a church have two sets of worshippers? one you classified Model and another you classified classical,,,some members have there hair opened others hair tied with scaves,,,some wear trousers,,,in some others its a sin,,,,Thats simply a house of commotion!!!

You lie!  angryIn this part of the world, unless you're making $100,000 annually before taxes, chances are that the wife also has to contribute to paying some of the bills. Now in Naija, it might be a different story but not here in the western world.
Don't deceive yourself please! My sister is married to a man from Abia State. The couple live in naija and she has been the one paying all the bills since they got married 7 years ago and still is. He lied to her when they were dating that he is a business man. I guess he is in the business of being and staying lazy! Also, like I mentioned to becomepoor, in this part of the world (USA), unless you are making really good money, chances are the wife has to work and chip in to pay for some of the bills especially because of all the taxes uncle Sam takes from a paycheck each pay period. Is that not why naija men are in the business of bringing unsuspecting women from back home, have them go to nursing school so that the woman can in turn make good money after she graduates and pay some of the bills?
Lastly gentlemen, go and marry from another country please. It is not by force to marry a fellow naija. You can take your pick from the gazillion other women from other nationalities roaming the face of the earth. If some of us are married to men from other cultures, then I am sure you can do the same instead of coming to nairaland to complain.
Peace, out!
I LOVE YOU,,,I mean ur intelligence!! U actually wowed me,,,With ladies like you,,,there is still hope for women back home to wise up,,,

A Nigerian pastor and lawyer, Michael Adelasoye, a Church of England reverend, Alex Brown and an Ukrainian have been found guilty by a United Kingdom court for carrying out the biggest fake wedding scam Britain has ever seen.

•Pastor Mike Adelasoye.

According to the Daily Mail of London, Adelasoye, an immigration lawyer and pastor of the Ark of Hope church in St Leonards, East Sussex, along with his accomplices contrived to marry 360 illegal immigrants, many of them Nigerians, to complete strangers. Armed with a marriage certificate, the immigrants were then able to hoodwink the Home Office into giving them a visa to stay in Britain as a ‘spouse’, with access to education, healthcare and benefits. The sham marriages were carried out at the Victorian parish church, where Reverend Brown married up to eight couples a day between 2005 and 2009.

Brown conducted the ceremonies at The Church of St Peter and St Paul between July 2005 and July 2009. Ninety couples were registered as living in one road and 52 in another. There were several brides and grooms from the same house, and one husband-to-be went under the name of ‘Felix Spaceman’.

A bride changed into her borrowed wedding gown in the vestry before the ceremony, then stuffed it back into a plastic bag afterwards, while a groom produced a ring that was far too small for his wife’s finger.

Nevertheless Brown, 61, protested his innocence, but he was convicted with the Nigerian immigration solicitor – whose clients paid up to £15,000 for a dodgy wedding – and a Ukrainian who supplied hard-up Eastern Europeans willing to marry for £3,000 cash. Michael Adelasoye, 50, a qualified immigration lawyer, found Africans who were desperate to stay in the UK after outstaying their visas. The court heard that 90 couples were registered as living in the same street. The Ukrainian, recruited the stooge brides and grooms from Hastings’s Eastern European community. Some wed several times.

Ten of the brides and grooms received police cautions, but the majority were never traced and are presumably still living in Britain. The three defendants denied conspiracy to breach immigration laws, but they were found guilty by a jury at Lewes Crown Court after a seven week trial. Brown, who is openly gay, also became the only vicar in 800 years to be convicted of failing to read out the banns – asking the congregation if they knew of ‘any just cause or impediment’ why two people may not marry.

Judge Richard Hayward adjourned sentencing to September 6 but warned the three, who all live in St Leonards, he was considering jail. He told them: ‘You have been convicted on very clear evidence of a serious offence.’ Adelasoye and Brown were released on conditional bail, and Buchak was remanded in custody.

The vicar walked from court without a word, but Adelasoye, who is a pastor of the Ark of Hope church in St Leonards, protested: ‘I don’t think it’s a fair verdict. God looks after the righteous.’ Later, the Archdeacon of Lewes and Hastings, the Venerable Philip Jones, said he was ‘shocked and saddened’ by Brown’s betrayal.

He said: ‘We are particularly sorry for those who have been deceived and hurt by his actions. The church and the community are faced with a betrayal of trust on the part of Father Brown, who was a very trusted figure.’

He promised that churches would be more vigilant to fraud in the future, and said the Church of St Peter and St Paul was unlikely to be used for worship again after Brown’s tarnished tenure. Brown’s motivation remains unclear. Police believe the once respected priest threw away his career, his reputation and potentially his freedom to feather a nest for his retirement. But although they found £5,000 in cash at his home, this was not nearly as much as they would have expected if Brown’s sole desire was to make money, rather than to help immigrants.

The case, which police believe was part of an international multi-million pound scam, has once again exposed the lax regulations that have led to a booming racket in sham marriages over recent years.

Numerous attempts to curb the thousands of fake unions every year have been stymied by EU and human rights laws.

A total of 529 suspect marriages were reported to the Home Office in the 11 months to December last year – a rise of 54 per cent on 2008 levels.

Detective Inspector Andy Cummins, of the UK Border Agency, said: ‘This was the biggest operation of its kind we have come across, and the only one we know about where the vicar was entirely complicit.

‘As we investigated, we were all shocked as the scale of it emerged. The nearer he got to his retirement date, the more weddings he was doing.’ Immigration minister Damian Green said: ‘Britain is no longer a soft touch. We now have specialist teams of immigration and police officers working day in, day out, to tackle and prosecute people who commit this form of organised criminality.

‘We are determined to create a hostile environment which makes it harder than ever for illegal immigrants to come to the UK and put untold pressures on our public services.’

Redeemed Pastor Arrested Over N8m Fraud

A 40-year old pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Kunle Odeyemi David and his accomplice, Ganiyu Babatunde a.k.a. Iyalla, 52, have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for fraudulently withdrawing N8 million from the bank account of a Lagos-based hotelier, Alhaji Mudashiru Olanrewaju Odetunde.

•Pastor Kunle Odeyemi.
According to police sources, David, who resides at 3, Transformer Street, Amikanle, Alagbado, Lagos and Babatunde, who lives at 8, Oduduwa Street, Surulere, Lagos, have been allegedly withdrawing money from accounts of bank customers with the connivance of a female cashier. Their victim, Alhaji Odetunde, the owner of Moonshine Motel, Lagos told P.M.NEWS: “ The suspects withdrew money from my account with the assistance of a female cashier. My bank is near Nigerian Breweries, Iganmu, Lagos.

“ Can you imagine that when the pastor and his comrade-in-crime removed N8 million from my account, I went to report at the bank’s headquarters. Immediately I stepped out, I got another alert that N2 million was removed again from my account.

“I dashed back to the bank to complain again and in a twinkle of an eye, I got a transaction alert which read your account has been credited with N2,000,000 by returned 062317520 cheque.

“But for the assistance of police detectives attached to Area ‘A’ command, Lion Building, Lagos Island, they would not have been arrested.

“I am disappointed with the way the bank officials handled the matter. I feel it is no longer safe to keep money in the bank. They keep deceiving me over my N8 million.

“The bank is yet to pay me my money. I work extremely hard to get money.”

Pastor David said: “I am a pastor of Redeemed Church. It is true we withdrew money from Alhaji Odetunde’s account. I got 30 per cent of the money. The cheque was paid into my account and we withdrew it at Gbagada branch, Lagos. I deal in oil and gas.” Babantunde said: “The offence has been committed. The account number we used was 06231753 at the Ibadan branch. The money was paid into Pastor’s account with the help of a female cashier.”

It was also gathered that the police at the Area ‘A’ Command have impounded a Toyota Infinity SUV marked DM11EKY and a black Picanto Car with registration number MN 141 KJA from Pastor David and Babatunde respectively.

Police sources told P.M.NEWS that the suspects will be charged to court soon.

@paris10,What a wonderful write up. However you did not do proper resarch before posting. So point of correction, Winners chapel has two jets not one and the third one is on the way. If that will make you shade tears of BLOOD go ahead. Your problem is that you are still living in the yesterday world of pastors so you still posses poverty mentality about pastors. Please read my post on men of GOD yesterday, today and tommorrow for more information. So my dear , i want you to prepare you heart for more. That only four pastors in Nigeria are using private jets are not enough but only for now .I said this because very soon up to 10(ten) pastors will be using private jets. The rest will be using helicopters to travel around the country.By that time you may die of heart attack seeing them if care is not taken.
So my dear paris10, it is a high time you liberate yourself of poverty mentality. How much is the costs of these private jets that you are angry that churches these men of GOD are leading purchased?. What a pity , a private jet that if allowed less than 10(ten) members of these churches could sponsor ie could purchase for the church.
You obviously have a mental problem,,and am surprised why ur pastor haven't healed you yet! This is exactly how ur pastors wants you to be thinking. Does have a private makes you wealthy or poor? My prayer is that God should mercilessly deal with these pastors messing up peoples ability to think and reason.
Your church has 3 privatr jets? of what use is it for? what do they produce? ,,Do you know Warren Buffet who happens to be the ruchest man in the world at a time and now the second richest man in the world does not have a private jet?
Do you know he actually owns a company that manufactures private jets yet he does not have one to himself? I will rather listen and learn from Warren Buffet than paying any attention to the criminals parading themselves as pastors in nigeria,,,so called men of God merchandising in the name of the Lord and making God's name to be ridiculed,,,
Even multinatinational/multibilion companies in the US re asking their chief executive officers to drop their private jets in order to cut cost,,,but some stupid knitwitt would contribute their hard earned money to criminals who will buy jet from such contribution,,

Omololu, that was a nice defence of the pastor, but its just possible that he run into the same issues as with the first wife. what would you advice him to do then, remarry a third time. Its also possible that in the next 5 years, something will come up again that will necessitate a 3rd wife.God help us oooo.
For a very long time now,,,I ve not commented on NL.I ve been priviledged to always check on NL everyday,,I ve also checked on this thread since the OP started it,,I ve read other peoples post as well. Howver, I refused to comment until this one.
Mr Omololu,, ur position and thinking on this issue is wrong.Just like many bigots who ve said one thing or the other on this issue. The truth is that people should not dabble into issues that they have little or no knowledge about. Why do you think the reason for Ighodalo's divorce was his fault? Have you ever thought if the said marriage was contracted under God? was he a Christian whe he married to the said wife?
I ve always told people that I do not have regards for any Nigerian Pastors except for Tunde Bakare and Kumuyi. The same people who re now criticising Ighodalo,,were they not in his wedding ceremony? Was Pastor Adeboye not present in his wedding? Why was he allowed to continue as a pastor for 2yrs after his wedding? Why the sudden change that he should resign from being a pastor at RCCG?
The bottomline here is that RCCG is one organisation that is fast becoming some thing worst than celestial church,,,Study ur Bible very well, Ighodalo hasn't done anything wrong scripturally. If you need help go study 1st Corinthians 15,,,and am sure you won't get it until I explain it to you.

Christianity EtcAndy Uba In Adultery Mess As Pastor Mistress Delivers by REALTRUTH1(op): 11:05am On Jun 12, 2010
The romance of Andy Uba, Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs to former President Olusegun Obasanjo with Pastor Faith Vedelago, a popular Abuja-based television evangelist has thrown his home into tatters, P.M.NEWS gathered this morning.

P.M.NEWS also learnt that Faith recently delivered a child in a European country.
It was gathered that Andy Uba travelled and abandoned his first wife, Gloria Obiageli and their four children to be with his mistress for the few weeks she spent in Europe before she was delivered of the baby.
The delivery of the new baby, it was gathered, has deepened the crisis between Andy and his first wife.

It was learnt that Andy is threatening to throw his wife out of his home, but has been incapacitated in doing so because the marriage he contracted with the woman was court wedding.

The Anambra State-born politician, it was learnt, is accusing his wife of being the brain behind the revelation and stories of his affairs with the single mother pastor in the media.
Sources close to the family of Andy told that the first marriage of the fomer governor of Anambra State has been on the brink of collapse, even as his first wife is busy running from pillar to post on how she will take her husband back from the pastor.

Though, it was learnt that the romance between the pastor and Andy has been on for some years, it became public knowledge after Andy was elected Governor of Anambra State in 2007. Reports indicated that Andy Uba had soon after he was sworn into office, stopped protocol officials from producing the portraits of Gloria, his first wife as his first lady.

This directive, it was gathered was influenced by the flashy light skinned pastor.

But the sack of Uba by the Supreme Court put paid to the scandal that would have emerged over the issue.

There are speculations that andy contracted a secret marriage with the Pastor who was using the prestigious Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja for her weekly Sunday services for some years before she moved to an Hilltop Mansion owned by Andy last year. The mansion, located in the posh Maitama area of Abuja now serves as the church and residence of the Pastor Faith.

Until the story of the hot romance began to grab headlines, Andy was a regular face at Pastor Faith’s Miracle International Centre where he is fondly referred to as “Daddy” by other worshippers.
Reports indicated that Uba has remained glued to the Pastor because she was helping him to keep some of the funds he amassed while he served as a presidential aide.

Christianity EtcBishop Oyedepo Fires Back At Erelu Agbaye, Says Allegation Of Occultism Amounts by REALTRUTH1(op): 11:03am On Jun 12, 2010
It was far into the night at the Living Faith Church, Ota, Ogun State penultimate Friday as the presiding bishop, David Oyedepo, delivered a lecture on empowerment to an attentive audience. The session provided the bishop an opportunity to address an issue that has raised a lot of dust in the fold of Christians lately.

A woman named Dorcas Bolatito Oluwatimilehin, a.k.a Erelu Agbaye, had recently boasted that she wielded a lot of occult powers from which many religious leaders, including Bishop Oyedepo, had profited. The declaration had sent tongues wagging, with many challenging the religious leaders that were named by Erelu Agbaye to come out and clear their names.

The session on empowerment, however, gave the bishop an opportunity to deny any link to occultism. In apparent response to Erelu Agbaye’s claim, Oyedepo thundered in front of the attentive congregation, “There is no satanic institution that can confront me to say that I share anything with them. I challenge them to do so. The anointing on this altar is one of the landmark events of this generation. That is why some fellows say that they gave me power. I curse that blasphemy. I command that tongue to seize forever.

Oyedepo, who is also the Chancellor of Covenant University, continued, “Every time they see something working in this part of the world, they say it is charm. The Holy Spirit is the greatest charm that I know, and that is what I am using. I operate only from this platform, except you would be deceived.”

The decision of the fiery faith preacher to react to the issue came as a surprise to many in the congregation, because his approach in the past had been to ignore such allegations. A lot of them reckoned that Oyedepo, who oversees a congregation of more than 50,000 worshippers in Canaanland, rarely reacts to negative reports about him, wondering why he attached so much importance to Erelu Agbaye’s allegation.

“Not even the regularly televised attacks on his person and work from co-preachers like Pastor Tunde Bakare of The Latter Rain Assembly, Lagos, and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Christ Embassy in about two decades of the ministry’s relocation to Lagos had moved him into making a direct pronouncement,” a source close to the clergy wondered. “Only recently, Pastor Bakare literally tore one of his books apart during one of his sermons on the television. But his stand for more than two decades had been never to reply to such accusations or castigations.”

The End Time Journal, a Lagos-based soft-sell magazine had published the story in which Erelu Agbaye challenged Oyedepo to deny her claim that she was the one that had been empowering him spiritually, threatening to reveal more about the issue if Oyedepo denied it. “Of all the people I have mentioned, only one of them is no more, and that is Abacha, Erelu Agbaye had said. “I, therefore, challenge any of them who thinks I am lying to make a public denial and I will reveal more of their atrocities.”

Our correspondent gathered that before Erelu’s pronouncement was published in the journal, the story had circulated in a video CD that detailed her claims. More copies of the said journal, which has Oyedepo’s picture on the cover, were circulated at a programme held at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos about two weeks ago to pray for Nigeria’s golden jubilee anniversary. The vendors must have seen the programme as a good opportunity to market the publication, since it was hosted by Oyedepo and the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye. Expectedly, curious worshippers drawn from different denominations patronised the vendors in large numbers.

But the VCD, Saturday Punch learnt, originated from Kwara State where Oyedepo hails from, and contains more shocking information than was reported in the journal. Also mentioned in the VCD are names of notable musicians like Yinka Ayefele, Ayinla Kollington, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister and King Sunny Ade.

The VCD, which was originally a product of a religious forum held in May 2009 at Odo Okun, Saw Mill, Ilorin, Kwara State, later became a commercial commodity, contrary to the intention of the organisers of the event.

Erelu Agbaye, who claimed to have renounced occultism herself, said she had met Oyedepo and others while she was in the cult and given them the power to succeed. But because she had renounced occultism and would now prefer to be called Erelu Jesu, she decided to make public their escapades.

Erelu claimed she was at Oyedepo’s church to demand for a certain article of power she had given to him, but he allegedly refused to part with it, offering instead to pay her millions of naira, after which he would pay her N250,000 monthly as salary if she would keep the secret. She claimed that she declined the alleged offer.

yes it is true,
The 19.7% can be believed , Like i said before they may be employed but earning around 5,000 monthly or 6,000 or 7,000 monthly which as a reason it they may still suffer and they may not contribute to our economy in whatsoever but they are employed i-thats what we are debating, Being employed does not mean you being rich,
I think taganga is correct
How do you reason my friend? are you saying that if the Government proposal of paying unemployed graduates #15,000 monthly sails through,,,all those who benefits from it would automatically be employed? Or in USA ,,whereby once you loose ur job and you file for unemployment benefits ,,you start getting $500 every week,,then U re employedhuh?

The President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has said that the greatest challenge that is facing the entire south-East is the twin issue of kidnapping and armed robbery.

The president made this known during the public presentation of the book titled, “Themes on Igbo culture, History and development,” at the Concord Hotel, Owerri on Friday.

The president, represented at the occasion by the Minister of Interior, Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho, pointed out that these criminals are living in the midst of the people.

According to him, if the hoodlums could easily be identified, the work of the security men in the country would be made easy.

The president maintained that one of the cardinal points of his administration was to ensure the security of lives and properties in the country.

On the issue of electoral reform, Dr. Jonathan explained that the present administration was not taking the matter lying low, adding that he would stop at nothing to ensure that the country had credible elections.

In his address at the event, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, said that it was well known by everybody in the country that without the Igbo race, Nigeria is not complete.

“I have the belief that this book shall certainly take us on an expedition on the ways of life of the Igbos,” he said.

Earlier in his address, the chairman, South-East council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Cletus Ilomuanya, said that the book was a must-read, not just by Nigerians, but also by all scholars of international history and those who wish to have a broad view of the Igbo culture, history and development.

In your own case,,,I will advice you come down and pay a visit first,,interact  and investigate if you could fit in to the Nigerian system.Moreso,,I doubt if Nigerians especially in the Nigerian University re intimidated by foreign degrees,,,if you ve a foreign degree and you think U want to lecture,,,I bet you,,U would be frustrated out,,,and I can assure you that you can not find the necessary facilities that would enhance ur pursuits,,,,
If you re coming to do business that would ve been a lot more better,,,but thinking of Foreign degree stuff,,,who cares about??,,,,Didn't you hear of the Medical Doctor that was shot dead in benin about 6weeks ago??
Guy just think very well b4 taking that decision,,,If you re tired of UK,,,why don't you try US?? if you re frofessional,,,moreso what is ur disciplinehuh
Christianity EtcRe: Celestial Church of Christ: Your Experience And Opinion by REALTRUTH1: 4:40am On May 21, 2010
springtec:
Well, different strokes they say exist for different folks, i and my 4 siblings were born and bred in Celestial Church of Christ, Ijo Mimo Ti Kristi Lati Orun Wa, Eglise Du Christiasme Celeste, Agun Wiwe Oloton. Lawanson Parish, 15 Akinkumni Street Surulere.
I was previledged to be part and parcel of every single activity and service done in the church, my family was so religious and committed -- The AKANFES', really i thank God for giving me the opportunity to have been there, i Saw, Learnt and Conquered. I actually saw the good, bad and Ugly. But the truth is no church denomination, and i repeat no church denomination include where i attend now, RCCG can boast of being perfect, i can tell stories over stories of everyday events in the church that could be discouraging, saddening and unhealthy.
When i was in Cele i had a golden opporyunity of belonging to a particular sect, called CBF-Central Bible Fellowship, a centre for the absolute and indepth RESEARCH and APPLICATION of the word of God, it was founded by a foremost professor of Chemistry a one time deputy vice chancellor Unilag, Prof S.O Odeyemi. I can tell you that for those of us priviledge to be part of that Fellowship or the Bible College Affiliate by the same founder- CBI- Central Bible Institute Ilaje Bariga, our lives were different. I want to tell you that every single thing i know in the scriptures now i learnt them from the CBF and CBI of the Celestial Church, though i am out of the church now, but the reason is not because of the several comments and complaints of "agbere"- adultery and fornication an all that, but because God actually wants me out. Imagine the whole family leaving the church on the same day, we just all decided to leave, because we moved away from Lawanson to far away Akute in Ogun state, and finding a church setting similar at least 10% to Lawanson parish of the C.C.C was a problem, all the C.C.C parishes we found were off the hook, so we decided to call it quit and attend a neutral church, so we landed in R.C.C.G.
Is is not a question of either the church is good or bad, because the bible tells me, Jesus is the only way that leads to the Father, going by the standard of churches today none i mean NONE is FIT by thank God for Gods' grace and Mercy, Imagine a Church Leader being confirmed to be in HELL. What then are we saying.
Food for thot.
Hi bro,,,God bless you,,I was once a member,,infact I was one of the perticipants that won the silver cup in the first ever maiden bible study quiz in 1983,,,called the Oshoffa cup,,,The truth is that my first ever born experience was at CCC,,,Do you know Evangelists J.K. Farinmade? He used to be the Gospec Fellowship Coordinator,,,I am yet to see any man of God that is as vast as he is in the Bible except pastor Kumuyi,,,,
I left CCC to join some of these Penterascals Churches,,,RCCG being one of them,,,the CCC i attended then was better than the RCCG now,,,,If you know J.K. Farinmade,,,you would know what am talking about,,,,
Please do you remember this song then:
Baba palase latorun wa, ki gbogbo aye yo wariri,,complete it for me,,,,CCC hymn and songs are more spiritual and heaven consciuos than all these disco penterascals songs,,,

Somebody once said Christianity is the best among religion. Christianity is not the best religion.God is not in an religion. Christianity is not a religion. Religion is man's search for God. but Christianity is God's way of bringing man to himself. Everything is wrong with religion but Christianity is not one of them.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I actually believe that Christianity is supposed to be a "RELATIONSHIP" btw men and God,,,but in ur own opinion what is PFNhuh
And pls tell me if the way these people who calls themselves Christains in Nigeria,,,if that is how to practice what Jesus believed, lived for and died forhuh
One of the Ghandi's once said that "she loves Jesus,,Loves the Bible but hates the practioners of christianity"
How sad the only way that shows us the direction to God has been so badly abused,,,

God has come down imagine a service with 24700+ vehicles parked in the church including 1000 buses.God is multiplying the winners commission. Please join that commission, join the living faith church wherever you are and you will never regret it.
MUMU like you,,so its the number of vehicles that determines that God has come down to ur place of worship? Very soon you would start worshipping a corpse because you lack the ability to reason.
Have you in a anyway ask yourself how those with the vehicles bought the vehicles?? Were the vehicles bought with the usual theft, fraud and corruption destroying Nigeria? Your major attraction to God now is the ability for you to have a vehicle at whatever cost,,,exactly what Penterascalism has done to the Nigeria Christian,,,,Arrant rubbish and nonesense,,,
Christianity EtcRe: Does A Pastor Trully Need A Private Jet ? by REALTRUTH1: 7:20pm On May 15, 2010
None of them deserve a private Jet,,,I do not see any reason so far given to validate the why they should have it.Its simply a thing of class,,,It does not add sny spiritual or economical values,,,rather it stirs up issues that questions the Integrity and the drift associated with these present day CHURCHES,,,

Christianity EtcPastor Scales Fence To Evade Arrest- Touch Not My Annointed! by REALTRUTH1(op): 8:06pm On May 13, 2010
Pastor Babatope Agboola of Christ Intercession Ministry shocked his members during a church service when he ran out of the church and climbed the church fence to escape police arrest.

The police had declared him wanted and the court issued a warrant of arrest of the pastor over his alleged involvement in fraud.

The action of the pastor threw the church members into confusion as they started running helter-skelter.

The 45-year old pastor was alleged to have defrauded an Edo woman. The pastor escaped to Ibadan and hide where he opened another branch of the church.

He was alleged to have duped Betty Ohehe on the false pretence of being her spiritual director. He told the woman to bring some amount of money which he would help her to establish business in Nigeria.

The woman obliged him and sent N445,000 which he said would yield some millions of profit in poultry farm business. But when he got the money in Lagos, he relocated to Ibadan where he was eventually arrested.

When the woman returned to Nigeria, she could not find him and she had to arrest his sister, Florence Ajijola, who introduced him to her.

He was traced to Ibadan by a team of policemen in Lagos.

Agbola was charged to Isolo Magistrate’s Court for fraud, an offence said to be contrary to section 419 of the Criminal Code.

When the matter came up at the court and charges were read to him, he pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The prosecutor, Adebayo Oladele, told the court presided over by Mrs. E. Kubenje that the accused should not be granted bail because he had been on the run since he committed the crime.

Oladele narrated to the court how he went to the pastor’s church at Ibadan and when he sighted them while he was delivering a sermon, he dropped the microphone, ran out of the church and climbed the church fence and escaped arrested.

But in response, the magistrate said the offence he committed was a bailable offence and he was entitled to bail.

He granted him bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties. The court ruled that the sureties must be civil servants on at least level 14.

The sureties must show evidence of payment of tax and their addresses must be verified by the court.

The matter has been adjourned till 30 June, 2010.

Mekusxxx,
In your haste to start a thread that fits in with your bigoted propaganda, you failed to properly verify the link you were providing. The writer of the article is guilty of not only lazy journalism but also of fraud and forgery. The writer in her bid to write about the noble achievements of this young man, changed the name of the awarding body. You are just as guilty as the writer of ethnic jingoism.
To think that you were feeling superior by assuming that average NL readers would not be able to comprehend the grammar used in one of your posts. Your intellectual dishonesty, coupled with your unrivalled and tasteless bigotry on these forums only points to the fact that you do not possess the educational accomplishments that you so brazenly state on the forums or that you simply committed intellectual fraud (cheating, plagiarism, etc).
The more you carry on with your unrepentant and ludicrous ethnic hate campaign, the more you expose yourself for what you really are; a lazy, bitter, and perhaps unsuccessful character.
Though am not a fan of mekussxxx,,,,however I want to inform you that you guilty of what you accussed mekussxx of,,,Times Magazine May edition actually listed the Ikegwuonu as one of the 100 most influential person.,,,The rolex award is for young enterprsising people in the world and he was listed amongst the 10 young enterprising people in the world,,,
These re completely two different organisations,,,
