Jesus christ of nazareth didn't function in the new testament. If you must grow out of babyhood, listen to paul.
So if I must comply to the 21st century christianity(without Christ),,,I must listen to who then? I tell you the truth as a christian and many of my other friends,,,amparticularly disappointed at the way its practiced in Nigeria,,The sad truth is that just like me and many other people out there,,,,I have absolutely no regards for most pastors in Nigera,,,I will rather stay at home and worship God with my family than going to gather in a place where MEN re being glorified in place of God,,,
To even think that Pastor Chris does not believe in the ideas of RCCG,,,he would rather fellowship with TB Joshua than PFN members,,,If God is not the author of confussion,,,somethings re obviously wrong with Christianity( religion with Christ),,,
Am really not baffled at ur post because I have been wondering why the so called church Christ has been in crisis,,,Now I know its because CHRIST is not in the church anymore,,,very sad!!!!!

Now a more serious answer,,,,,if they way they re practiced in Nigeria,,,they re not Christians,,,,they re just a bunch of packaged, repackaged, distributed and redistributed lots of manipulated goons,,,,Make God help person,,,If you get deeply into them,,,you might end up not been a Chrsitain,,,,Sad truth

A child can be raised anywhere. If he/she is going to turn out well, it wouldn't matter whether or not he/she is raised in Pakistan. There is nothing to back up the idea that people raised in Nigeria have better values than people raised abroad -- they just have different values. I know people raised in Naij with shitty attitudes, I know people raised in England that will give Mother Theresa a run for her cash. Just create what you think is a perfect environment for your kids whereever you might be and everything will be all good.
You re absolutely correct,,,people just sit down somewhere and think Nigeria is anywhere better than US or UK when it comes to upbringing,,,,The children growing up in Nigeria right now scares me,,,,you just listen to their conversations,,,,there has been three consecutive waec results out the highest pass rate in them all was about 20%. That is just a clue,,,moreover, Nigeria as it is now does not have an identity, values or morals to hold claim to,,,,a very sad truth.

RomanceRe: Can U Marry Someone Against The Will Of Your Parents? by REALTRUTH1: 4:36am On Jan 19, 2011
well,, it all depends on the basis which the parents re advising,,,,in this very case or scenerio,,,,I personally would not marry who my parents re recommending if she does not capture what I want in a woman,,,,but I would also not go ahead and get my girlfriend impregnated because I want to disobey parents.
Its true my parents would not live with me and my wife,,,but my parents re a very veritable and a major part of my life and they would continue to be so even after am married,,,Bottomline is that,,if I have a responsibility to convince my my parents on who I wish to get married to,,,if I can't do that,,then marriage would hold on,,,I can't and nobody can truly find happiness in a chaotic marriage.
In this scenerio,,I would listen to my parents fear and would also make sure I douse there fears,,,marrriage is far beyond all the rhetorics many posted above,,,I can not because I want to pls a my girlfriend and cause my parents pain,,,I would love my wife for sure,,,but absolutely no woman can take away the love and regards I have for my parents,,,but I speak for my self here,,,parents knows me and trust my judgement,,,I will definitely do them proud,,,,these are things we discusssed all the time,,,

You have conscientiously sent out invitation to people of other faith (unbelievers in Christ) to come join and make mockery of a member of Christ body.

Christinity in Nigeria is just messed up,,,,is there anybody except Nigerians who do not know that there has been discoveries in the automobile and aviation industry already,,,,are people(RCCG,Nigerians) telling me that they do not know that airplanes are soon gonna be running on solar system(there was a test flight less than 3months in the US,,,the passenger airplane with solar was in the air for almost 16hrs),,,,are Nigerians and the Christian communities in Nigeria telling me they don't already have cars running without fuel in nigeriahuhIn the USA,,hybrids cars don't run with fuel,,,its a major breakthrough and discoveries,,,,
The GO has to be specific on the discoveries so that people would know when it happens,,,,Religion is just a very big problem in Nigeria,,,,,and the Pentecostals are a very big culprit of this,,,,,this and many more reasons are why ATHEISTS question the God CHRISTIANS serve in Naija,,,,Can't people think or reasonhuh?

I totally disagree with you here,,,,God is not the author of confussion,,,he would not give a revelation about Himself to one pastor and the other pastor would question such revelations,,,,Oyedepo does not believe in Bakare,,,Bakare does not believe in Oyedepo and Adeboye,,,Kumuyi does not believe in any of the other pastors,,,Okotie believes Oyakhilome hears from the devil and associates with the devil,,,,
The rest of the pastors doubts TB Joshua,,,,,everyone of them says Catholics are going to hell,,,,,Jehovah witness thinks they re the true Christians,,,,
My thinking is that 99% of all the pastors in Nigeria are not called by God,,,,,However God's words stands sure and true,,,,,what we call church today is questionable and they re simply mens design,,,,,,very sad situation!!!!

GEJ,,,this is my very first time am commenting on GEJ since his advent into Nigeria's political terrain. GEJ is not only thought to be weakling,,,,am confirming that fact too!!! He is a weak leader,,,and that has clearly shown that he lacks the wherewithal to preside over Nigeria.
Just yesterday,, he was manipulated and cajoled to accept the primaries of the Governors of PDP to come b4 the PRESIDENCY primaries with a promise that they(Governors) would publicly endorse him. Can any serious political leader succumb to a thing like that? NEVER!!!!
With the above scenerio,,,,GEJ has lost out,,,,Saraki and the other Governors have just played him a fast one that a primary school pupil in Ajegunle can figure out.
PoliticsRe: Debate: Is Nigeria A Failed State? by REALTRUTH1: 1:32pm On Dec 17, 2010
From and even before the foundation of NIGERIA,,,,Nigeria was designed not work,,,It has never been a country,,rather a conglomerate of kingdoms been forced to dwell together without their freewill consent. Its raping,,,you have sex with someone without the person's consent.
Its evidently clear that the signs of a failed state are vividly obvious. And a country can not continue to operate the way Nigeria is operating,,that is the reason for the rise of Kidnapping,,,OPC,,Bakasi Boys, MEND,,,etc,,,
However,, Nigeria can only become a country when and only when there is a sincere call for a SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE (SNC),,,that would both DEFINE and REDEFINE how the country should be operated or to DEFINE or REDEFINE the basis for our CONTINUED existence.
"NIGERIA is a mere geographical expression",,,,LATE Pa Awolowo.
PoliticsRe: What Made Nigeria So Populated by REALTRUTH1: 1:19pm On Dec 17, 2010
The fact here is that,,,as we speak right now,,,,Nigeria does not have any accurate figure that defines the exact number of her populace.
Its simply unbelievable to assume that Nigeria is 150Million people. The international community still laughs hard at Nigeria because we simply do not know the size of our population.
Nigeria population as far as I know is far above 150Million. On several occassions,,,Nigeria officials had given very contradicting figures as to what the population is. The painful thing is that when the multiplier effects of the devastating effects of overpopulation starts hitting us(Nigeria),,,it just gonna be too late.
I really do not see the poster insulting Nigeria,,,rather Nigerians should start thinking,,,,

PoliticsRe: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by REALTRUTH1: 7:04pm On Nov 22, 2010
Me sef:
Well, this sounds interesting.
GEJ might not have it easy with Atiku because the latter has some disguised loyalists among the Governors in the South. Don't be decieved that some Governors in the south could sell out at the eleventh hour. If all other aspirants from the north work for Atiku (very unlikely though) and the North is able to come out in one front, then GEJ should forget it.In another possibility, GEJ could count on the love lost between the middle-beltans and the core north and get a majority of votes at the primaries if he is able to hold on firm to the south bloc. But the guy should forget those core northern Governors like Sule Lamido, Wammako and all. They will likely go with the "interest of the north". Then I have always believed that Ribadu was positioned in ACN as a last resort by OBJ/GEJ group. If the North deals with Jonathan's ambition, he will switch support to Ribadu and break up PDP for good.In all, the time is still there for anything to change. The game has just started and some interesting days lie ahead.
My guy,,,your analysis is just too valid,,,,keep it up!!!

Well that is your problem as you went down the comparison game which is never a wise thing to do.
He was speaking strictly about comparing Nigeria with countries like England or France which have been developed for centuries.
That was his point. Nigeria is STILL developing.
However you went off on a tangent comparing Liberia, who have not even started developing, with Canada a fully developed industrialised sub continent!
Was that not totally irrational and totally at variance with the comprehensive point he made?

Me started what? I mean who in his right mind would ever make such a highly ludicrous comparison. You see that's the problem with internet forums is that people can just bring up totally off the wall issues just to cause confusion.
A thread about whether those Nigerians in the diaspora would contemplate returning home  has now led to a post comparing Canada with Liberia!!
What is that about?
@Tensor777,,,,You re such a very funny person!!! What gives you the impression that you re in your right mindset? Do you have problem with comprehension or you just like argue? The proper question to ask is in what context was Liberia and Canada compared??
I told  PStylish was comparing Nigeria's growth and that of US and UK,,,,he gave excuse as regards US and UK being older than Nigeria,,,therefore Nigerias state of development should be understood,,,,I now posted if that is the case,,,,Liberia is older than South Korean,Malaysia,Singapore and Canada,,,,therefore, based on  PStylish thinking partern,,,Liberia should be more developed,,,

You are an intellectual phillistine, you do not even understand basic political issues or arguments!!! You can mark me out as anything you want to, your lazy brain can not be bothered to analyse both sides of an argument in an objective way, instead you let personal sentiment cloud your mind.  I heap vitriolic abuse on the nigerian govt - is it unjustified?  Do you think its normal for generation after generation of young nigerians to be condemned to a grim future without hope because an entire country has been hijacked by a group of gangsters? Would you want to live here in london if there was no constant electricity, running water, functioning services, jobs, cheap food, affordable housing, would you live here if it were like that?  Come clean for once and stop being a hypocrite, you sit in your ivory tower pretending to dole out words of wisdom when in reality you are just living in blissful ignorance. Let me let you in on a little secret this "socialist utopia" that you dismiss is the reason the likes of you and i can live in this country, go and research the various left wing organisations and unions that made it possible for the likes of you and i to live in this country. the unions, the womens movement - these people fought the elite of british society in order to make it possible for the ordinary working man and woman in this country to live like a human being.  Do  you know that during the victorian era - only the rich in this country could eat three meals a day, in those days child labour was legal and women had no rights - the socialist utopia that you so disdainfully dismiss was fought for by the working poor of this country.  Had they adopted your pathetic pseudo patriotic stance you and i would be living like destitutes on the streets of england so put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!!!Of course i dont expect thesevagabonds in power to change nigeria, what i expect and desire is for them to be removed from power by a grassroots movement (similar to the ANC movement) which will make way for a govt of the people and for the people, is that too much to ask for?
Once again ,,,I say God bless you Cap28 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Old boy just don't post such things without reflecting deeply. I mean for you to even think of comparing Liberia with Canada in this type of serious discussion is just amazing really.
Do you know the history and deep rooted tribal culture of Liberia a country that was founded by freed slaves.
The recent horrific civil war does not tell you of the deep fissures and darkness that is still present in Liberia and would inhibit development for decades or centuries to come except they repent of their ways and turn back to God.
Let me tell you one of the things I have quickly discovered about you,,,You argue to WIN!!!! Why didn't you look at the preceding post that culminated to the reason why I made the comparison? The comparison I gave is very valid and in line with the thinking of the poster( PStylish) who gave excuse that Nigeria is 50 and probably when we get to over 200years like USA we would be better developed,,,My point or reason for the comparison is to assauge such kind of THINKING partern,,,
Moreso, your above excuse about liberia is still not a valid reason why they are where they are now,,,Until Africans wakes up and look directly into there problems face-to-face,,,Africans would degenerate into the 4th world,,,very sad truth!!!

My comparisson of Canada,South Korea,Malaysia and Singapore is that these four countries in terms of age or independence wise,,,are younger than Liberia and Egypt. I gave this illustration because  PStylish was saying in his earlier post that Nigeria is still a young country at 50yrs,,compared to US and Uk,,,in essence,,,if its by age,,,liberia and Egypt should be more advanced than Canada,South Korea etc,,,,I hope you would be able to comprehend this,,,and further correct or possibly appologise for insulting me and other Africans,,,cos you re the one who have exhibited pride here and not me,,,,

First, I was born in Lagos Island.
Second, I don't come from a village. My town is a  renowned ancient town/city in Ondo state. It is called Ikare - Akoko. Google it for more info.Everybody is free to migrate from rural areas to urban areas. But where, your migration leaves you worse off than you were in your village, I think any right thinking person should come to his senses, do a personal appraisal of life in the urban area and make a swift decision to return home. Cap28 your problem as well as that of other Nigerians abroad is that you guys refuse to take personal responsibilty for your own existence. You will rather leave it the govt. Is that not shameful? That is why you can't come back home. You know there will be no govt to spoonfeed you. Nigerians have learnt to be a government to themselves and its ok for now. We kind of prefer it.
Nigeria is still a pretty young country - 50yrs. The UK is ageless, the US is over 230 years old. How can you compare them for chrissake? The US, UK and other industrialized nations have had their own time of terrible hardships and trying times, worse than whatever we are currently facing as Nigerians, yet the citizenry then endured it they didn't flee like you guys. Today they are what they are.Afterall, Abraham Lincoln said do not ask what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. That is the stage we are now in Nigeria. So stop being childish and brace up to what it takes to be a Nigerian which is what God created you to be.
Though Cap28 has given you a very good reply,,,,I just want to add that,,,if you know that Liberia and Egypt are older than Cananda,South Korea,Singapore and malaysia,,,So why are these countries more developed and advance than Egypt and Liberia if you think its by age countries advances and develops??
The sad truth you don't want to accept is that,,,Nigeria does not have any excuse to be where she is right now,,,,its amazing how fellow ordinary man or citizen seems to be giving excuses why the political leaders continue to fail the populace in their promises,,,
