the guy who filed this suit is a snitch and just as the customs chief is going to face justice he should also be tried for conspiracy. why did he do it in the first place? he followed the man because of his greed and the man treated him like a stupid person that he is. he deserves everything that has happened to him because he is only confessing now because things didn't work as he planned and his own greed has come to bite him in the butt. nonsense! ![]() |
whether we are corrupt or not, they shouldn't have made such comment. well, they've seen that our govt. doesn't care that's why they'll say any rubbish about us. so all Nigerians are now pirates? |
undergraduate or post-graduate level? what course do you have in mind? |
I don't think muslims hate pork or piggy stuff, I think its just a religious thing just like catholics don't eat meat on ash Wednesday, as long as they are at peace with it but then of course some people will take it to the extreme- like puking at the smell of bacon, that's really funny. I never used to eat pork too but since I ate it, I haven't looked back- the sausages, spare-ribs-bacon-ham, its yummy, tasty, juicy ![]() |
afribabe:haha, I'm sure you went to a public school, we know ourselves, lol |
KunleOshob:you really should try and read through threads before commenting. that response was meant for maykelly and that's why I quoted her post. It has nothing to do with tithing or stolen items. maykelly posted a reply to davidlyan's post about 4 weeks ago and I suggested it was a bit harsh and she should apologise, she then asked me a question yesterday on what I think about the word "booty" used by davidlyan. I guessed she misunderstood the word so I posted another meaning that applies to it, hence my post. kindly pick on someone else's post! |
May kelly:boo·ty [btee] noun seized or stolen valuables: money or valuables seized or stolen, especially by soldiers in war Microsoft® Encarta® 2007. |
aysometin:a·broad [ə bráwd] adverb 1. away from your own country: in or to another country or other countries 2. in circulation: in public or into general circulation 3. everywhere: over a wide area if we are looking at quality we shouldn't even be talking about what country constitutes "abroad" because even Ghana's educational system is better than ours in terms of stability and being up-to-date; some universities in South Africa are even better than most universities in the UK and USA. I think the whole UK and USA thingy is overrated, there are so many schools in Africa that are better but what do you expect, ranking agencies are from the west, they don't even know what our schools look like but yet we've been ranked, they are bound to be bias and its all a propaganda to bring us to their countries to contribute more money to their economy. |
tales by moonlight, lol ![]() |
dont feel bad kayflexy1, she won't go to jail, she'll probably get her assets seized and lose her position as CEO. I've always admired her too but what she did was inexcusable so justice must be done. what does my username say about me? I'm very eager to know. |
ziddy:hmmm, source pls? people, una don dey add salt and pepper to the story, na wa! |
Kayflexy1:you mean you are talking to yourself? you too like attention! |
Islamic banking may be allowed as a banking option for those who don't want to earn interest on their account but they shouldn't expect not to pay interest on moneys loaned to them because non-islamists want to earn interests on their deposits. |
that means people must also not expect to earn anything from banks when they put their money there?. It doesn't make sense to me, the way it is done in most countries is that banks have a tailored banking solution for Muslims so on those specific accounts they don't earn or pay interest, those who want to carry on with the regular banking practices are free to do so but it doesn't make sense to force Islamic practices on the entire banking industry. Sanusi is showing his colours small by small! |
blandyne:I think you should use the real egusi seeds, I've never tried pumpkin seeds so I dont know what it'll taste like |
honestly I don't know any yoruba girl dating an Igbo guy, I think its the other way round - igbo girls and yoruba guys- but it doesn't mean any tribe is bad anyway. @olusolami- what a bad experience, any man who hits a woman is a Loser (with a big L) with very little ego. he didn't deserve you! |
stay in Nigeria cos the quality of education is good, no strikes, no need to bribe your way to pass, no cultism and violence, its paradise studying in Nigeria ![]() |
what a shame, I feel bad for her but justice should be done without sentiments or favour. All these western countries are just hypocrites, they come here and say we are corrupt but when our bank executives and politicians wire money and build estates in their countries they keep quiet and accept it into their economies, £1.7billion? and the British govt. didn't ask questions? na wa o! |
MrCrackles:I agree the MMA Int'l is an eye-sore and they should work on it before building another one. The MMA2 local is much better, Lagos state govt rebuilt it well and I think they're maintaining it well. |
I don't know about December 2009 or 2010, what I heard was that all those who already have the old one will not get a renewal once it expires so its a gradual phase-out. |
good for her, she came out openly with it otherwise our half-baked reporters (i.e CITY |
why do you people lack a conscience? trying to rip off people who don't have any source of livelihood, haba?? |
I don't think you'll pull any Nigerian dish off (except the jollof-rice recipe) at a first try but I guess its the fact that you attempt it that matters so don't be scared to try, I'm sure your bf will appreciate it. The egusi is a nice one but do you know where to get the ingredients? |
pls whats the update on this story now, have the debtors paid, how many of them are left? are they charging the bank executives to court? what is the next line of action? they are beginning to go cold on us now, we need closure on this story so we can be assured that EFCC/CBN were not just trying to settle some crazy scores with these people and our moneys are now in good hands ![]() |
so all these people saying celebrating birthdays are unscriptural have never attended any celebration before whether wedding reception, child dedication after party, get-togethers, picnics?? abeg you guys should just stop this attempt at self-righteousness, not everything we do as Christians is written in the bible and the same bible says that "let he who eats not judge those who do not", the fact that you do not do something and others do it does not mean you are the saint and they are sinners, if your heart does not feel right with it then don't do it but don't impose your ideology on those who are not convinced that it is wrong. |
posakosa, you and voodoo (or jass as rita of kokomansion would put it), you should open a thread on voodoo |
stillwater:well my point is Americans are no saints so don't make it sound like rape originates from Nigeria, isn't it in the same America in eldorado and west texas polygamy sects that men are exiling young boys so they can have 46 young teenagers to themselves brainwashing and sleeping with them against their will. Enough of this attribution of all bad things to Nigeria and unless we stand up for ourselves no one will, we accept everything other countries dish to us and condemn ourselves and no one sees the good things we do, abeg, you guys should have some pride in yourselves and stop worshiping other countries. |
posakosa:he he world people, winch again?? stillwater:Rape statistics in Nigeria are not as high as America's. with all those American troops raping Afghanistan and Iraqi women, we are anything but rapists in Nigeria. God bless Nigeria. |

Is the very doctrine of tithes not criminal enough.
