PoliticsRe: Ibadan Isn't, Lagos Is The Largest City In Africa. by red101(f): 11:50pm On Aug 28, 2014
This topic is very silly. Nobody ever said Ibadan was the largest city in Africa. Maybe in the past but no today.
Ibadan is ranked #16 largest city in Africa. Lagos is #1 in terms of population.

FashionRe: Black Women: "Why Don’t You Wear Your Hair Natural?” by red101(f):
women should be free to wear their hair however they want. relaxed, natural, dyed, brazillian weave, afro weave, texturized, shaved, or whatever.
what I mostly see on this thread is a bunch of guys projecting their own low self esteem and inferiority complex onto women.
EducationRe: FG Closes All Public & Private Schools Till 13th Of October by red101(f): 5:33am On Aug 27, 2014
this is a very responsible move.
they should spend the time installing proper toilets, hand washing and sanitizing stalls in all the schools. In fact, any form of development will be appreciated.

awhales: Sincerely, I don't understand you explanation...
then nevermind
FamilyRe: Single Friends Of Married Peeps. by red101(f): 4:54am On Aug 21, 2014
awhales: I find it disrespectful when people address housewives as JOBLESS... taking care of the home is full time work... most of career women find solace in maids... also some called career women don't do anything in the office than gossip...don't generalise next time when referring to housewives, the fact that you have a job doesn't make you more busy than a woman that spends her time working in her home....
that's not what I meant. I was talking about a career. If the job solely revolves around a husband and kids then of course the person will have problems relating to someone who is not yet married and vice versa. This is just a natural issue. In fact, such a woman will also have issues relating to a wife with a career. because the friend will want to talk about things that are unrelated to her marriage sometimes.

What I notice is that very talkative people are often guilty of gossip irrespective of their gender or career.

greatgod2012: i really pity the lady sha, she might be mentally derailed, i mean she might be suffering from depression, who knows.
And BTW, why was the husband shot dead?
I think so too.
read the first post.
FamilyRe: Single Friends Of Married Peeps. by red101(f):
Justi4jesu, you are right that it is the jobless housewives that are most guilty of it. Like you said, what else is there for them to talk about? they have no life outside their marriage.
I will advice the single lady to find other friends. Even if she wants to keep married friends, she should find ones that aren't jobless. I would prefer to be friends with a woman who can tell me about her own promotion instead of always talking about her husband's. How does her husband concern me?
HealthRe: IRREFUTABLE EURO-AMERICAN ORIGIN OF THE VIRULENT EBOLA VIRUS by red101(f):
ghostofsparta: I know it's hilarious but I think amongst other influence Westernism exerts on me, I'm pro-America like that knowing a lot consider the genre and its several sub "devilish" here) , and why are most life-threatening virus discovered in Afrika? Can't we see there's an undertone to such discoveries
maybe because we aren't advanced enough for now to make our own medical discoveries.
besides it's not true. Many of these viruses are easily manageable. With proper health and safety precautions, they shouldn't spread so easily.

ex. with HIV/AIDS in USA, gays were less likely to use condoms, have more sexual partners, use less safe practices, be an underclass because they were marginalized for a long time due to their se.xual orientation and as a result have low access to proper health care. same goes with blacks. hence why their hiv rates are higher.

Even in Africa, HIV/AIDS rates are very low in Muslim countries but higher in southern parts of Africa where there has been reported rates of higher concurrent se.xual partners or unsafe se.xual practices. ex. SA and Lesotho have some of the highest rates of r.ape and se.xual violence in the world. Even babies are not safe from r.ape in southern Africa. Ignorance is also very dangerous. remember when Jacob Zuma, a whole president of South Africa claimed that he took a shower after r.aping a girl therefore he can't contract HIV. Isn't that mind blowing?

conspiracy theories aren't the solution. addressing the real issues (poor quality preventive health care, gender inequality, poverty etc) will produce better results.

HealthRe: Liberia Gives Available Doses Of Zmapp Three African Doctors by red101(f): 3:32am On Aug 18, 2014
this is very embarrassing. what about the nano silver thing? has that been tested?
at least what they should do with the zmapp is to study it and produce their own to help hundreds. not use up all the doses on 3 patients.
HealthRe: Nigerian Doctor Recovers, Discharges From Quarantine by red101(f): 5:03am On Aug 17, 2014
I hope they tested her to make sure the virus is completely gone from her system.
She may have recovered but still may be infectious.
HealthRe: Nano-silver Nigerian Ebola Drug Is A Pesticide- US by red101(f): 5:01am On Aug 17, 2014
This is silly. If it works, then it should be used.
Most drugs are dangerous. That's why they're drugs because they are very potent.
Tons of food in America are covered in pesticides so what's the big deal?

I'm actually glad that Nigerian scientists are actually working on treatments and cures rather than sitting on their behinds and waiting for zmapp.
