BananaBender: It just doesn't sound right calling what a vast majority of people in a country do an achievement.arghh are you a philosopher or something like that? I don't know maybe it's an achievement because of how it makes you feel. ex. celebrating your birthday, new car, graduation or newborn child, marrying someone you love etc. things that bring you happiness. |
valicious1: Table? No babe, its never played on a table, always floor.errrr do you have omnipotent powers to know how everyone in the country plays it? if memory serves me right, we used our tables and benches. |
how is it not an achievement if you accomplish your goal to get married? so you are saying that people should not set a goal to get married? Maybe they are lonely and not happy being single so the change of status to having a partner is a cause for celebration. Divorce parties and ceremonies are on the rise now. you can google it. if it makes you feel any better to see people celebrating singleness and new found freedom.LOL |
valicious1: You played it too?not if you play it on a table instead of the floor. |
hmmm interesting. Thanks for the information |
the pap smear scares me as well. |
There needs to be more effective organization and communication on the part of both countries. The guy didn't "sneak" into Lagos through thick forests and villages. He flew on an airplane and went through the airport. If he was truly under surveillance, airport security officials should be able to obtain the information and identify him. |
I like this thread. Once you have been through an illness, you seriously appreciate all the things you normally take for granted. Thank God for his protection over your life. |
Congratulations! You made it work. Your dress looks lovely and I like the dinner setting. Me, I was going to elope, but your story has given me an inspiration. first though, I need to find my husband-to-be. |
Kanwulia: Is there autism in Africa?Of course. Africa just lacks the medical sophistication and resources needed to diagnose and manage the condition. We usually leave it to spiritual explanations and call the person crazy, mad, mentally reta.rded, insane etc. |
She is black, beautiful and talented. Ah I love Tiwa Savage https://www.that1960chick.com/wp-content/uploads/TiwaSavageBikini_3_that1960chickdotcom.jpg |
ex. if you catch a thief in a car, you will destroy the car? catch a killer wearing a nice rolex watch, you will destroy the watch? catch a kidnapper in a house, you will destroy the house? What a waste. |
Good to know i'm not the only one who noticed something fishy about this. The demolition exercise needs to have a more logical explanation than the one being given. |
There has been a lot of church demolitions in the SE in the past 2 yrs. |
Nice pic. The children are beautiful.. |
with technologies like cell phones and other means of communicating your intentions, there is no excuse. Gboliwe: It can be very annoying especially when you have other plans.exactly. |
For me, it's about 7-8 hrs. |
I believe "respect" or "esteem" are better words. |
The borders should be closed. That's so wicked of those who are leaving the country with symptoms or known exposure. Very wicked. |
at what point do you add your seasonings and meat stock? how do you keep the stew from being too oily? someone please write a detailed recipe. thanks |
I am that I am. This is my favorite name for God. Happy Sunday, folks |
#9 looks interesting. |
biologically speaking, larger organisms have higher mortality than their smaller counterparts of the same species, all external factors being equal. and we all know men are taller and bigger than women. hence why they die earlier. |
mstik: In general, I totally agree with the writer that the African culture is being eroded. All cultures are always evolving. If a culture doesn't evolve or change, it means that the people can't adapt and are dying off or on the verge of extinction. look, we are typing in English on this technological internet platform. Does this mean that our culture is eroding or adapting? |
you are Nigerian or African if you have Nigerian or African ancestry or are a citizen of Nigeria or an African country. Identity politics have always existed and will always exist but we should be careful and not let the "us vs them" mentality cloud our rational judgement. |
Adamsynox: yes any problem with thatvery funny |
davidif: Up North. Close to Canada.Michigan? I have seen you before on another topic. Hi!! |
where are you? |
Symphony007: The law was passed by lawmakers in December and enacted in February by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, who said he wanted to deter Western groups from promoting homosexuality among African children. The motive behind the law is very suspicious to begin with. To "deter western groups." haha These African dictators who have been in power for almost 30yrs want to protect their position by all means. pity the scapegoats (gays, white farmers and other unpopular minority groups) caught in this political mess. |
jericco1: is there anything wrong with that? long as he doesn't point a gun in anyone's face... #it's sometimes harassment. |
it looks better than some airports! |
she's a beautiful woman |

I mean, its very annoying that in this day and time one will just wake up and decide to go visit and spend the night somewhere without pre-informing the host.
