Car Talk › Re: Amazing Image Of A Roll Royce Phantom In 1925 by redcliff: 6:21am On Sep 15, 2015 |
Intrepidone: Luxury car Rolls Royce Phantom has always been a class defining automobile....The car which is worth over $475,000 presently (about N79million) was pictured back in 1925 during a car event..... Each member of the Rolls Royce family displays a unique personality of its own but all continue to share the powerful presence for which Phantom is renowned. This car was definitely not manufactured in the 1920s as you can see, the picture quality, the mode of fashion and the aesthetics of the car says otherwise. |

The roads are not good, vehicles are not controlled to determine their roadworthiness, why would there not be these kinds of accidents? Romance › Re: 10 Reasons Why Long Courtship Should Be Avoided By Ladies. by redcliff: 12:26am On Sep 11, 2015 |
Cavenchy: The problem is not being in a long courtship, the issue is how well they get to know each other within the time frame of the relationship before marriage. Getting to know another human being entirely is a life long experience that can never be fully accomplished, our experiences in life shape us along the way and our priorities change after certain periods of time. I'lld rather contend that the bone-of-contention here shouldn't be the length(quantity) of the relationship, rather the richness(quality) of their experiences together in the relationship.
Haven't you met people who you've only known for a month and you feel like you've known them a lifetime? Haven't you seen relationships that last 8 years and the couples had only seen each other perhaps 4 times a year due to long distance or career situations?
I'll leave with this example. (more like a cliché): Even though the titanic movie was based on a scripted page inspired by a tragic event, most people think Jack and Rose would have made a perfect couple in a life-long marriage. Well interestingly, they both didn't date that long on the ship, but the quality of what they went through together would serve them a lifetime.
So bottom line: If the value (quality) of your experiences together in a relationship don't look like one that would last a lifetime after a considerable amount of time, focusing entirely on extending the length (quantity) of the relationship would be less likely to improve the quality. on point comment |

Poseidon000: If I am you. I won't give room for such nonesense. She either stop or we end the marriage.
It is really pathetic that you find yourself with such woman. I don't like divorce but I won't advice you stay with such woman who is so money centered. It's just like sleeping in same room with a snake. If you ain't careful. It will harm you one day. I am 90% certain that your wife will abadon you when things goes awry(God forbid) and she strike me like a person who may cheat or betray you.
You need to seek your inner self and ask your self,if you wanna build your future with such insensitive woman. If it comes out yes.then talk to her about such attitude and it effect on you. If she continues.
I strongly recommend you leave that woman. Even you don't feel the effect now. you can't escape it when you get past your productive days.(When you turn old man).
Please be careful with that woman. She is a potential snitch. Its obvious you are not married... smh. |

BRAVAGAD0O: Hello friends, 1st of all, I don't want you to see me as a man that involves third party in his marrital life/affair, am not that kind of man, in fact a lot of things go on that I rather let it stay in my home for us to sort or face together than involving family or friends but this challenge is really heavy for me to bear.
I don't really know what else to preach to her that I don't like her behavior anytime am broke ,for me it's a total turn off because it always makes me feel like am not being appreciated even with all my efforts to make us happy.
My wife nag anytime am broke or notice my pay ain't coming soon, all she does is play blame game like telling me all sort of story, like she never eat since last year, like she's not happy, that the marriage is hell because of just few days broke, and the few days broke doesn't mean no food for us, the few days broke doesn't mean I won't raise money to fuel generator talk less of some more important bills. I am just 10 months old in this marriage, please, real men in the house kindly advice me on what to do, if am the one being wrong here because I don't understand why she's always like that.
Lalasticlala I wouldn't mind front page at all because I really want to learn from all other husbands out there... Thanks Just 10months. Braceup ma niccur. The tsumani hasnt arrived yet. Verdammt! |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: Some people don't understand these things and will not keep quiet. I argued with a guy recently who said architects just draw, engineers build. And I wonder, did great architects like wright and ghery become great by just drawing? Well he is probably wrong.. the aec industry has become so integrated that architects these days own the buildings. With the wider use of bim and its technologies, its hard for an architects work to just end at the drawing. They are so relevnt even down to operations and maintenace phase |

Maccoy1: Am really confuse, all my life have never considered any other profession other than anything engineering because I love developing things from the scratch I.e I like to construct things like cars, planes, houses with waste materials, But with recent development, I discovered that I have a calling in architecture. but then I also discover that architects only design and go home but civil engineers are involved in every bit of the construction, and that is what I love doing; getting involved in every bit of the job.
Finally with the income aspect of it in nigeria which is more likely to end more or has more job opportunities. Why dont you do architectural engineering? |
Politics › Re: I Will Name My Cabinet This Month, Buhari Tells Ghana's President by redcliff: 8:12pm On Sep 07, 2015 |
Firefire: Buhari attempting to pacify the Ghanaians after the wicked treatment of 1983.
Good try. Please return home ASAP and form your cabinet, our economy is dying./
History
Most Nigerians will not remember this period, in fact, about 77% of Nigerians (that is Nigerians under the age of 35) were not born or were too young to understand what was happening at the time the term ‘Ghana must go’ was coined, but it was not in the very distant past.
In the 1970s, Ghana was facing a lot of economic hardship, just about the same time Nigeria had an oil boom, Nigeria’s economy was flourishing. Citizens of some West African countries (mostly Ghanaians) flocked into Nigeria in search of pastures green. In the early 1980s the oil boom somewhat subsided and there was also economic downturn in Nigeria due to low oil prices, jobs were no longer readily available even for Nigerians. The Federal Government decided that the Ghanaians and other African migrants had overstayed their welcome. The Nigerian government enacted an expulsion order in 1983, about 700,000 Ghanaians were returned to their country. The Ghanaians during the exodus used a peculiar type of bag to move their belongings; the bags were popularly termed by Nigerians as ‘Ghana must go’ bags. Well, Ghana left, and if you must know, Ghana is doing really well.
Ghana has since then attained significant economic growth and huge human development, which is majorly down to the growth in manufacturing and exportation of goods.
