I bought a bag of rice for 60k this afternoon in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Short/medium grain is 60k
Long grain is between 79k-84k
My choice brand of rice is 84k.

The price is dependent on type and brand you want to buy.

@ ajelomo, thank you for your write ups and clarification. from all your posts, it seems you know more about stanbic IBTC MMF. On many occasions i have calculated their stated interest rate and found out that it doesn't tally with interest credited on my account on a daily basis.

Secondly, sometimes last year i received dividend/profit sharing on my account at the end of third quarter and i was told it's done on a quarterly basis as told by one of their staff/marketer, but i haven't received such interest this year. Any explanation about this?

Thirdly, what is the difference between Net Inflow and Net Asset Value?

From my own observation, many mamas have been MIA due to one reason or the other. Pls, let's know how to encourage ourselves and find a way to reach those MIA mamas to know how they are. Let's also get ready to fix a date for our fasting and midnight prayers which many of us have agreed to embark on. Pls, our contribution of ideas are needed to make d plans successful.

@Trippletwins222, It shall be well with our soul. TTC is overwhelming and its energy draining. I pray there shall be flood of bfp announcement on the thread and many souls shall be lifted again.

I remember there was a time we did fasting and prayers for like three days, posted several prayer points. At another time, we had vigils and did conference calls at night, and it was awesome. We had so many testimonies the following months thereafter.
I want to suggest if we can do this again ( fasting and prayers) probably next week or in two weeks time.
Please indicate if you are in agreement with this.

In my own opinion, it's a miracle because not all IVF procedures are successful. So if an awaiting mother can achieve pregnancy through IVF, then it's a miracle.

At times TTC makes me do some stupid things like wearing of sanitary pad before AF shows its ugly face on the expected day to avoid embarrassment. May God help my faith.

Heard a testimony of a woman recently whom the doctors have written off that she can never conceive naturally or have successful ivf because her womb was dead. But when the King of glory stepped in, she got pregnant, carried to full term and delivered safely. When she called the doctor to inform him she was pregnant, his response was this can only be a miracle.

I know that waiting period is not an easy one but I pray that God's grace will be sufficient for us. He will keep our homes and we shall not be put to shame in Jesus name.
