She had one or two average games at best but didn't give any spectacular display to justify making the roster on merit. Also, you have to consider the competition for better context. She's a Guard and will probably be battling for a spot with the likes of Promise and Kalu and you can't objectively say she's better than both of them. She has a lower 3% point percentage than them, she pales in defence compared to them and of course can't run the floor the way they both do. Important to note that the quality of league she's played in (Kenya and now Iceland) compared to the quality of opposition we will face at the Olympics (the very best in the world) is also a disadvantage for her.

Yes, Ogoke should retire. She has been playing for Dtigress since around 2015. The captain's band should be given to Pallas Kunaiyi Akpanah or Elizabeth Balogun. Balogun is preferable for me because she has leadership traits. Adaora Elonu can continue as Captain if she is coming back to the fold.

Note that Okoro did not get enough playing time on the court. She was used sparingly throughout Afro basket in Kigali last year. Yet, she showed lots of courage and promised. At least, she is now playing in Europe. Iceland is a good starting point. She will move to clubs in Spain, France etc as time goes on. She is still young. She is 24. We should not forget that Ifunanya Okoro will play in European Inter Club tournaments where her club will play against clubs from major European countries. I believe she will gain more experience as time goes on. Cheers.

I just found out that Ifunanya Okoro plays for Tindastoll in Iceland. She is already playing in Europe. This is very interesting. She has been scoring an average of 20 points per game for Tindastoll. So, why are we not talking about Okoro? We need her next month at the Qualifiers for the Olympics.

Ifunanya Okoro is better than some of the names being mentioned on this thread. Where are you placing her? Okoro was great during last year's Afrobasket for Women in Kigali, Rwanda. She played well. Check her stats. She should be on the merit list for the Olympic Qualifiers in February. I am rooting for her 100%. She is Nigerian raised who moved to Kenya Ports Authority ( KPA ) where she has made her mark. I believe Okoro will do well professionally in Europe.

Ogoke is due for retirement. She should be drafted into the Management team of D'tigress . She has a future with the team not as the Coach, but as part of the Management Squad. I am a huge fan of Sarah Ogoke, but it is time for her to RETIRE. As for Kalu and the 2021 Dtigress Squad, they are welcome back into the new order taking shape.

OP, you can also open a tutorial center. Collect 200 on a daily basis from students about to write WAEC, GCE, NECO and JAMB. Even Common entrance Candidates. Get good teachers for Maths and Chemistry/Physics. You can teach the other subjects yourself. Market your tutorial center well and make sure you teach your students properly. Rent a place for the business, especially buildings that have been roofed but have not been completed. It is a good business.

To me people doing dis type of business are living from hand to mouth. They are struggling.

That is what you think. The secret is to produce in large quantities. And have many customers you are supplying to. Then one needs to be able to look for cheaper subsitutes for each ingredient. Find ways to reduce the cost of production. I can't release all the secrets here. Bye.

This is another good idea. However, OP should be careful of guys and ladies buying clothes on credit and chronic debtors . Please, insist on immediate payment for the clothes and shoes. Cheers.

OP, go into food business. Learn how to make snacks e.g Donuts, Chinchin, Potato Chips, Popcorn, plantain chips etc and supply them to schools etc. Know how to market the snacks. Know how to source for your ingredients at cheap prices. Try and use coal pot to make the snacks, to save money. Food business hardly fails. With 100,000 sef, you can start something. You need to be passionate about it though.

Feed making is not rocket science, you know. There are feed formulas all over the web . I intend to create my own types of feed as time goes on. Also there are cheap but good feeds in the market, you just have to search for where you can buy them. Chickens can feed on all kinds of grains, especially cockerels . I grew up in a house where my dad raised Chickens for eggs and for sale at Christmas. So I am not a newbie to this thing I want to embark on.

About sales, no doubt you’ll struggle bcoz the middlemen and the raw materials producer/feed producer have strong hold in the business/game, they’ll dish whatever they have at their desired price and when desperation hits you na loses upon loses

Either you sell as a middle man by having your own open location displaying your chicken on daily basis or you produce your own raw materials by involving yourself in more agricultural produces to escape the ruthless competition, no body will pity you.

The roofing is not Aluminium sheets. We used Nigerite Lite Life Span sheets for the roofing. The inside of the place is always cool ( on hot or sunny days ) due to the material used to make the roofing sheets. The sheets look like asbestos, but it is not asbestos. It is a new kind of material.

As per sales, I am thinking of buying day old cockerels, breed them for 6 weeks and then sell them off. And then repeat the process. Rinse and Repeat several times through the year. So I am not breeding the cockerels to full maturity. I will have to look for buyers and create a market for the birds. I have my marketing plans. Your advice is noted though. Thanks.

Grretings OP. I suggest that you search out threads of reliable and consistent poultry bird sellers and maybe email or WhatsApp them with your question. Also you could seek the opinion of persons like noeloge82, emmachile2, jidestroud, some of the succesful poultry farmers on nairaland. You could reach out to them too. Their whatsapp contacts can be found on their threads with a little digging. All the best.

The place has lots of windows though. I believe Cockerels will do well in the place. Or noilers. Yes, cramming the birds is not a good idea. Finding customers to purchase the birds during non festive months is what I am thinking about now. What's your suggestion? Thanks.

The right species of the bird comes to play given ventilation. I highly recommend cockerels for this project. If you do cockerels, you won't have problems raising even 450 in this apartment

Thanks, Sir. People have not really moved into the area yet. Maybe because the place lacks electricity at the moment. There is no one living close to the place. There is a candle factory about 300 meters away, and another property which is inhabited about 600 meters to the left. All the other lands around have been cleared, but barren of buildings, or have been purchased with no structures on them ( Bush ).

Yes, it is far from residential buildings. There is no human habitation near the place. It is still a developing site and the nearest place where a man and his family lives is like 600 meters away.

The reason my brother is giving is that it is not airy enough, but I have explained to him that the place has many windows and doors ( As you can see ) that will be open for enough ventilation. There will be nets behind the doors and windows to prevent insects and rats from entering the place. The doors will be shut at night though.
