OBJ encouraged Nigerians to plant more Cassava and support Cassava Flour to make bread. Wheat is not a Nigerian crop. We have our own local crops- Cassava, Guinea Corn, Millet etc and flour can be derived from these crops. We refused to listen to those pushing for Cassava Bread. Besides, Nigerians are very greedy. Even if Cassava flour becomes widely available in Nigeria, bread prices will still increase. We are at the mercy of increase in bread prices because we import wheat ![]() |

pacespot:Obidients have been meeting in the South West too. Ikorodu obidients had their meeting recently. You can start your own small group of Obi supporters and hold meetings in your sitting room or office or church. Cheers. |
Labour Party and Peter Obi will do well in the south West . Obidients are also gaining ground in the North e.g Kano and Kaduna. If the Obi Movement can sustain it's ongoing campaign in the North, Obi can win the elections. Some strong politicians in the North are defecting to the Labour Party. Influential Northerners are pitching their tents with the Labour Party and Obi - Datti . Obi's running mate is a Northerner, mind you. Datti Ahmed is from Kaduna and he is an experienced politician . Don't write off a Obi victory next year. Cheers. |
Hi Sharrif, thanks for your useful threads in this section of nairaland. Please, how many paint buckets can one get from a 100kg bag of guinea corn. Yellow guinea corn to be specific. Thanks.

Good morning, Nairalanders . How are you all? May the good lord continue to be with you and your families. Amen. Please, is there anyone on this thread who knows someone working in a flour mill in Nigeria ( Flour Mills of Nigeria, Olam, Crown Flour Mills, Life Flour Mills etc )? Or are you working in a flour mill yourself? How much is a bag of flour if someone wants to buy wholesale direct from the mill or factory e.g 1 tonne or 300 bags per month? Like if I want to buy 300 bags of flour from your factory or flour mill per month, how much will you sell for me per bag? Thanks. If you are working in a flour mill, please let me hear from you. Please explain the process of buying wheat flour from factories in bulk in Nigeria. Thanks. I look forward to your contributions, great nairalanders. Thanks.

Drive to remote areas of the southwest. You will buy cheap fruits in villages in Oyo, Ondo, Osun etc ![]() |
I have been following your threads. I am deeply interested in briquettes for industrial production of snacks and as a biofuel. The only thing I am scared of is Nigerians increasing the price of this thing greedily when they invest in it in huge numbers. Hmm. |
Thanks for your responses, Nairalanders. I was so happy when this thread made the front page . The Moderators, please receive my gratitude. God bless you. I can see that Chin-chin is loved by Nigerians and seems to have won this contest . I will leave it for another week for more comments and count the scores. I am in team Chin-chin by the way .
|
Keep the cooments coming, Nairalanders. Thanks. |
Kobojunkie:Well made chin-chin . Thanks, sir. Tasty chin-chin rocks . |
lilvicky68:Ha, I can see the chin-chin haters here Chin-chin is good o . I rep the chin-chin brigade. |
Babaken:Thank you, My brother. God bless you. Thanks. |
Is Chin-chin more popular than biscuits in Nigeria? Will you buy chin-chin rather than biscuits if you are given 500 Naira to make a purchase of any of the two? Please let me hear from you. Thanks.
|
Hello Food lovers on Nairaland . How are you doing? May the good lord continue to be with you. Amen. I am conducting a research on Chin-chin and Biscuits. I know Nigerians love eating both of them . I would love to know which one of these savoury snacks that you love most. Please give reasons why you love chin-chin more than biscuits or the reverse. I will appreciate your contributions and comments. I want to find out something. Thanks. NB: You can tell us your favourite brand of biscuit or chin-chin if you want to do that. Cheers.

arsenic33:Nice move. I will need land to lease in the Imota- Isiu axis of Ikorodu for farming grains. How big is an acre of land, my brother? Thanks . |
I know Ebun Okubanjo. He was my Junior in secondary school ( JOGS ). Hmm. He is the cousin of Mayowa and Femi Okubanjo. He has a brother called Laolu. I hope he can become a better person soon. |
amuwo1980:How about potatoes and Sweet potatoes? How many potatoes do we plant in southern Nigeria? Intact, we should be planting more grains in southern Nigeria. We are acres and plot farmers in south west Nigeria. All the sorghum and millet in southern Nigerian markets, who is eating them ? Go and sit down. |
amuwo1980:You are really ignorant. Very ignorant. So, Sorghum and millet are not nutritious . Why don't you read up on these two grains before talking ? The North cultivates Groundnuts, Soyabeans and Wheat too. Most of the maize cultivated in Nigeria comes from the North. Dawanu Market is the biggest grains market in Africa. It is located in Kano State. Your tomatoes and pepper come from the Northern States. Same with Onions and sesame seeds. Or are you saying we plant more maize in southern Nigeria? Do you know the kinds of food that can be made with Sorghum? How about Fonio ( Acha )?. Please, don't spread misinformation, please .Thanks. |
ambr055i:Very deep words you've spoken . Thanks. |
