PoliticsRe: Subsidy: Food Prices, Others Soar As Labour Mobilises For Strike by Redman44(m): 11:23am On Jun 04, 2023
Very soon, your children might not be able to eat 50 naira chin chin again. 50 naira biscuits and chinchin might become a thing of the past if care is not taken in Nigeria. If flour prices increase again due to fuel subsidy removal, bread will become unaffordable for many Nigerians. Start praying that fuel price will reduce to at least 300 naira. Cheers.

Where was this opportunity when I visited the country last year? I opened threads here asking for means to work without papers. All I faced were continued deletions from the moderators and silence the few minutes the threads were visible.
You don't expect nairalanders to tell you how to work without papers online, do you? You have to figure it out for yourself. Use your brain. So you want people to let you into their secrets so that their money making avenues and routes will be blocked lipsrsealed by the UK government. Look at the Afghans and Pakis in the UK. How do the illegals among them survive?.Cheers.

Guy, take am from me. It’s worse.

I never experience the bad yet, however men say hunger and cold go knack you sotey you go catch depression. Cold sweet if money full ground, but once you broke, na hell. Hell better pass, sef. For UK, relatives and friends dey hold on to cash based on paying bills. Here for Naija, man fit reach out to generous uncles and aunties. At the very worst, one uncle fit knack you five thousand Naira to use hold body. Pata pata, twelve meals of four hundred Naira each don set. For UK, ten pounds (enough for only two fast food meals) no fit drop from anybody other than your nuclear family. Many locations for UK get rules in place to deter begging. Some with signboards reminding people to ignore the homeless. Not only say hunger and cold go knack you, the citizens go treat you like who get leprosy.

Omoh, leave am. At least Naija get shade to hide from sun. UK no get any form of respite when cold full everywhere. Summer warm small during the daytime, but three hundred and sixty-five nights of living in the UK na teeth-chattering cold.
Hmm. UK is not as bad as you have claimed. You will always find something to do if you are hardworking in the UK. I have been there, done that. You don't need anyone to feed you in the UK if you get on the job boards and find something to do. Papers or no papers, you can do something that will bring you money on a daily basis .And if you are clever, you can make lots of money doing odd jobs. UK is not cold for365 days. There are at least 100 warm days and nights in the Midlands of the UK. Maybe you are talking about Scotland which is colder than England. Abeg, free the OP. Cheers.

Yeah ...like diesel and aviation fuel and kerosene that has even vanished!

Why are the citizens of Nigeria made to pay for the inability of government to manage refineries or stop subsidy theft!

If we have crude oil ,,we should be paying a pittance for fuel like most co tries with this natural resource.
Nigeria does not have any business importing refined oil. We are a oil producing country and petrol per litre should not be more than 350 naira per litre. We have more oil than Angola and Algeria, yet these nations pay below 250 naira per litre of petrol . Oil prices have to go down.

FoodRe: I Feed My Baby With ₦ 800 For 4 Months by Redman44(m): 3:18am On May 02, 2023
Obavoh:
I fed all my 4 babies with this recipe and they are all healthy and chubby.
You don’t have to borrow money to buy foreign baby food when we have natural resources here.

2 Mudu of corn - free (I plant, harvest and dry myself)

1 Mudu of pearl millet, Gero- 150

1 mudu of Guinea corn- 120

½ mudu of white beans- 200

1 Mudu of tuwo rice- 300

I will pick out stones and dirt from the grains before washing and drying in the sun for at least 3 days.

I take the grains to
dry mill to grind to powder.
You guys should stop condemning this dude. Has any of his 4 children died? NO. All the grains he ground together contain other nutrients apart from Carbohydrates. Guinea Corn and Millet contain protein, magnesium, calcium, Vitamin B1 and Vitamin B6, Fibre etc. Millet also contains calcium and iron. So, he is not doing anything wrong. We have to start thinking in Nigeria. All the baby food like Cerelac etc have their own deficiencies and they are factory processed. Let us focus on our native grains. Cheers.
