Uyi168:Hmm. You are right in a way. It is our culture in Nigeria to always want to know if others are measuring up to our expectations. |
AoifeNightfall:Some reunions can actually become a catalyst for love to be rekindled . For those who can relate . |
missidy:You must have gone through some bad vibes hanging out on whatsapp with your classmates. Ladies are very competitive though. However, I believe we should all respect one another irrespective of achievements. Reunions should not be an avenue to show off and intimidate others with wealth, cars etc. |
thesicilian:I think Primary School reunions will be more interesting though. You are really not interested in your classmates. I do not want a reunion in which some people will be sitting in a corner looking inferior or feeling they are being oppressed by their mates. God help us all. Amen. |
Senomi:Ha |
MufasaLion:Blunt man . Na wa o. It seems you do not like your classmates that much. What happened, my friend . |
I am asking once again- Are Reunions worth attending? |
clothingonline:Yes, some people will always want to prove that they are better than others. I don't like that kind of behaviour. Helping struggling classmates after meeting them at Reunions is a great thing. Let's help one another. Thanks, my brother. |
BigDawsNet:Some classmates will not attend because of inferiority complex. Or they believe they have not achieved enough things in life. Hmm. |
Do you believe in Primary School, Secondary School, University, Polytechnic, College of Education etc School Reunions? Have you attended one before? What happened at the event? Do think School/Class Reunions are worth it? Do you think people show off at these events? Tell us about the Class/School Reunion you attended recently. How did it go? What are your observations? What do you think should be done to minimize the display of wealth or the forming of cliques at School/Class Reunion events? I will like to hear from fellow Nairalanders on this issue . Tell us about your feelings about School/Class Reunions in Nigeria. What was your own personal experience. You can decide to tell us the name of your Alma Mater if you wish. Thanks.

Orente21:Yes, I am a Primary School teacher at the moment ( Stop Gap job ). The school is not far from where I live. About 10 Mins walk. I teach about 12 Subjects for two classes ( Basic 2 and 3 ). It is not easy job as I have to write lesson notes weekly. The Proprietress is not too demanding and she pays on time. She does not owe teachers at all . I think Primary School is more profitable if you can get more students every term. There are more Primary Schools than Secondary Schools in Nigeria for a reason- It is easier to run a Primary School. Primary School owners also make money from selling Uniforms, books, textbooks, notebooks etc. If you have more than 100 pupils in your school, you will make money. Cheers. This thread should make the Front Page. |

Queenslander:Onyenwere can be convinced to play for D'tigress at the World Cup. Let the NBBF and the Coaching crew get to work concerning recruitment. |
lovewins:I agree with you on this one . |
naptu2:D'tigress will beat Mali. I believe in our ladies. |
Evelyn Akhator needs to come back to the squad. We need her .
|
Chiney Ogwumike should start coming to camp to compete for a shirt in D'tigress squad . I don't know why she is not in in Serbia at the moment. She was cleared to play for Nigeria as a naturalized Nigerian last year, just before the Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She should not wait until Camping starts for the World Cup in Australia later in the year, before she starts looking for a way into the Squad. Many USA born Nigerian ladies will be eyeing a spot in D'tigress roster for this year's FIBA Women's World Cup. Hmn.
|
Chiney Ogwumike . She should be staking her position in D'tigress with this FIBA Women's World Cup qualifiers. She was certified 'Naturalized ' as a Nigerian and therefore eligible to play for Nigeria since the Olympics last year. She won't stake her claim now o. Many players will now come out of the woodwork to play for Nigeria in Australia later this year. Hmn.

koning:Victoria Macaulay is not Igbo. Amukamara is not Igbo. There are Edo, Yoruba and a Hausa girl on the team. |

It is up to you. Go if you want to go or stay. Just remember that Rabiu Abdulsamad and others are cornering Nigeria for themselves. |
RaptorX:well spoken. thanks. |
Ondo State or Oyo State. They are viable states where you can settle down and start a Snacks business ![]() Especially Oyo State with so many secondary schools and primary schools there. It is a biscuit factory's target market. Just learn how to make Cakes, Chin-chin, donuts etc and settle in one of them. Cheers. |

shantti:Why don't you try it out yourself and see? The cow milk you all admire has stuff added it to it to make it sweet and tasty in your mouth. The natural cow milk is not sweet at all. They have added flavors and other chemicals to make cowbell, Dano, peak milk etc tasty and drinkable. Plant based milk can be flavored and sugared too for garri drinking. |
[quote author=nedekid post=109248084]Lolz, buhari reseting our brains. He is making us know "knowledge is power". How to use cowpea as milk. ![]() Bros if it is not miliki from the tits of cow, it is not cow milk but cowpea juice, cannot be both [/quote@nedekid, let me school you today. Plant based milk is better than cow milk. Milk can be gotten from Plants too. I am a researcher when it comes to Plant based milk and alternative sources of vegetable oil. It is just that the food companies promote cow milk more than other kinds of milk. Milk from cowpea is nutritious and healthy. Milk can be gotten from bambara nuts ( legume ) and Soya beans too. It is all about being knowledgeable about these things. Cheers. |
Knowledge is Power. Use local alternative milk sources. Get dried cocoa beans and make your own 'my Vita chocolate drink ' . Plant based Milk can be gotten from Cowpea etc. |
SocialJustice:Your friend's chickens are most likely crossbreeds of local and agric chickens. This is why they hatch their eggs. |
Lagoontimes:Thanks for this piece of information. Cheers. |
Upload pictures of the Factory for people to see what you are selling . Upload about 10 pictures of the place. Cheers. A word is enough for the wise. |
kingdaddie1:You can buy 2 Cockerels ( Agric ) chicks and let them grow up with the local fowls. These Agric cockerels will learn to be immune to diseases and they will grow up to mate with the female local fowls- This will help you get crossbreeds chickens that will be bigger and lay bigger eggs for you. With crossbreed local chickens, you will make more money. Try the experiment out this year. Buy the young pullets of the cockerels attached to this post.
