The DTigers Squad to be formed

1. Obi Emegano
2. Stan Okoye
3. Ike Iroegbu
4. Tosin Mehinti
5. Keith Omoeirah
6. Mekwuolu
7. Al Farooq Aminu
8. Benjamin Emelogu
9. Deji Akindele
10. Michael Gbinije
11. Chimezie Metu ( captain ).
12. Josh Okogie.

The above is my dream squad for the next round of qualifiers. NBBF should try and invite the players listed above. It is a crack squad that can deliver the goods for us.
The DTigers team above will beat Cape Verde. You can take that to the bank. We just need a good coach to inspire the team. Cheers.

What about Nwora and Gabe Vincent? I don't think Aminu has played pro basketball since he was traded to the Bulls last year..
I am not sure if Nwora and Gabe Vincent have indicated that they will make themselves available for this stage of the qualifiers. Metu and OKOGIE have indicated that they will play in this month's qualifying window.

The 6 players on the reserve that can be called in if some players do not turn up.

1. Ben Uzoh
2. Andy Ogide ( part of the 2015 Afro basket team . He is still playing well. He plays in Spain now ).
3. Uche Iroegbu
4. Stephen Domingo
5. Ike Nwamu
6. TK Edogi ( Very reliable player ).

What is crucial at this stage is that we need consistency. This squad should be used throughout this last stage of the qualifiers. Players must make themselves available .We must get the ticket at all costs. Thanks.

The top 3 teams from each group in the first round were paired against each other... Group A teams and group C...Group B with group D ..
So we now have group E(top 3 in A and C) and group F (top 3 in B and D)..
Since Mali result has been annulled, we,alongside Cape Verde and Guinea are adjudged to have played 4 games as against 6 games by the other group members.. This put us at a disadvantage..
For instance,we are on 6 points...Ivory Coast who top the group are on 12 points...
It doesn't make any sense...

We have to finish in the top 2 to qualify for the world cup ...3rd place means we will be ranked against the 3rd ranked team in group F....Given the circumstances, it also put us at a disadvantage..

Mali seem to be all out to pour sand in our garri for both the male and female team grin
I believe we can still qualify for the Men's Basketball World Cup. Ivory Coast, Cape Verde, Guinea and Angola are not our mates in basketball. We just need to select a good squad that will be regular for this stage of the qualifiers. The problem is we have not been selecting a gifted but regular squad since the qualifiers started. The players have to show commitment at this stage of the qualifiers of we desire to be at the World Cup. Here is my list of players 18 man squad the NBBF can use to pick up a ticket for the FIBA Men's World Cup.

Forget about APC. This election is for the Labour Party to win. The current campaign by Obidients must be sustained till election day. If you are in the South West, please we still have a lot of work to do in Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti and yoruba areas of Kogi and Kwara States. Obidients in Ikorodu, Loud it, please. If we don't go door to door in the South West, PDP will win Yoruba land to our detriment.

So, please print flyers of Obi and the Labour Party and get to work. We have to cover Yoruba Land before December 2022. Cheers.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Know The Truth, Peter Obi Replies Tinubu by Redman44(m): 2:11am On Aug 11, 2022
No need to argue on Social Media, Obidients. We still have a lot of work to do . Door to Door Campaigns for Peter Obi is very important. We have a good social media team in place. So leave the job for OBIDIENT influencers on Twitter and Facebook. Go on Twitter and download a Peter Obi/Datti Ahmed Leaflet or flyer. Make 500 copies of the flyer from your local printer and campaign for Obi and the Labour Party in your area. You can start with that. Take pictures of your campaign and post them on Twitter and Facebook. This will inspire other OBIDIENT Nigerians to follow suit. Cheers.

This Rhodes Vivour guy will find it hard winning the Governorship elections in Lagos State. However, he is youthful and handsome. He can galvanize votes for the Labour Party in Lagos and help put Obi into Aso Rock. The Labour Party chairman should use Vivour as a rallying symbol for youths in South West Nigeria. There are still many undecided youths in Yoruba land : Lagos, Ogun,Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara ( Yoruba Areas ), Kogi ( Yoruba Areas ). This election can be won by the Labour Party. Cheers.

Someone should tell Tinubu to come to the media and start taking questions from Nigerians and stop releasing statements through one yeye organisation.

After experiencing what we went through under Buhari, I cannot believe that people will have the guts to campaign for another sick grandpa.
Labour Party faithfuls should realize that we OBIDIENT Nigerians have a strong social media squad in place. We have moved to the 2ND phase of the Peter Obi / Senator Datti Baba Ahmed campaign for Aso Rock. Please if you are going to vote for Peter Obi, start preaching about him from house to house in your neighborhood. Or simply buy the Labour Party shirt and wear it around your community. You can also start a email campaign or create a whatsapp group of obidients in your church or mosque and coordinate people to vote for Peter Obi. Let our social media promoters do their job online while we commence physical preaching of Obi 's candidacy. Together, we shall win next year. Amen.

Now, you're sulking because the heat is on you.
One thing I like about this whole thing is this. The people has realized the lies they used to put Nigerians in bondage. Tinubu packaged a very good product (according to them) to Nigerians in Buhari supported by Lai Mohammed and co.s.
Now they're excusing themselves from his failure and coming to tell us they'll do better than he did.
We don't listen to propaganda to vote the right person.
If he knows what's best for him, himself and Atiku should excuse themselves from the race because they've failed Nigerians woefully
Thank you for your frankness. If you are OBIDIENT, please print flyers about Peter Obj and campaign for him in your neighborhood. And on election day, make sure you are the first to reach the voting center to cast your vote for him and the Labour Party. We OBIDIENT people are all over Nigeria . Let us all do our bit on that day in February and put Obi in to Aso Rock. Thanks .

Hey, measure the feelings on the streets. People are disenchanted with APC and it is so sad that Tinubu is the APC candidate. All the recent stories about Tinubu and the exposes by David Hundeyin about the current governments ineptitude will work against the APC and Tinubu. An Osinbajo candidature would have helped the APC. See, lots of youths all over the country are OBIDIENTS.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi And Yusuf Datti Receive British High Commissioner To Nigeria by Redman44(m): 4:49pm On Aug 04, 2022
These are my projections for the 2023 elections for Peter Obi.

1. Obi and LP will win the South East and South South states convincingly.
2. Obi and LP will record substantial votes in the South West though the party will be behind APC and PDP in votes in Yorubaland. However, if the youths vote in huge numbers in Yoruba land, LP could surprisingly win 2 states in the South West. I see Obi getting 40% votes in all southwest states.
3. The middle belt might vote for LP and Obi if the current campaigns of obidients wax stronger there.
4. The Northern States will go to PDP and APC but LP can get 25% in some states surprisingly. LP has just started campaigns in these North West and North East.
5. At the end of the day, the Presidential elections will be decided on the actual number of votes recorded for each Party. I foresee more than 10 days of INEC counting votes to determine who and which party actually won the Presidential Elections in 2023. Get ready to watch NTA, TVC, Channels for 10 straight days next year. Cheers.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi And Yusuf Datti Receive British High Commissioner To Nigeria by Redman44(m): 4:30pm On Aug 04, 2022
Honestly, I don't see Tinubu winning the elections next year. Too many odds against APC. Apc will lose more states in the governorship elections. Yes, people will still vote for APC but the votes for LP and PDP will be more due to economic conditions in Nigeria. The battle is actually between LP and PDP. Labour Party and the OBI-Datti ticket is making serious inroads into Northern Nigeria. The election will be too close to call between the three parties.

Mrs Dudu Manuga was chosen as the Women Leader of the Labour Party as a strategic move. She will coordinate northern women to support the Labour Party during rallies and campaigns in Northern States. Obi needs the Northern votes and Hausa- Fulani women will listen to Mrs Manuga on the campaign trail. Women are very emotional and will vote for LP if Manuga reaches out to them. Very good choice by LP. I believe Obi-datti will do well in the North.

I get your point. Basically we should cut our cloth to our size. Use our local ingredients to make our bread. Fair enough. My issue with that is that we are used to eating our kind of bread which is made of wheat. Yes, Nigeria does not produce wheat, and so also 80% of other countries in the world. They import. Roti or what I call tandoori is primarily made from wheat in India, Middle East and lots of other places. You only find a little percentage made from other grains as you rightly said, possibly in some village settings. But primarily from wheat. I know cause I eat tandoori once in a while at restaurants with curry.
Anyway, my point is that due to lack caused by mismanagement, Nigerians should not have their standard of living destroyed. It has been attempted before and Nigerians rejected it. Ie mixing wheat with other grains to make bread. Heck they even tried it with soya milk as a replacement for cow milk! Nigerians rejected that crap! I remember during nysc days in the 90s, monies released for milk they will rather buy soya milk to give is to add to tea, papa etc. Omo, we rejected it! They said it was healthier, we said rather if we are sick we would go to hospital and treat ourselves, give us MILK!
Do you think buhari and his kids, Tinubu and his puppies etc will ever say because country has no money they will manage and eat cassava bread, laced with millet and some other crap? Naa, they will eat bread made from the finest wheat, joined with the finest cheese from the south of France. SO WILL WE TOO!!
In answering your question, I have never eaten cassava bread, but if we want to bake something made with cassava and call it a food name, OK, but no be bread.
No moni no moni, Niger Republic asked for as stance from Nigeria to buy vehicles for moving vips, our usless gifted them 10 brand new Toyota landcruiser jeeps at ₦1.4b!. No monie no monie even for ASUU or to build refinary, but our gov took "loan" of $3.4b to build train line to maradi in another country.
Bros Bros, Nigerians should not be made to eat agbado, cassava, ewa, garri because of some other people's wickedness and incompetence!
It will only take some time, but people will gradually warm up to Cassava Bread and bread made from our local grains. We have to start making that paradigm shift food wise now. It is now or never. My wife is a cake maker. By next week, I am going to tell her to make sorghum-wheat bread for us to eat. Then we will try cassava bread next month. We will bake the cassava bread ourselves with cassava flour. We are not planting enough wheat in Nigeria. Cheers.

Millet and Sorghum are not crap grains. Too much wheat is not even good for the body. We look down on Sorghum ( Guinea Corn ), Millet and our other local grains as crap because we don't promote them. And there is nothing wrong with soya milk. It is plant based milk. The cow milk you are talking about is not the milk that comes from the cow directly. They have added sugar and other things to it in the milk or dairy factory to make it sweeter. Cow milk has a different taste to the milks packaged as Peak, Dano, Cowbell etc.

Indian roti bread is made primarily with sorghum or millet. Millet and Sorghum have nutrients that are good for our body. They have fiber, carbohydrates etc .Wheat is not our local grain. This is why it is expensive. We must start start welcoming bread made from our local grains and cassava. Cheers.

Oga, bread is made from wheat worldwide and not from cassava flour. Call the cassava-bread like product what ever but bread made from wheat!
Seems some of us have started to resign our fate to cassava, agbado, garri with learning how to clean, cock and shoot gun.
Anyway it will never be our portion IJN.
.

Sir, have you eaten Cassava bread before? Wheat flour has become expensive, so what should we do? We should look inwards and find alternatives to wheat flour. We have our own local grains that we can use as composite flour along with wheat flour to make bread : 70 to 30 % ratio. Cassava flour at 100% level can be used to make acceptable bread.

In India, they make bread with Sorghum ( Guinea Corn ) and Millet. They call it Rotti or something . A flat kind of bread . Wheat is not a Nigerian local crop and that is why it is costly. Our local grains are not costly. We need to be more innovative in Nigeria. Acceptable bread can be made from Maize. Cheers.

OBJ encouraged Nigerians to plant more Cassava and support Cassava Flour to make bread. Wheat is not a Nigerian crop. We have our own local crops- Cassava, Guinea Corn, Millet etc and flour can be derived from these crops. We refused to listen to those pushing for Cassava Bread. Besides, Nigerians are very greedy. Even if Cassava flour becomes widely available in Nigeria, bread prices will still increase. We are at the mercy of increase in bread prices because we import wheat sad angry
