Lakuli jalailu male and female, o ye fortunate ones; aluwala safu lilahi! Kai!!! And I belong to the same country with these heaven and earth forsaken drunkards called lawmakers; quite unbelievable |
To be honest, BRF's effort and success as governor has not achieved any success at all unless his successor succeeds; thus it is not the case of imposition but looking inwards to bring out the "better than the best" person. looking at the profile of this man (Hamzat), no doubt that he will do wonders. just praying that we get the class of "Fashola" leaders in every region in Nigeria where service to humanity ad nation will be the watchword, and the people will be enlightened to see the need to vote based on competence and not sentiment. |
imperiouxx: Fourthonded!Then I fifthonded it ![]() |
@bbamega, I see you o. Happy new year!!! How is Armidale? |
^^^ From the projected cost, I am thinking an advanced diploma would be better than the MSc program. |
mimi1147: @ jennyWhy scareth thou? @Ferdimako, you will surely ace the score, so no lele |
ferdimako: Ok.I just hope Embassy accepts the TOEFL because someone has used it recently.I've IELTS phobia at the moment. So you no get liver at all ![]() They will accept it, since it is for study. |
If the school doesnt request for IELTS, send eiter the embassy or the school a mail to enquire about the language clause. I read it on their website that they require 6.5 overall and 6.0 minimum for each band, for MSc. |
Americanvisa: @jenny,what is the IELTS required score by the embassy for masters program, they said in the website that one should contact the university and according to some university they accept 6.0 in all band and 6.5 overall for masters program. The minimum is 6.5 overall with 6.0 at leastin each band; for an education degree, it is higher than that. @Jenny, I have read through the whole thing. I would urge you to let go. Reason why I said so is that information is power. I have about 6 offer letters from 6 universities in Australia and 1 from New Zealand and ALL of them sad I must PAY the 1st semester fee before I get the COE. Secondly, I have related by mail with PFL director Oceania and he never told me what the guy insinuated at all. It is a free world and anyone ca ln to follow anyone. The only person I know on that thread is Americanvisa and I won't expect him to hook the bait of that guy. The immigration website gave direction for getting the student visa ad it negates what the guy stated. God does wonders, I know, but he does it according to the rules and regulations. It is his business and anybody that chooses to believe and follow his way is free to do so; good luck to him/them. I wouldn't want any row between you and Americanvisa at all because it will hurt me, ad I will want Americanvisa to follow his heart and stick with what he has shared with us here as his family. When @manmeta came, he emphasized on PR route rather than student route and he stood by it from day 1 he started commenting here. I have never said anything or changed my mind or offered advice on that route becase I have no business there, as I have already told the house that I desire going for study, even if it is costly, jut because I focus on my own laid down track. I belong to a Chinese forum for people going to the school I am going in Hong Kong and I told them from day 1 that I a planning my life along research line and no one can bring anythin to confuse me to dump my plans. I believe @AV knows his plans and he will decide based on what he has officially read and not what someone has said; therefore @Jenny, just let go. You have been wonderful here ad I wil always respect and appreciate you for your help and contributions so far. |
@Jenny, na 26th of next month I dey go o. |
Accusation 002? Where, when, why and how? |
^^^ Firstly, congratulations on the admission offer. You don't really need a large sum of money to be able to secure a visa to study. You will required to pay for the first semester, and then show evidence of payment of all fees for the remaining parts of the first year. Afterwards, the embassy will want to believe that your sponsor should be able to release funds to sponsor you for the second the year. This said, you can be able to pay some fees, like feeding and other fees from the money you make from the work you are able to do. Mind you, during school session, you are entitled to 20hrs/week but unlimited hours during holidays. |
^^^ Kin le wi naa? Mi o gbo Yoruba but I can speak it ![]() Omo Yoruba ni mi o .... swaggar Prepare for the exam and success is your altogether. |
^^^ Don't be pessimistically pessimistic madam. Lemme asketh thou a question? What if you had 6.0 or above in the exam? Go with that mindset, okay? |
imperiouxx: My team RedReact, longest time my good brother. McDonald's won't be good for our health but we'll look for alternatives like roasted corn or plantain. No be me you go Ame for; shey u neva eat Makdonods abi? Me I no wan yia dat one o. In fat, I don dey dream d Mokdonods sef. I don miss you for here o; glad that you are back. My heart prays for you and our compatriots in the USA and with one big boy Francis wey go soon become VO for Ame embassy and hosts of others; good success to you all. Tuale baba!!! Iba re wan million!!! Owo meji f'eeyan kan ni jo!!! Imperiouxx ni o; joor o!!! (I no be agbero o, na gintleman I be o) |
huptin: Foreigners gave Wole SOyinka ( a yoruba man) Nobel Laureatte. Last time i checked several igbo writers were also in existence in that year an up till now, not even one has been nominated. GbamDid I bring up Soyinka in the discourse? Take Soyinka and nobel prize apart, do you want to tell me that no other Yoruba person has brains at all again? Do you want to tell me that there aren't geniuses in yorubaland except the igbo folks schooling or living there? Do you want to tell me that all those Yoruba intellectuals were dummies or what? Like I told you earlier on, every land produces the brainy ones and the lazy ones, including the most-despised northerners. |
imperiouxx: One eye on US thread, one eye on experiments, both eyes to quickly see if supervisor bursts into the lab.Buoda imperiouxx, a far nao? All the best of success for you in your endeavours by God's grace (amen). Favour on every sides and above all, excellency shall be your portion. Any Makdonods for me? |
Balkan: how do you know. If not for the rubbish the do hear in Lagos, its very impossible for any yoruba man to beat an Igbo man academics or in any competition. give this same competition to a foriegner to cunduct and see what the result will look like. Are you sure of what you said here? There are lazy and brilliant folks all over the land. FYI, most public schools in the SW are most mono-ethnic unlike their private counterparts you see multi-ethnic people there. "It is impossible for ANY Yoruba man to beat an Igbo man in any competition" according to your words; shows hatred to the so called yoruba people. |
Lagusta: make them quickly finish the road, I can't wait to travel along that road at 150km/h!!!!Odaran/criminal why not speed at 200km/hr?Abeg if u wan try ur formula 1 skills, no carry pikin along o |
gaburiel: This is what MTN, Star, Gulder, Guiness and other multinational companies in Nigeria should be doing, not project fame and street dance and star quest and nonsense nonsense nonsense. Kudos to the guysSorry to disappoint you, they aren't interest in building future leaders or genuises like that but future nuisance and noise-makers. The fact that the young lads came from public school is really gladsome to heart. The government need to do more about our public schools. |
Bus is moving and I am happy. Kudos to @Manmeta for digging out the need for the skill select route over the study route. Abeg no run commot for here again o. @Jenny, well done as usual @Ferdimako, are you still going to write ielts again since you are dumping the student path? |
posdream: Thanks ma, Pls wht abt d sponsor thru rotary I asked? Is it proper to PR path?Is it sponsorship through rotary club or someone? If the former, then when you are applying for the visa, you would av to get a letter of sponsorship from them stating why they want to sponsor you. |
jennykadry: http://m.heraldsun.com.au/news/special-features/labor-leadership-live-kevin-rudd-returns-julia-gillard-loses-support-of-partyroom/story-fnho52jj-1226669921693I never saw this post yesterday and didn't check the net for any news. Gillard, Obama and Cameron all have one trait in common; they are dhimmis. Gillard shut the door against immigrants, but she tactically opened or created loopjoles for the dangerous immigrants (maybe Jenny would get my drift) ![]() |
Mr Stunt, go and perform those stunts resident in you in Australia and fly the green-white-green colour high over there. Congratulations and success to you. |
@Americanvisa, I was the one that raised that. Actually, from your point raised, it won't be demanding at all. I only wrote with the mindset of you changing from institution to another. Or sometimes, a faculty/college to another; e.g is when you move from a science-based faculty to a technology-based faculty. Though the disparity in cost might not be that high. |
jennykadry: That is why people have to choose based on what they have in their pockets. Only them can decide thatWhat can @cconcept do? Has been searching for supervisors for his PhD but not they are not replying. @phisayor, the "pocket tearing" phrase wasn't meant for you. It's the exams that concerned you, so no worry or panic. |
That route go tear pocket o. Aint it? jennykadry: As long as you ARE ABLE to study for 2 years in a professional field, that's all they need and require of you to get a PR@horluphisayor, it is Academic. |
jennykadry: Surprised? Yea it is immigration rule I guess. I am telling you that these people write IELTS general when they come here sponsored. To get registered by the nurses board they don't need it, but to meet OZ's immigration requirement, they had toBut in case someone has studied in Oz like Kelly now, will he write the exam again for immigration purpose? |
Really? I am not sure of British citizens o, but those Americans no dey speak English of the commonwealth nations, hence their need for the test. But why the British people? jennykadry: Even English nurses who come here state sponsored or sponsored for a temporary skilled visa still write the English test. When I say English I mean the Oyibo born and bred. |
surecan: @jenny,is it possible to get a teaching job with Master of education and get employed in Australia and how easy to be sponsored.I am also waiting for her view too, as she can give more detailed opinion about it, cos mine is limited.m |
Can only happen withing PDP; but some people won't learn. They will front "superman" for those thuglific politicians to be wasted at the end, yet their wards are somewhere enjoying life. What a pity? PDP! Ever before ... Dangerous!!! Ever after ... Dangerous!!! |
surecan: RedReact,i mean if one have and education degree here in Nigeria and applied and graduated in master of education in Australia, can he get teaching job easily and how possible to be sponsored by the school for PR.Sure, you should; but as for the sponsorship thing, I am not sure, except teachers are in high demand like nurses or mining engineers. What's duration of the program? @kelly, for the PR, they use your test of English result to score you alongside other things. I quite agree that they favour IELTS more than TOEFL, but I doubt they won't accept it. When you get there and after your studies, you won't write English exam again, abi shey na French dem go use teach for 2yrs? You use the one that got you admission and visa. |
