The simple logic is that Yorubas don't go to their domains to buy these goods, they bring it to us which means we provide market for their goods which is we are rather doing them a favour. In a case of separate country where north or east are no longer part of us in a country, they'd both have to struggle and compete with other countries like Benin, Togo and others for the market we provide. And then Yorubaland bn a border country with access to sea give us lots of advantage. Yorubas don't travel to either north or east to buy, they both bring their products and produce to our market to sell. They[north] easily get away with this because we are in same country, if we are to be separate countries, north would have been replaced by now in our market.
