The same FG sending thugs abroad instead of entering into training agreements with local universities? Serious indeed. |
Looks like El-rufai must be really getting under the skin of ''Mr Clueless'' and his minions. Poor things, lacking in ideas, bereft of common sense, rich in corruption and yet no idea how to hadnle the opposition. Once again they need to learn, ''the easiest way ti silence opposition is to perform well'' History is such a good judge, if GEJ were smarter, he'll get better foot soldiers than the pathetic folks he's got on Nairaland. I dey laugh o! |
Fantastic. So the GEJ government now admits it is out of ideas and now begs the opposition for ideas? A little bit of honesty from the camp of the clueless. |
Why am i surprised? Corruption and GEJ government are synonymous. |
Sisi_Kill: Sigh!Haha. you're wasting your energy on people who are quite on the thick side.I'm sure some will pull out a tape measure at my last statement. *wink* |
Kukah or Oritsejaffer, who do i believe? One is a respected cleric who is quite objective, the other says how high when his ethnic masters say ''jump'' I go with Kukah! But i suspect the ethnic folks will be quick to point out how wrong he is. . .waiting. . . |
chosen04: Its becoming obvious that the cursed entity called niGERia may never be able to defeat BOKO HARAM . . . . .Especially with a spineless leader who is more interested in protecting corruption rather than fight it. |
That Edwin Clark needs to be examined closely. Looks like senile dementia is beginning to kick in. Can't he tell his 'son' to use all the powers at his disposal if he suspects IBB or any other person of anything? He's like a father blaming his son's genetic problem on bullies in school. He needs to face facts snd realise his son's genetic problem can't be cured by blaming others. |
;DYes he is, a war time president. . .war between good and evil, between cluelessness and those trying to salvage the country. GEJ is the commanger in chief of the clueless. . .unfortunately he seems to be winning . |
Lovely! For once Nigeria has a pastor not just preaching abour ''prosperity'' and tithes etc. God bless this man for saying the truth. Posterity judges all things, in the future those who ignore the truth for the sake of petty ethnic affiliations with be judged on the wrong side of history. Preach on pastor. Those who don't like the truth can hug a lion. |
lacasa: is your last name JonathanHa ha! ROTFLMAO! classic. ![]() |
GEJ? The man is becoming more and more of a joke every passing day. Seriously he makes it hard for those trying hard to defend him. That leaves only those proffiting from corruption and those for whom the gap between reality and falsehood is non existent. GEJ, the king of corruption. |
The dude keeps making it harder for his arse-lickers to justify his doings..damn! |
To the GEJ boot-lickers Tunde Bakare is always wrong, Oritsejaffer is always right, and the ''do not mix religion with politics only applies to Tunde Bakare. The difference: one speaks the truth, the other, an ethnic bigot. |
Another useless scheme to siphon money. Equip hospitals well Pay health workers their due and then give free treatment worth 5,000. That will be a morer sensible thing to do. Just wait, all of a sudden, you'll soon start seeing ''ghost pregnancies'' collecting money. |
Hmm. . . .i find it intriguing that the statement ''do not mix religion with politics'' is waved in our faces when Bakare speaks but not when Oritsejaffar speaks. Interestingly some eher didnt say that when someone donated a church to GEJ. Come on people, enough self-delusion. GEJ has failed as a president and if he resigns, the country may be better off for it. |
I'm sure the new look EFCC will be headed by Alamieyiesegha Supported by Tafa Balogun...in the GEJ era..the corrupt is king!! |
How many times has this fake president said he knows the people behind the bombings? How many more need to die before he does somthing? Does he have ulterior motives by allowing these bombings to continue or is he working with the bombers?if he knows them why not do something about it for heaven's sake? I conclude he is either incompetent of complicit. |
I say again GEJ's government seems to be the most corrupt ever! He is beginnning to make us yearn for Abacha. . . .that's how bad this man is! |
Ans so marks the end of the subsidy probe thing. There'll be so many distractions and counter disctractions that at the end of the day, the probe is dead. One thing is clear though, the government is aware that without these people stealing all these vast amounts of money, there would have been no need to remove the subsidy yet instead of tackling the bad guys, the masses are forced to bear the brunt. Moreso the president's friends have their fingers deep in these crises so he has no choice but to protect his friends by hook or by crook. This is the most corrupt president the country has ever had, makes Abacha look like a saint. God help Nigeria |
This El-Rurai is definitely ruffling feathers. Can it be said that he has been insulting the Hausa 'race' by critiqing the northern budgets? Obi needs to sit down and relax. . .look at the criticism and get down to shaming El-rufai. Thats what a right thinking person will do not whip uo ethnic sentiments in the sheep. |
philip0906: kindly prove the above. . .He's obviously bought into the propaganda by people profitting from corruption. They know this man will run their As.s.es down so they will smear him from now till kingdom come. |
It is obvious some people are so fixated in theirr hatred for Buhari that thye won't even read before commenting on his person. Once again you've so much focused on the messenger that the very important message is lost on you all. Regardless of what you think of him, his statement can't be any more correct. It is now very obvious who the real bigots are. Going by some people here, Nigeria is certainly not ready for change. This accident claimed the lives of people from all corners of the country, death didn't choose by tribe or ethnicity. If we face facts, we save lives, if not the deaths will keep happening and will keep coming closer home. |
![]() abacus: This u must ask your stup!d head, "Are they going back to status quo", will they maintain on the issue that nade them down tool in the first place. You need to grow!Eh ya again. . .sorry o! The thing don pepper you finish.I dey laugh o! Talking about brains, you need to aspire to have as much as doctors. I can see you feel intimidated with all that fire-spitting against doctors. |
Eh ya!Some people are so hurt that the doctors are being begged back to work. So what happens to the ''locums''(who are actually NYSC doctors serving in Lagos)? E dey really pain some people that Fashola suddenly grew a brain. The government desperately needs to save face. I hope the government has learnt a lesson or two from this, don't mess with indispensable people even if you can afford to fly your own father to the US for treatment, sooner or later history will judge you as the governmor who toyed with the lives of the masses. Honour agreements signed and don't listen to political jobbers like Ore Falomo. This whole episode threatened to mess up an image Fashola built over several years and i'm not sure how much of his credibility has been eroded by his stance on this matter. |
bodejohn: We need to be very objective no matter whose as.s is at stake. The same government of Fashola signed with paper and ink the salary in dispute about a year ago before the elections only to renege on its payment after they won the elections. Even if there was change in the leadership of the state, the new government is duty bound by the agreement reached by the previous administration since we all know that government is a continuum.God bless you for this. |
pmarine: He said it LIVE on Tuesday....I jus tire for this country.Do we need any more evidence that the government's case has been based on lies all along? Waging a war against Drs on the pages of newspapers. This ''total recall'' is just evidence that they have run out of ideas and trying to save face. Recalling does not rule out the fact that it was illegal. Now they can return to negotiation about the real reason for the strike and the ''sack'' issue can be put to rest. Doctors i'm sure will not return to work till that is sorted out as another strike will be difficult. |
Mr. Globe:This is really hilarious, humbled?Look closer, the doctors will eventually get what they want, fashola wanted to play hardball and he had to blink first. Its easy to pontificate now, i'm sure people like you will be one of the first to shout if they go on strike for facilities in a coouple of months. Going by your logic you want them to up and leave and work for the FG?well the same could apply, people complaining about these Drs can leave Lagos and live in states paying conmess or must people live in lagos too? The government messed up big time and is now on a face saving venture. Truths about Fashola flying his father out of the country for care broke in the press hence this sudden 'change of heart'. These whole trouble will only make Drs more resolute. Hope the govt learns the importance of honouring agreements signed. It is obvious people won't support another strike hence this battle will be fought till the last penny is paid by the government. There may not be any more strikes after this so this one must yield its desired results. To think a more diplomatic approach would have worked. . . .shame on LASG. |
tpia@:Turn on the news if you're in the UK. |
Don't bother folks, this thread will not satisfy the 'pull him down' mentality many little minds have for doctors. It will never make the front page. |
Ha ha! Guess these folks realise the fact that politicians don't care about them. Looks like Fashola bit more than he can chew on this one. He needs to backtrack ASAP and avoid ruining all his previous good works. I think his advisers are leading him astray on this one, most unions have now realised that it's not just about doctors. If this 'succeeds', most unions know they can be sacked too hence this solidarity. I suspect this will continue until the whole state is grounded and doctors are recalled. |
It wasn't until I got that if things aren't literally explained, laid out bare, busted wide open, stripped naked, most people don't get it that I stopped getting angry. . . but ya know what, that's the sotry for another day
